Garden of Roses

Silver looked at the time, there was still enough time to just relax before dinner service. She had already seen to Petunia's departure safely. She was glad for the twins having time to settle in. Silver made her way back to the twins table and sat across from them. "I have three options for you one is to be shown your rooms and let you get settled in, if you have any purchases we can set them out already. Option two is to go and meet my husband Zhongli and have him start teaching you about meditation at Longdei. Option three we can talk about scheduling out your time for the rest of the summer," Silver presented to the twins giving them time to process what was being said.

"I think options three and one would be best for today, knowing our schedule will help us settle in better in the long run and knowing our options of what we can do will lead to less trouble in the long run," Mariposa said letting her thoughts show right now.

"Posa is right, we need to know if there will be time to explore and such as well as learn about our new place in the wixen world," Harry agreed with his twin as he looked at Silver.

Silver nodded understanding the need to quickly establish a baseline once you have been given somewhere safe or supposedly safe to call home possibly. As with all Abuse victims they were trying to see the rules of the lives they would have now and structure would only help them open up more. This showed her more about how hurt the twins were by there last enviorment not just the malnutrition but the lack of emotional support, withholding of love and affection, it was all there and that they were so polite and well mannered was a miracle.

"Alright then, Do you want to talk here, I have a way that no one will over hear us if you want to stay here or we can go to my office again if you wish," she offered them.

"Here is fine, " Mariposa said as she watched Silver raise her hand and make a circle motion in the air with a ringed finger. "Do you not use a wand?" Mariposa asked curious at the casual wandless magic use she was seeing from Silver.

"I have one but this is such a simple spell for me I just need my focus to cast it," Silver explained. She saw the spark of interest in Mariposa's eyes as she thought about that. "But Foci are not a normal way of using magic but if you both do well and are at the top of your class ranking at the end of first year I will see if my friend who runs a shop would recommend you wearing an extra focus," she said smiling as Harry seemed to gain the spark as well at the thought.

"We will be tied for top spot," Mariposa said already planning their study sessions.

"Lets take it one day at a time first, now give me a moment to get some paper," Silver said summoning paper and pen to her once again using her focus to show the twins what it was capable of doing for them with the right practice. She saw how such simple magic gave them child like joy and amazement.

"Now, First thing on the agenda that I will not negotiate is a healers appointment so we know where we are starting and where we need to get to before you start school," Silver stated. She saw the twins look at each other and nod. "We understand," they intoned.

"Now beyond that everything is negotiable," Silver said as she started writing down Healers appointments first. "This is just going to list things you want to do before school starts, I know we cannot do full camps but day/week camps we can do those and if I remember there are two weeks at the end of next month and two at the beginning of the one after that we can try to get you into but we need topics," silver said as she looked at the twins.

"Well," Mariposa started as she pulled out the pamphlets she had seen and grabbed from Crowen's Solutions she laid them down before her and her twin. "It looks like we need primers for potions, Herbology, Runes and Magical Theory if we don't want to be on the back foot starting," Mariposa said as she slid forward some children's primers camp information packs. "I was going to see if we could get into one or multiple of these but without a magical guardian it would have been harder," Mariposa stated as she looked at Silver.

"I see, we can definitely look into those four, may i ask why runes?" Silver asked as she knew most Hogwarts students didn't start runes until 3rd year. "Runes just seem interesting and who knows where our skills lay," Mariposa stated as she looked at Silver her eyes taking on a different look when it came to learning something new, a more fierce need to know something she didn't know yet.

Silver nodded and wrote the four topics down. "Fair points and we can get those looked into, I see you have the pamphlets so let me get those deadlines," Silver said making notes across from the topics.

"I think we are going to need time to browse through all the book shops and begin building our libraries of reference texts," Harry said knowing his sister wouldn't stop wanting to learn from books.

"We can have three dedicated days a week when you are not at camp to go book shopping so you get the best experience," Silver offered. "Not just books but all the shops we need to know what they have available to us and where to go for information on topics and learning from the masters what to look for in terms of books and such," Mariposa stated wanting to start Networking already.

Silver looked at the girl and tilted her head if she was not in Slytherin she was an otter in human form.

"Alright then but the week before school starts I will have you go back and get resized for your robes and off time clothes, just so that everything will fit the best it can before you head off to school. As well as we can check if you need new robes at winter break if you wish," Silver said thinking about how three healthy meals a day would do them the most good.

"sounds fair, We also need to pick up our trunks, school bags and wands tomorrow as well," Mariposa said ticking off items they didn't finish getting today.

"Purchases you already made before you came here correct?" Silver asked noting it down.

"Yes the they were also the most time consuming commissions we had made," Harry said so that he could let Mariposa take a break for a moment.

"Well then if this is all we need to discuss I can have a full schedule written out once i get words from the camps," Silver said as she looked at the twins who nodded in agreement. "Okay then if you are ready I can show you your rooms then you can come back down if you wish to socialize or you can remain in your rooms your choice," she said as she went to stand.

"Thank you for letting us chose how quickly we can begin to socialize," Harry said as he stood and pulled Mariposa's chair out as well.

"It is all part of finding how well we can turn the inn into your home," Silver said as she grabbed the keys and began to walk the twins upstairs. They walked up to the top floor. "These will be your rooms, as you get older you can if you wish move down floors as you wish, if you don't wish to move you don't have to," Silver explained. The rooms were in the middle of the hall protected on all sides by wards.

The twins took their keys and opened their doors and saw stock rooms. "Once you have colors you want your walls let me know and I can get them changed for you, or once you learn the color changing charm you can do it yourself. If you wish to have enchanted scenes put up again let me know and we can work on taking care of getting them done for you, I want you to feel comfortable in your own space, the only things we cannot really change is the furniture as they are custom made pieces. We can try to do color changes on them to fit themes but we cannot change them out," Silver explained as she watched Mariposa go open the door between the rooms same with Harry as they listened to Silver.

As she explained the limitations of the room decor Mariposa walked to her bed and sat down. She had never been in such a large space just for herself. She bit her lip and asked "If we need to stay in the same room for now would that be allowed?" she worried her lip as she waited for the answer worried that the answer would be no.

"We can allow it for the first month but we do need to get you sleeping on your own before school due to the dorms being split by gender there," Silver explained. Mariposa nodded. Maybe once she had more things to fill the space it would feel less huge.

"Dont worry after we get your trunk and other items after your healers appointment tomorrow we will look into getting some things to make the rooms feel more like your space," Silver said noticing the nervousness both of them seemed to have faced with the blank room before them.

Silver did a tempus charm and realized she needed to get back downstairs. "I'll leave you two here for now, if you want to come back down you can but don't feel the need to, I will check on you after the dinner service is done," Silver said as she turned to leave.

"Thank you for taking us in Mrs. Silver, " Mariposa said in a smaller voice than silver had heard from her all day. "Don't worry about it little one, just settle in for now everything will be better than it was," Silver said as she left the twins to take in the rooms on their own heading back downstairs.

Harry moved across the room and sat beside Mariposa. "This is the start of our new adventure Posa, we don't have to hide how smart we are anymore, we don't have to worry about our breathing being to loud anymore," He said as he wrapped an arm round her.

"I know Ric, I just worry if the other shoe will drop when we least expect it, It's almost too good to be true, and we know what it is like to be lied to and punished for believing the lie, I never want to see that happen to either of us again," Mariposa said as she clung to her twin.

"I know Posa, but at least you don't have to hide your hair all the time anymore," he said smiling trying to give her something positive to look at in all this.

"Very true but now I have to worry about how I style it from now on," she said laughing lightly while her eyes were slightly misting.

-- Downstairs --
Silver hit the bottom step of the stairway and looked over the Tavern. She smiled softly as she saw Zhongli walking to the table that the twins had just left. Moving over she went to him and carefully sat in his lap as she kissed him.

"We have two new wards," Silver said softly as she laid her head against his chest.

"Is it the two from earlier today?" Zhongli asked as he wrapped one of his arms around her waist to keep her safe and secure in his lap. A simple bowl of soup was brought out to him from the kitchen so he could still eat while he listened to Silver.

"Yes, they rely on each other so much, its painful to think that's what it took for them to survive," Silver stated as she curled into his hold as he took a bite of his soup.

"I know but every person recovers differently some take the pain and turn it to their advantage like coal becoming a diamond and others let the fractures break them, we saved them early so I feel they will become stronger from this moving forward and become the best version of themselves," Zhongli said as he looked at his wife.

"I just have to get the goblins to give us two healers appointments first thing tomorrow then take them to get some of their purchases tomorrow. The young lady of the two is going to be a force to be reckoned with if she is given the right skills and lessons, She already wants to learn runes at 10 years of age, if she's not of the house of Slytherin I don't know who would fit the house better," Silver stated as she looked around slightly.

"Ambition is never a bad thing as long as it is tempered with other traits," Zhongli said as he continued to eat and every once in a while offered Silver a bite as well. "We can keep her from dangerous things while she is growing and let her grow into someone we would have been blessed to have in our lives even if not by blood, then we can let them thrive on their own and watch from a distance to see the boon of our work like we always do," Zhongli said matter of fact like. He knew she was worried about how deep the ambition could go and how dangerous it could be if not guided properly.

"I know but it would not only be her downfall but her twins, he is her protector, he would move mountains if it was to protect her or she asked it of him and that kind of loyalty can be dangerous too, we keep her on the neutral path and both will succeed in life but one falls the other will burn the world down to raise them back up," Silver stated noticing how close the twins were and how they circled each other. She was not sure if them being in separate houses would be better or worse for Hogwarts.

"Let us hope that our structure and security will give them what they need to be just who they need to be and if they stumble we can catch them and help them walk a little better," Zhongli stated as he kissed Silver once more then finished his soup.

"Will we be starting meditation with them tonight?" Zhongli asked.

"I am not sure, we might have to go ask them, I think Xiao was also going to offer them dream wards to keep the nightmares away but I don't know if they will take it," Silver said softly as she listened to Zhongli's heartbeat steady and calm.

"Well then lets go up together, all three of us and check on them, we can see if they want to learn to meditate and Xiao can offer to ward their rooms," Zhongli said carefully standing and keeping Silver in his arms.

As the night got towards 8pm the trio of adults made the trek back up to the 8th floor and moved down to the twins doors. Zhongli set Silver back on her feet as she knocked and they waited to hear if the twins moved in either room.

Xiao heard the bed creak as someone got up and made their way across the room to the door. They saw Mariposa open her door rubbing her eyes a bit. She had fallen asleep slightly.

"Hello?" Mariposa said unsure of what was going on. "We were coming to see if you wanted to begin learning meditation tonight," Silver said as she took in the half awake state of Mariposa. "if you are tired we can let you go back to sleep dear," Silver reasured.

"I didn't mean to fall asleep we were just waiting, If you can teach us that would be interesting," Mariposa said as she came to a bit more. As she stood at the door Harry walked up behind her and took control of the door so she didn't have to control it and when she said that he pushed it further open and stepped back with her to let the adults into the room.

"We would be honored to help you learn the art of meditation," Zhongli said as he inclined his head slightly and entered the room along side Silver and Xiao.

So the twins worked with the help of Zhongli and Xiao to learn how to begin meditating. They didn't get far before it was time to go to bed. As everyone went to leave Xiao looked at the twins and said "I know how to ward dreams against nightmares would you like me to do so for you tonight?"

Mariposa shook her head then said "I believe we will be fine thank you for the offer and should we need it we will let you know," Xiao frowned but nodded and left the twins to go to bed. Mariposa looked at Harry and hugged him.

"Do you want to sleep together tonight or in our own beds tonight?" Mariposa asked.

"We can try separate tonight if it doesn't do well we can always move into one room if we need it," Harry said wanting to be brave in this new place.

"Okay then see you in the morning Ric, I won't lock my inner door just in case," she said as she bit her lip slightly as she went to the wardrobe and saw there was a few pieces of clothing for them to use until others could be gotten.

"Good night Posa, Sleep well," Harry said as he went to his room and closed the door.

Once she changed Mariposa crawled into the bed. She laid there not sure how hard it would be to fall asleep. It didn't take long but the dreams that came were nothing she was prepared for. As she slept she dreamed that Vernon found them she felt his hand grip her arm as he pulled her away from the Inn. She struggled trying to get away from Vernon. She could feel his fingers digging into her arm. You should have come back yesterday girl, you were going to be cooking for me! I had to have take out instead of a meal waiting for me, I already took care of that useless freak boy now you can come back where you belong instead of dreaming of leaving, you won't even have to finish school not with what I want you to do, live in help, barely have to feed you and no one will miss you now that the freak is gone.

Mariposa cried in her sleep. She couldn't pull herself out of the dream but her body had been conditioned to never utter a sound from a nightmare or the punishment was worse. Her dream spiraled down to her being a live in slave for Vernon and if she did something wrong or was seen during any hosting events she took the punishments over and over again now that Harry was gone. She laid in the cupboard silently crying wishing she could join her twin.

Morning came and Silver began her rounds of wake up calls for her wards. She reached Mariposa's room and knocked twice waiting to see if she would need to enter the room. She was surprised to notice that Mariposa was not awake yet as she saw Harry peak out of his room when he heard the knock on his sisters door.

"Good morning Harry," Silver greeted and saw him nod "Morning, Posa not answering?" he said seeming concerned.

Silver frowned and shook her head "No maybe the bed is a little stronger than the urge to get up this morning," she said hopeful it was just a want of 5 more minutes in the warmth of sleep. She began her entry policy "Mariposa I'm coming in," Silver said as she opened the door. What she saw once the door was opened made her heart drop.

In the bed covers torn up was Mariposa curled up tear stained cheeks but eyes still closed in sleep. Silver thought fast and looked back to Harry. "Go tell Zhongli who should be down two levels that I might need a few minutes so he can start breakfast for everyone while I deal with helping Mariposa," she said letting Harry know she was going to be in safe hands.

Once Harry rushed off Silver turned back to the young girl that was trapped in her nightmare. She felt her heart break that this was how she had been all night. "Oh dear one, we will make sure you have a nightmare ward tonight so you can rest easy," Silver said as she knelt beside the bed and carefully began to try and coax Mariposa to wake up.

Mariposa took a good ten minutes to be released from her nightmare. She opened her eyes with tears in them as she stared at the ceiling.

"Morning dear one, do you know where you are?" Silver asked as she pushed her hair back.

"Nightowl inn, is Harry safe?" Mariposa asked.

"Of course he's waiting for you downstairs," Silver said sticking to the facts. She saw Mariposa nod. "Do you want to shower before going down?" Silver offered Mariposa as she saw the girl sit up.

Mariposa nodded, she wanted to scrub herself down after how she had been treated in her nightmare. "I just don't have anything else to wear," she said looking to Silver.

"Don't worry I have a pretty dress for you to wear," Silver said going to the wardrobe and pulling out a dress similar to what she had worn yesterday just no slit and it was in a pale green with a silver design of scales along her sides.

"Something comfortable and respectable," Silver said as she showed it to Mariposa. She saw the girl nod as she went to the bathroom and started to wash up. Once she finished and was dressed she presented herself to Silver her hair falling in waves about her face.

Silver carefully lead Mariposa downstairs and to the table that had Zhongli and Harry. When he saw his sister clean and hair loose he smiled and went to hug her. When she reached her twin she clung to him like she was never going to let go. "you're safe, he didn't get you, your safe," she said softly where only Harry could hear. Harry let her cling and eventually got her calmed down enough to eat breakfast.

"We have a lot to do Posa so lets eat and then we can go get it all done and read something new today," Harry said smiling for her. Mariposa nodded being quiet for now as she shook off the effects of the nightmare.

Once everyone was ready Silver looked at the twins and said "We're heading to Gringotts this morning, we have to see a few of the healers there and they will keep everything secure," she explained as she noticed the confusion on the twins faces. Once explained they nodded and followed Silver out of the Inn and to Gringotts.

When the twins and Silver arrived at the bank they went to one of the tellers when it was there time and Silver requested to see the Goblin Healers. It did not take long for a runner to be brought out to take them to the Healing halls of Gringotts.

"We didn't know that there were healers here," Mariposa stated as she followed Silver as they went to take a seat to wait for one of the Healers to come talk to them.

"It is not a widely known detail only those that are considered Goblin friend or in the know other ways are really taken in to see their healers. Most of my wards become well acquainted with the Goblins and treat them with respect well enough to be allowed to ask for the service from time to time once they leave my care," Silver explained.

"That is good to know," Harry said as Mariposa nodded.

"Now what I am going to have the goblins do is deep scans for your health and if it reveals anything troubling we might have to call in specialists, if I get angry during this time its not at you but for you as somethings should not ever be done to children without very good reasons okay," Silver explained knowing that there was a chance though small that something might set her off and letting them know ahead of time that she was angry on their behalf would keep them from fearing her right now.

"Thank you for the warning," Mariposa said as they were approached by a goblin in white and seafoam green robes.

"Welcome to the Healing Halls of Gringotts, What is being needed today?" said the healer as they looked up at Silver.

"Greetings Master Healer, today with the permission of my wards I would like Gringotts to do a full deep scan to reveal any hidden medical problems as well as a full medical history of injuries," she stated.

"Very well," the Healer said as they turned to the twins. "Do we have your permission to do Full medical histories as well as the Deep Scans needed to fulfil this request?" the Healer stated as the twins looked at Silver.

"What would these scans reveal?" Mariposa asked wanting to know what they were agreeing to before they said yes.

"Can this information be used against us if we agree to have it done?" Harry asked realizing what Mariposa was trying to get out of the adults before them.

"I can answer that the Scans we would be providing would reveal any and all predispositions to health issues, Family gifts that might appear, Family curses that could be activated if you are not careful and any preventatives you have received thus far for dangerous medical illnesses." the healer stated.

"No nothing brought to light here will be used in anyway that is not beneficial to your path to healthy living," Silver stated answering Harry's question.

"Then we consent to the medical scans and treatments that are needed today, any blood drawn should only be used in these medical treatments and for nothing else," the twins stated together.

Silver stilled a moment and smiled at the way the twins innately knew what and how to say what they were consenting to and the bounds in which things could be used or not used.

The goblin blinked then nodded bowing slightly. "Very well if you will follow me I will take you both to a room to await the scans. "we can have your guardian wait with you or in another room should you wish it," the goblin stated as they opened the door to the exam room that had two beds in it and a chair off to the side.

"Mrs. Silver can stay, she can help explain things to us if need be," Mariposa said plainly. She was not sure how much she trusted the goblins to explain everything plainly to them and not use words she might not understand.

"As you wish" The goblin healer said as they let Silver into the room. "Give us a few moments to get our specialists ready to come and do the deep scans," then they left the room.

Once the specialists came back into the room they each stood before the twins and told them to just try to breath normally while their scans worked to get a good read on them.

Once the scan finished and the parchment was ready the Goblin specialists looked at the twins and asked "Can we present these to your guardian and they can discuss them with you as we believe they have enough knowledge to help you come up with a course of action," the specialists said in a controlled tone.

"That would be fine," Mariposa said as she looked at Silver hoping it was not to bad.

"We will be near by just have one of the runners get us if we can be of further assistance," the Goblin specialist stated as they then left the room. They did not want to be anywhere near the room when Silver read some of those seals and possibly called in others to deal with it.

Silver took the parchments and watched as the Goblin healers left the room quickly. That did not bode well for what she was about to read. Taking a deep breath she looked down at Mariposa's first. She read through everything blinked and read it again before moving to Harry's papers. The process was very similar she read it then blinked processing and read it again. She stood up and looked at the twins before saying "I am going to be calling someone here unconventionally just know he is mine and I will not let him hurt you no matter how he feels or looks." Then as a submissive is able to do she pulled on her bond with one of her Alpha's and demanded his presence at her side.

-- Death's Court, Arythmoor Manor --

Aiden was in a meeting with one of his Elder Beta's of the Hound pack trying to work through paperwork that had built up over the last few months. He had not been as diligent as he could be making sure it was finished and filled out properly and now he was paying the price.

"Thorne I need you to get in touch with..." Aiden started when he felt a sharp tug on his bonds with one of his submissives. It was never good when the one that rarely tugs on the bonds pulls on the bond like his lady could at any given moment.

"I need to go one of my bonded is demanding my attention urgently, Please continue to go through these papers and help Melacor with his studies while i am gone," Aiden instructed as he only waited to receive Thorne's acknowledgement then shadow stepped away to his submissive's side.

-- Goblin Healing halls, Gringotts, Earth --

Silver waited impatiently with the twins for Aiden to materialize at her side. She felt him push that he was on his way through the bond but she really couldn't contain her anger as she waited. She wanted to rip and rend the papers in her hands and if she ever got her hands on those that had sealed the children without reason they would not be long for Death's Court judgement.

As she flexed her fingers trying to keep her temper in check the shadows condensed into a familiar figure to Silver. She walked over to him and growled slightly then looked at the twins trying to remain calm. "Do you mind if I share these results with Aiden so he can assist me with coming up with a plan to help get you healthy?" she asked knowing they were the age of consent on Nevarah and seals were Nevarah rules always.

"He is yours right? if you trust him then we will trust him until he proves otherwise," Mariposa said as she saw Silver nod to her first question.

Silver then held out the papers to a very confused Aiden who took them and had very similar reactions to what he read. Reading pausing blinking reading the list again. Growling filled the air until Silver bopped him on the nose.

"None of that right now, we need to discuss how to best help them." Silver said

"Healers, specialists in Seals, children and souls, so Kalzik's should be contacted probably, should....."Aiden paused as he reread Mariposa's seals list again and catching finally a familiar family name.

"Thorne and his son need to come here," Aiden thought out loud then sent off a message bubble to Briar to come to him immediately and a second to tell Thorne to be ready to leave at a moments notice.

-- Evanson Cottage, Nevarah --

Briar was in the gardens sulking. Jun was still ignoring them and everyone was feeling the loss of their Alpha's presence. She had gone off realm for work and said they would talk when she got back but that had been years ago now. Years that Briar had tried to cling to his righteous anger from the arguement but now it was just heartbreaking the absence and lack of communication. So Briar was sulking and avoiding anyone that would be able to pull his head out of his ass about all of this ie Death's court.

So when the quiet afternoon was interrupted by a message bubble that had an order from the hound Briar sat up and listened.

"Briar My side now! I have been lenient enough so you better move that ass now!" Briar whined as he sent a message to his beta and pareya to let them know he was summoned by The Hound and would be back as soon as he was done. Feelings of understanding flooded his marks from those he had contacted as he stepped to Aiden's side.

-- Goblin Healing halls, Gringotts, Earth --

As they waited for Briar to arrive Silver found herself pacing then deciding to sit between the twins to keep her nerves. She decided that keeping the twins informed would be probably the best use of the energy that wanted to take flesh off of bone right now.

"I will try to answer questions you have but I am very upset by what I read so it might make my answers sharper than I normally give, " Silver said in warning.

The twins nodded as they thought about what was going on. They had gotten the papers after Aiden was finished reading them so they could make informed questions.

"Can you explain what Seals are?" Mariposa asked.

"Faucets," Silver said.

"Seals are used to regulate magic for those they are applied to and can act like Faucets," Aiden elaborated.

"Okay so is there a normal amount of seals for a person to have or is there no limit to seals?" Harry asked.

"Family only" Silver clipped off.

"Normally family seals would be the only ones children ever have interaction with, but occasionally they might need magic seals to not overwhelm a growing core due to overabundant production of magic," Aiden Translated for the twins.

As Aiden finished that translation a small gaunt figure appeared at his side kneeling beside him. "Lord Aiden," Briar intoned as he awaited what he was needed for.

"Eyes up, Evanson." Silver snapped. "We have questions, and you'd better have answers or know where to find them."

"Answer Silver," Aiden agreed, his hand dragging through Briar's hair. "Then you're to report to Thorne, and stay. Do not incure Our Lady's further Wrath."

"Yes Lord Aiden, What are the Questions you have for me Lady Silver?" Briar asked as he looked up at Silver and he stilled as he took in the two beside her. "Jun?" Briar let out in a whispered breath as he took in the red hair and green eyes of the girl before him then looked at the boy and noticed he only had Jun's eyes. Had his Alpha had children while away? Had she moved on? Who were these two children? all swirled in his mind as he seemed to crumple beside Aiden a little more.

"Focus!" Silver snapped. "I don't have time for pity parties. Get your family trees: Both your Father's and your Alpha's. Then answer me this: Why were these two left in an abusive home?!"

Briar whimpered slightly at the sharpness of her orders but nodded. "As you wish Lady Silver, Give me a few moments to get those trees, But as to your last question if they are children of Jun's I don't know why she wouldn't send them to us if they are grand children we did not know about them as we would have never been out of touch," Briar stated as he lowered his head and began to gather the shadows around him so he could return to Nevarah.

"Run fast, Evanson." Aiden murmered. "Silver is more pissed than I, and your..... absense will be adressed after this is completed."

Briar nods and lets the shadows take him. He is not gone for long before he returns with two scrolls in hand. "The trees Lord and Lady," Briar said as he held them up to be taken.

Aiden took the scrolls. "To Thorne." He said simply.

Briar nods then looks to Aiden. "My Alpha's been on Mission I am beginning to think something has happened to her if you can find any information that would be appreciated," then left in the shadows to return to Thorne's side.

Silver stalked over to her Alpha, her magic reaching out and levitating the scrolls free of Aiden's hands, the ends unrolling just enough to find Briar's name. "....There's the errant pup." She muttered, tracing it down, finding Petunia's name, then Lily's side by side. She hissed angrily, seeing the Death Date, then the murky look over Petunia's image. Silver then looked further down, spotting that Harry and Mariposa were born the very same day- Mariposa's adoption the next day.

"Beloved?" Aiden asked, his hands gently moving her face away from the Scrolls, to look at him.

"I will rip and shred, tear and rend the foul bastards to where not even Our Lady can repair the souls." Silver hissed, her eyes glowing slits of malicious magic.

"Are we going to be okay?" Mariposa asked in a small voice as Harry moved to her side.

Silver's magic froze, her eyes blinking shut for a moment, before she stalked over to the twins, scooping them into her arms. She was thankful that they were small yet. Her nose buried into both of their heads, scenting them. "Eventually." She murmured. "Aiden, there's a soul fragment on Harry, here."

Aiden growled, before he stalked over, taking Harry gently, sniffing for the scent that the shard. "It's tiny. The fool made multiple shards."

"Can we get it out of me? I don't want someone else in me," he said worried and a little panicked.

"Very easily." Aiden gruffed, setting Harry on the bed next to them. "Stay still." He ordered, before he shifted, becoming a Dire wolf Hellhound. He quickly licked Harry's scar, gently removing the foul soul shard from the still open wound. He then spat the shard into a box that Silver now held for him. He shifted back. "That was...... atrocious. I need to get a bottle of my wine now." He groubled.

Silver laughed lightly, offering her wrist to him. "How about a feed instead?"

"We can.... talk.... about it later." Aiden spoke with darkening eyes. "Once I have... taken care of-"

"_Most. One is still needed._" A shadowy order came from a darkened corner. "_The book and the main piece is to remain, the rest is free game. My.... Sister.... needs them in play still. At least until these two's fourth year end."

"Yes, Our Lady." Aiden bowed deeply, Silver following suite.

"_Take care of them, Silver._" The voice ordered, before the room seemed to lighten.

"What was that?" that twins asked in sync.

"That was Our Lady." Aiden said after the room lightened fully. "Lady Death."

"She gives good hugs when she meets you doesn't she?" Harry asked remembering a feeling he would get when he dreamed of the green light.

"And she tries to be serious but just wants to love all of us," Mariposa finished as she looked at the corner that had held the energy of the immortal.

Silver hummed. "Yes, and no. It only happens with Favored Lines. Your Paternal Line is one of them."

"But she will love both of us right?" Harry asked having seen that Mariposa was only adopted to be his twin.

"Ric, it's okay, if she just focuses on you that's fine, You are special" she said eyes teary a bit.

"Posa! you are my Twin! its not okay if you are not included," Harry said worried she wouldn't see herself as his twin anymore.

"Lady Magic thinks that you two are twins." Silver murmured gently into Mariposa's ear. "That is another Immortal there."

Mariposa felt the tears fall even as she tried to keep them at bay. "I love my twin and with me not being a true child of the line she favors it would make sense if she just focused on my twin and didn't look at me, i would understand, I get that L...."

A sharp boney finger booped Mariposa's nose. "Enough of that. You are one of Mine through your Maternal Line."

Mariposa flailed a bit as she got booped. She didn't know what to say to that as she tried to get ahold of her emotions again. "Thank you for the reassurance but I do have a question, can i be accepted by my twins line somehow, I know that I have an altered seal because of the adoption, is it a test for me to get fully accepted?" she had been puzzling on that as well.

"That is a good question... Can you pass it?" The Immortal challenged, vanishing again.

Determination filled Mariposa's eyes. "I'll do my best to, even without knowing the test," she said to the others in the room.

Aiden gave her a sharp smile. "Good. Keep that fire, Pup. I unfortunately have paperwork to return to, and a hunt to order, though I will be here for a bit longer. Silver, message me when you're finished with the day, so that we can.... Talk."

Silver smirks. "Tsk tsk, Little Kitling would be tell you to behave." She purrs. "But we'll drag these two to Home for the Healers."

Aiden nodded sharply. "I'll get them set up for two Realm weeks out."

"So were going to get our trunks and wands still?" Harry asked

"And books," Mariposa added wanting to know as much as she could to do the best she could.

"The books will wait for our return, but the rest will be grabbed today." Silver admitted. "And before you pout, there will be a library visit at Home."

Mariposa felt her eyes light up with excitement Libraries were just as good as book stores even if they had to be returned. "Yay Library!" she said excitedly.

With that the twins stood up and took Silver's hands ready to continue about their day.

Silver shook her head as she smiled and took the twins back to the main alleyway. They would go get the trunks first since they were on the main alleyway. So the trio made their way to Trusty Treasures where the twins had their orders waiting.

When they arrived Primrose looked up excitedly as she smiled at the twins. "Welcome welcome, I had a wonderful time getting everything ready for your trunks and school bags, are ready to see the finished products?" she said talking very excitedly and fast.

Mariposa smiled and nodded. "Of course and seeing a demonstration is always a good way to make sure everything is good and safe," she said as she saw Primrose nod and go carefully pull out the four pieces.

"Now like i explained before compartment 3 fits in with compartment 4 being the wixen space for a small living area," Primrose said as she turned the trunk through each section she opened the 4th compartment then showed the ladder into the space. "now I can show you the area inside if you are ready?" she said

Silver stilled as the owner was bubbling along as they all entered the trunk and even stated that a specific door would allow her to visit Harry as long as the other door was unlocked.

Watching as the tour went on Silver realized that the twins were planning for a place they could be safe before they had found her. She was so glad that she had gotten guardianship of the twins. She would not let the twins down and feel the need to use these apartments while they lived with her.

"This is exactly what we were looking for thank you so much," Mariposa said as she smiled she had been excited to be able to fill the library in the trunk. "These will be very happily used," Mariposa said as she put her school bag across her body and smiled as it rested softly against her hip.

"don't forget to tap the nameplates to shrink and resize the trunks," primrose said as she watched the twins shrink them and place them in the outer pocket of their bags.

"Have a great rest of your summer and let me know if you need any adjustments to the trunks," Primrose said as she saw the twins and Silver off to go collect their wands.

Harry was excited as they returned to Druid's Grove and walked to Wicked Wands. Silver tilted her head as she walked in with the twins.

"One moment I'll be right with you just finishing a few details," Nova said from the back room.

"Alright, We will wait," Harry called back. He went and found a place to sit. It didn't take Nova much longer before they came out with two wands laid down on a soft cloth.

"Alright now, Harry your wand is the left one," Nova stated as she held the tray up. When Harry touched the wand he felt a surge of Magic and the wand felt perfect in his hand.

"Wand is 11 inches, Cedar and Aspen with Horned Serpent horn core," Nova said as she smiled at Harry.

Nova turned to Mariposa next and presented the wand to her on the tray. Mariposa was excited as she saw the deep colored woods shinning up at her. She put her hand on the handle and felt the magic wrapping around her like a hug. She raised her wand and smiled.

"10 1/2 inches Ebony and Elder wood with a hound tooth core," Nova said to Mariposa.

"What kind of hound?" Silver asked as Nova had announced Mariposa's wand composition.

"Well, its a hellhound tooth," Nova stated as she looked at Silver.

Silver raised an eyebrow as she then asked a follow up question. "Who's tooth was it?"

Nova looked at Silver, "I don't know but my Grandpa does," she said as she went to call her grandpa to the front of the shop.

An older gentleman walked out into the shop and knelt before Silver. "My lady Silver, an honor it is to talk with you, I heard you might have a question reguarding a core?" he asked

"Stand up, yes a hellhound tooth was used in this little one's wand and i was curious whos it is," Silver said

"Ah That would be Thorne's tooth, I thought it odd that he had lost a tooth that was core material, he normally doesn't give such things away," the Grandfather said as he looked at Silver.

Silver sighed as she heard this which just gained a grin from the grandfather. "I take it he didn't fill out the right paperwork about a lost tooth?" he asked

"Not sure bit I will have to find out, even if it's in good hands now," Silver said.

Mariposa was confused as she watched Silver interact with Nova's Grandfather.

"Now if you feel the magic drop in your wands do come back it might be time to add the second cores at that point. These wands expressed a want for second cores eventually so it's going to be as your magic grows," Nova explained

"Wicked," Harry said

"I will make note of that," Mariposa added as they looked to Silver.

"We should get back to the inn now, you two have had a very eventful day already." Silver stated as she stepped away from the grandfather. "Don't be a stranger Lady Silver, you are always welcome to come talk shit about anyone with me if you want," The grandfather offered as the trio left to return to the Inn.

Silver Smirked "I first got to talk shit with Aiden,"

"Well i could come talk with both of you if you want," the grandfather offered grinning back.

Silver shook her head and left with the twins before they started to ask Questions she didn't want to attempt to answer.
