Prologue
Life in general had never been easy for Y/n Grindelwald. Her father going to Azkaban when she were only five year old and the brutal murder of her mother at only 8 years old.
Being stripped away from the only people in her life she ever knew all because of her father's stupidity.
At the time she didn't understand any of this and just thought of it as unfair. She hated her father for it too.
But in all honesty it was only to protect Y/n everyone that once loved the girl so deeply had to turn their back on her even if it broke their hearts nearly as much as it broke Y/n.
They even needed to go so far as removing Y/n's memories of them, only leaving her with a empty feeling in her chest, the memories of her parents and a necklace with a secret picture of all of them together, happy as a family should be.
Bouncing from foster home to foster home. The next one worse then the other until she found one that was kind of nice or that was a least what she thought.
But now I'm getting ahead of myself.
Y/n have long curly black hair that almost reach just above bottom but to the half way down her back when she have it up in a high ponytail that people would mostly see her in anyway.
Her skin is pale with her emerald green eyes that sparked in the sunlight.
Her whole life by various people everyone told her that she was a copy and paste of her mom. She had her looks and her personality.
The only thing she had after her father was his last name.
As a kid she was known to be bubbly happy girl, that could make anyone she wanted smile and she knew that so it became her life mission as a kid to make everyone smile.
Just the presence of the girl could light the mood up.
Therefore by most people she was called sunlight.
But the older she got, the smile on her face became less and less present for each day that went by.
Many people now that knew the girl then would admit to her being a shell of the person that she used to be.
At this point she had honestly just stopped trying. Every person she met, hurt her deeper and deeper than the last. They all stripped away her reasons to be happy.
And why should she be happy, she was practically a orphan. Her mom dead, and her father taken away from her too.
She used to write to him when she was younger hoping that he would answer bit with every letter she sent in secret, they all just got returned back without a answer.
All to the point where she just stopped trying to reach him- to maybe have a relationship with at least one of her biological parents.
Seeing that Y/n now we're going from foster home to foster home it was never stable enough for her to be allowed at Hogwarts.
Or at least that was what each foster family told her, at the merge mention of the school for witches and wizards.
So she was home thought.
Reading every book that she could get her hands on about all the magical creatures, spells- anything about the wizard world.
But after one special event filled with terror, trauma and so much more Y/n's life once again turned upside down.
And not necessarily for the better.
