Back to Business

"You're the King of Goblin Nation!!?" Harry asked in disbelief. Although he knew it from the vow, he still found it hard to believe.

"Yes" Ragnok stated, a smirk on his face. Harry took a deep breath to calm down.

"Now about this Horcrux, where is it?" Ragnok demands once Harry is calmer. Harry cringes at the harsh tone but answers him.

"Bellatrix Lestrange vault, be careful the objects are cursed to burn and multiply. It's Helga's Hufflepuff Cup" Harry says, remembering the horrible experience.

Ragnok gets up and quickly strides towards the office door. Opening it and snarling something in gobbledegook. Harry tries not to flinch at the angry words that Ragnok speaks but thinks he fails when the door is slammed shut. Thankfully, Ragnok doesn't see.

"Now we shall see if you are trustworthy" Ragnok states sitting down. Harry can't help but frown but stops considering all the trust Ragnok has shown.

It only takes about ten minutes for a goblin to knock on the door. Ragnok gets up, speaking in guttural tones that soon turn into snarls. After a minute the door is slammed shut once again.

+15REP with Ragnok for being truthful!
(27/0)

+100 REP with Ragnok for telling him about the Horcrux in his Bank!
(127/5)

"It seems you are correct. The cup is being cleansed as we speak" Ragnok states as he sits down. Harry dismisses the screens surprised at how much REP he got with Ragnok. This was much easier than breaking into the bank.

"Now that we have concluded that nasty piece of business... Let us get back to why you called this meeting in the first place" Ragnok says looking at Harry expectantly. Harry frowned trying to remember why... oh... so much had happened, Harry forgot why he asked to see a manager.

"I have never got a letter from Gringotts, nobody has reached out and I suspect that my account manager does not have my best interest in mind... I could be wrong, I don't know but I didn't want to meet with them in case I was right" Harry says rushing it out as fast as he could. Ragnok frowns, deeply, before getting up and opening one of the golden filing cabinets.

When he has what he is looking for he brings it over to the table and slides it to Harry with a quill. Harry eyes the quill in suspicion, it wasn't the one on the table and honestly, he was pretty sure it was a blood quill.

"This is a form stating that you would want someone to audit your account, that is a blood quill, you only need to write your initials otherwise it is a much more painful experience. A bloo—" Ragnok says, starting to explain when Harry cuts him off.

"I know what a blood quill is" Harry says almost sneering at the quill.

"Right well, read and sign the document if it is to your liking, I will be back shortly" Ragnok says nodding at Harry, who returns the nod, and leaves the room with a smirk. Harry watches the door for a minute before looking at the parchment.

Reading it, it was pretty simple to follow. Nothing like what Uncle Vernon complained about. There were no hidden meanings that he could find. Just plain and simple. Harry continued to read it until Ragnok came back.

"You haven't signed it yet?" Ragnok asked confused.

"Will Dumbledore be notified of this?" Harry asked, trying to sound confident but honestly he doesn't know what he was doing but he knows he doesn't want Dumbledore finding out before he is ready.

"Ahh... are you not taking up your lordship rings yet?" Ragnok asked as he placed a medium sized wooden box on the table. Harry didn't see it at first but the box was lovely, with bronze latches and corner pieces.

"I don't want Dumbledore to know anything until I am ready" Harry said, looking at Ragnok for his reaction. Ragnok gave Harry a snarled grin showing all his teeth. Harry admits to himself, that if he didn't know Ragnok liked him a little that would have terrified him.

"Ready for what may I ask" Ragnok sounds almost giddy with anticipation.

"I am going to make him pay for everything,  drag his name and titles through the mud, make sure everyone knows what he had done and will do and then I will either demand he be kissed or let him rot in Azkaban. I will make him regret the day he went against House Potter" Harry promises, a hatred in his voice that surprised Ragnok.

"Until then I need time, recourses, allies and evidence" Harry grumbles. slouching down as if defeated before taking a deep breath and sitting up straight.

"I already died for him once, I won't do it again!" Harry sneers. Ragnok raises an eyebrow at him but still has that terrifying grin.

"The best course of action would be to become a lord, the House of Dumbledore is not powerful but without your titles, he would have sway over you and as your magical guardian, legal or not, he can decide everything about you, down to the clothes you were" Ragnok explains, pointedly looking at Harry's rags that he calls clothes.

"When will Dumbledore be notified that I am no longer under his control" Harry asked with a frown. He did want to claim his rings but he needed at least a few days to get things in motion.

"The last statement was sent out two days ago, another one won't be sent for three months. Unless he comes to personally take money from your account, which is unlikely, you have about twenty-seven days before he notices any stopped transfers, if there are any... If he is not stealing from you then you have three months" Ragnok says.

Harry thinks over it, either way, he most likely has a month before shit hits the fan... Harry doesn't know if he is stealing from him though...

"Is there any way I can get a bank statement?" Harry asks. Ragnok grins and goes to the golden filing cabinets and searches for some documents.

"Sign this and I will be your temporary account manager, don't worry, your current account manager won't know unless we change something" Ragnok states, handing Harry another document.

This one was simple too, with no hiden clauses or traps that he could see. Harry eyes the blood quill, glaring at it before picking it up. He can almost feel the magic hum but unlike Dumbridge, it didn't feel wrong.

Sighing, he goes to sign the document but stops before the quill can touch the parchment. What name does he write? His birth name or the one he has been going for the last thirteen years.

"Is there something wrong?" Ragnok asks when Harry looks at him.

"I don't know what name to use, my birth or Harry" Harry cringes at the sad tone in his voice.

"Do you want to be who you were born to be or who you have been moulded to be?" Ragnok asked. When put like that he felt stupid for even asking the question. Taking another look at the parchment he sighed before writing H.L.P-B.

Harry looked at his initials, surprised about how freeing it was to break away from Harry Potter, even if it was only initials... it was a start and Harry... no... Hadrian was going to get justice for what was done to him.

Harry Potter may have defeated Voldemort, a few times, but Hadrian is going to annihilate Voldemort. Hadrian is going to be strong and face his tormentors. Hadrian is not going to let everyone dictate what, where and who. I am going to live, I won't let my parent's death go in vain this time!

Hadrian slid the parchment over to Ragnok, who glanced at the document, nodded and then filed it in a different golden cabinet. Ragnok waited and Hadrian blinked in surprise when the gold cabinet opened on its own. Ragnok took a parchment from it and then placed it in the first cabinet.

"Now that the document has been filed and processed we can get down to business" Ragnok says still going through the filing cabinet only stopping when he pulls out two files.

"This is a form to see your statement history, this is consent form for a medical exam... standard for wizen wanting to take up lordships or heirships, it's just to make sure they are not under compulsions... plus we take care of our clients, if they prove to be beneficial to the Goblin Nation" Ragnok says as he puts the two documents down beside the one for the audit.

Merlin, I didn't even think of the compulsions...Looking up Hadrian sees Ragnok with a raised eyebrow, Ragnok pointedly looks at the documents. Hadrian flushes a bright red before reading the parchment. Like the audit, it looks straightforward and simple, with no hidden dangers.

"How come this isn't covered in legal terms I have no clue about?" Hadrian can't help but ask. Ragnok snorts before answering.

"While goblins are a warrior race we are only second to the fey when it comes to the truth. While some fey can't lie, we can but we abhor it. We are simple and to the point, time is money after all" Ragnok explains. Harry nods and looks back to the documents. Picking up the blood quill, he writes his initials on each parchment before gathering them and handing them to Ragnok.

"I will get a runner goblin to escort you to the medical ward, while you are getting scanned I will start an audit and get a statement starting from the time your parents died to now" Ragnok stated as he headed to the large wooden doors.

Opening the door he calls something out in his native language, a goblin appears out of nearly nowhere and bows to Ragnok... his king... keep forgetting about that only for it to knock the wind out of me when I do.

"Luggor will bring you to the medical ward" Ragnok says pulling Hadrian from his thoughts. He looks at the goblin, and focuses.

Luggor
Goblin| Level: 97| (0/0)

Hadrian after reading the window, dismisses it and gets up from the chair he was sitting in.  He kinda wishes he drank more water but was worried about having to go to the bathroom.

Hadrian walks towards the goblin, once they out of the office and the door closed, Luggor takes off in a fast paced sprint. Harridan has to run to keep up, he forgot how slow he was with short legs.

After a few twists and turns, Luggor, finally stops outside a door. Hadrian, slightly panting stops for a minute to calm his breathing... damn he was unfit, and he ran from Dudley and his gang.

"Through this door is the Medical Ward" Luggor states before turning and sprinting somewhere else. Hadrian watches him go until he can't see him any more and then turns to the door.

Unlike the office door, this was a stone archway with golden doors and some type of red gem handles... possible ruby?

Hadrian sighed, he couldn't put off going in any longer. Standing up straight he takes a deep breath and walks towards the golden door. He pauses for a second, hesitant to disrupt what was happening behind those doors. Licking his dry lips he raises his hand and knocks.

Something in Gobbledegook gets called out. Hadrian hesitates again but reaches out to the red gleaming knob and turns it.

Inside is quiet, surprisingly slow...  There are six beds, four on the far wall and two closer to the door. To his right is a receptionist-like desk full of scrolls and parchment. Ink jars and quills are neatly placed in the corner. Everything looks neat and organised.

The floor looked like stone but was softer than it should be, the walls were stone too but there were runes scattered around. Some above the beds, others placed randomly; at least to him. The ceiling was high with murals and more chandlers.

"I am Algrot, the Healer in charge of this ward. Are you here for a scanning?" Algrot asked. Hadrian flinched at the goblin who came out of nearly nowhere. He opened his mouth to answer but snapped it shut when he looked at the goblin. The goblin was female. She looked young, had her hair tied back in a ponytail, her ears were smaller than her counterparts and she was actually cute.

"Ye—es" Hadrian stuttered out when Algrot raised a small thick eyebrow. He blushed, looking down he saw that Algrot was wearing a long white dress with a royal green apron. Algrot was also wearing a strange belt that had little pockets that held a single vial of something, what? Hadrian had no idea. Looking back up he sees the floating window above her head.

Algrot
Goblin| Level: 158| (0/0)

"Well stand still, it should only take a minute" Algrot states as she waves a delicate clawed hand. Hadrian staying still watches as one of the parchments from the desk gently flies over. Algrot snatches it out of the air and snaps her clawed hand. The parchment glows and a quill appears out of nowhere and starts writing.

Hadrian starts worrying when Algrot frowns at the parchment, her brow creased and a slight growl is released when it finally stops writing.

"Well Mr. Potter-Black, it seems you will need a lot done today... First, we need to remove the binds, compulsions, potions and curses placed on you, then perhaps the Glamour... No.. that first, might mess with the ritual...Then you will need a strict potion regime. Vaccinations...You will also need additional help afterwards" Algrot states as she re-reads the medical scan. Hadrian blinks in shock as she continues talking.

"Do you consent to a healing ritual to remove your binds and compulsions?" Algrot asks as she hands him the medical scan.

Hadrian looks over the scan anger boiling through his veins the more he reads.

"I consent" Hadrian hisses, almost speaking parseltongue he was so angry. Re-reading it he still finds it hard to believe... Dumbledore will pay for this.
