Fine You Win
“I can’t believe you just said that to me,” she said with a dumbfounded look on her face. She marched up to him, smacking him across the face causing him to drop the potions vials he was holding onto the floor of their shared lab.
“Merlin’s mercy witch,” he hissed, grabbing her by the wrist to prevent further assault upon his person. “I would expect this sort of behavior from one of your friends, not from you Miss Granger.”
She glared up at him, hair crackling while attempting to formulate a response. Her whiskey- coloured eyes met his obsidian glare as she felt him enter her mind.
She didn’t have the time to put up her occlumency walls as he viewed all of her anger, embarrassment, and shame at his accusations. He jerked away as he viewed memories of himself from her perspective.
“What the devil is wrong with you?” She exclaimed as she stumbled backwards away from him. “You cannot just enter my mind!”
She drew her wand preparing to hex him for the violation, when she heard him utter a phrase she never believed would come out of his mouth.
“Fine, you win.”
