Hermione stared after Draco as he sauntered away from her down the corridor, anger burning her face. She had no idea how she was going to get him to talk to her other than to insult her.
She knew how important her mission was, how much rested on getting Draco to join the Order.
She turned to see Severus Snape leaning in the doorway of the Defense classroom, arms crossed with a concerned expression on his face. His black eyes met hers as she felt him slip into her mind:
‘Next time Hermione.’
She glared at him in frustration and turned on her heel, breaking the connection as she stormed off.
