Days later, Draco holds their newborn daughter in his arms, looking down at her as if she’s the most precious thing in the world. Hermione is exhausted but glowing, watches from the bed, a soft smile playing on her lips.
“She looks like you.” He murmurs.
Hermione lets out a sleepy laugh. “Poor thing.”
Draco smirks but doesn’t take his eyes off the baby. “No, she’s perfect.” He leans down pressing the softest kiss to Hermione’s forehead. “Just like her mother.”
And for the first time in years, Hermione doesn’t doubt it.
She’s loved, safe, and finally truly happy.
