Regulus had loved James forever or at least that's how it felt.
His brother's best friend was the only thing he could ever look at.
The thing was thought that he looked back.
James looked at him
he looked at him like he loved him back
So they started dating.
everything was perfect
Until it wasn't.
Brown guilty eyes and little white lies
James was a horrible liar. He’d always been one. Regulus thought it probably had to come from the fact he never had a reason to lie.
“Who are you writing to?” He had asked him one night they were hanging out in his dorm.
“oh, just my lab partner” He had answered
Yeah, I played dumb but I always knew

Lily.
Lily was James' lab partner.
Regulus knew that. Did he find it weird that James didn't say her name?

He remembers wanting to throw up.
He remembers the way Pandora looked surprised and turned to look at him with eyes full of pity after hearing the words Evan uttered.
