Chapter one
Hestia wakes up at about 10am, when her mother, Bellatrix, wakes her up. In her time as Hestia, she hadn’t seen her adoptive father much, so she was a tad bit nervous, but went into it with the usual intellect she did when getting her revenge on Caels behalf.
“Hessy, dearest, it’s time to wake up.” Hestia opened her eyes as her mother, her mother. Gosh, that sounded strange. Bellatrix opened the door.
“Draco’s coming today, we haven’t received the letter yet, but your eleventh birthday is soon!(Again, Hestia doesn’t have a canon birthday, so this is made up) So we’re going shopping!”
Hestia sat up in bed, from the memories she received after inspecting her room, she had mostly pleasant memories of her cousin, Draco. Although he was a bit of a brat. Hestia asked in a slightly goofy and curious tone, “We’re seeing Draco today?” To which Bellatrix responded with a curt nod as she opened Hestias closet.
“Come pick an outfit! Cissy will be here soon with Draco!” Hestia grinned and scurried out of bed to pick an outfit. Just like before when she was married to Cael, she had very nice gowns and such, but she opted for a more muggle looking outfit. Bellatrix hummed an approval and Hestia went to shower.
After she got out the shower, and got dressed, she did her hair in a half and half style and put her shoes on.
Hestia was a bit excited to go shopping for her Hogwarts items. She wore jeans more on the darker side with a white shirt and bright red high top converse. She used a wine red ribbon to tie her hair in her usual style. Her hair had two strands from the front come to the back and be tied together before loosing themselves into the rest of her hair. The ribbon was tied into a loose bow before she looked in the mirror and decided it just wasn’t magical enough.
She went to her dresser and picked up some jewelry. She decided on silver earrings of a snake with red jewels as eyes, she looked in the mirror again and was satisfied.
After she was done, she went downstairs and skipped breakfast like usual before she saw her favorite cousin, and grinned.
They took the floo to Diagon Alley and bought their robes, books, etc. Hesita and Draco were particularly excited about going to Ollivanders and getting their wands.
As they stepped inside Ollivanders, they were amazed, although Draco tried to hide it for some odd dedication to his pride.
Ollivander smiled as he welcomed the 4 into his shop. “Ah, Ms. Black, Mr. Malfoy, I’ve been expecting you. Let’s try some wands, shall we?”
Hestia smiled and nodded before she picked up a wand, when Ollivander told her to give it a wave, she did, and the wall crumbled. Ollivander fixed it and they went through dozens of wands before they found the right ones.
Hestia got a wand made of cedar wood snd her core was a Phoenix feather that was intertwined with a dragons heartstring. Draco’s wand was made of hawthorn wood with a unicorn hair core.
As they were on the way out of diagon alley, Draco threw a fit that he wasn’t allowed to get a broom, to which Hestia rolled her eyes.
