Betrayal
The next morning, Dazai woke up before the sun. It was still pitch black when he received the call from Mori. Now, he was on his way to "see" Shirase and Yuan, definitely not stalk them. The day was boring. They didn't talk much, and when they did, Dazai paid real close attention.
The first to talk was Yuan, "so... is it today we are doing that thing to Chuuya? I feel kind of bad, but I guess that is what happens to traitors."
Shirase stopped walking before he responded, "We can't feel bad. Dazai, a port mafia member, came to us asking where Chuuya was. He betrayed us and we can't let that stand. When Dazai was asking for him, he mentioned that 'the boss' was going to be very upset about this. What else could that mean other than Chuuya was late to something that the port mafia boss was having him do? He is in cahoots with them." Shirase said it very fast but firmly. Yuan took a step forward and Shirase followed.
"You're right. Chuuya is betraying us and that is unacceptable. After everything we have gone through together too!" They both continued walking, and that is when Dazai knew he succeeded. Chuuya was getting forced out of the sheep.
Later, when Dazai saw Chuuya, he followed him as he knew that Chuuya was going to where the rest of the sheep were. The whole scene was normal for a port mafia member. Chuuya was stabbed, a knife in his abdomen. He wasn't bleeding too much, but once that knife is pulled out, there will be about 3 seconds before the blood pours. For a split second, Dazai would have said Chuuya looked like a deer in headlights.
After everything went down, Dazai (and co. --his so called bodyguards--), went to get Chuuya to join him. He took away all Chuuya's options and left him with nothing. His only choice would be to join the port. When they found Chuuya, he was on a big boulder by the ocean.
"Chuuya Nakahara, nice to see you again!" Dazai started in a tone that could be described as an attempt at a cheerful intimidation.
"Fuck off pisshead, not wanting to see your shitty face again," Chuuya said while pulling the knife out of his core, hissing in pain.
"My offer stands to join the mafia. Think of the benefits, the salary, your development, your accommodation. The mafia has a lot to offer to you, and we know it is the other way around too." Dazai continued without faulting, even after Chuuya's remark.
"Why would I join the fucking mafia of all places? I don't think so- I will do just fine on my own, thank you very much," Chuuya, sarcastically, told Dazai. He was still in immense pain, it was obvious by his voice, body, and his stop when talking.
"Chuuya, come back to the mafia and we will treat your wound. We also know you have no where else to go! You have hit rock bottom, the god damn obsidian! You have no one to turn to, no resources, no supplies, you only have yourself and the streets. If you don't try to climb back up, you have no chance." Dazai was serious now, he was even shouting some at Chuuya. "When you join the mafia, you will shoot up in the ranks fast, you will be respected and feared by many. You can't possibly decline our offer now. So get your ass off the ground and to the port mafia headquarters!"
"Fine you asshole, just stop this from hurting and shut up! I guess this would mean I'm in the port mafia now. I'm stuck with a bandaged bastard," Chuuya retorted.
"What did you just call me shortstack?" Dazai was pissed off at his stubborness.
"I'm still growing, stop using my height fuckface! Take me to the building now, this hurts like hell!" Chuuya was yelling at Dazai, he would have forgot the whole problem with the sheep by now if it wasn't for the blood gushing from his stomach onto his hand.
"I guess you can come to the headquarters now... but be presentable!" Even with Dazai by him, it would still be the mafia and you want a good first impression.
"Sure, yep, the blood makes me look real cleaned up right about now. Let's just go so I don't have to see your face for the rest of the day." Chuuya was so tired of Dazai, and they had only been talking for a few minutes! It would definitely be exhausting and chaotic if they did everyday, oh wait, they do.
