Chapter 2
James was going to his first day of his 6th year at Hogwarts today. He is glad as his house had felt slightly stunted since he ca- tried to come out although that might just be on his side because his parents have been acting normal and Sirius hasn't seemed to notice anything different. James on the other hand has been trying to figure out what the difference is between him and his friends coming out to his parents.
When Sirius came out he cried and James’ parents hugged him hard.
When James came out he nearly cried and his parents told him it was a phase.
Maybe James just wasn't worth-
James’ thoughts were cut off by Sirius “I can't believe we're sixth years now”
“I can't believe you and James made it to sixth year without being expelled” Remus said slightly fondly as he sat down on the train and kissed his head.
“There was no way me or James would have gotten expelled we are perfect” Sirius replied sweetly
“Prongs more than you” Peter said laughing not knowing James hated being called perfect. The rest of the train trip to Hogwarts was spent how the rest of that year was supposed to go joking and playing games together.

It had been 3 months since the school year had started and Regulus was in the astronomy tower as he usually was at night when he heard footsteps he turned around and saw his replacement. “Baby Black” Potter said, though he didn't sound as happy as usual. (Not that Regulus would notice as he hated him no matter what Barty says.)
“Don’t call me that,” Regulus replied sharply, turning back around. “What are you doing here? Don't you have friends or something?”
“Or something” Potter says as if there is an inside joke with himself. He is still standing at the entrance of the tower “ I was here to stargaze, what else would I be doing here?”
“I don't know”
“You're awfully close to that edge baby black” If Regulus wasn't smarter he would say Potter sounded concerned.
“Why would you care, Potter?” He heard footsteps as Potter walked and sat next to him near the edge. “Go away”
“No can do Reggie” His voice quieter than it was.
“Why not?”
“Someone's got to make sure you don't accidentally fall”
“If I fall it won't be by accident Potter” He said before he could think about it..
Potter looked down thoughtfully “But then it won't work”
“What?” Regulus asked.
“If you throw something or someone off the tower on purpose it just bounces back up.” Potter took off one of his shoes as he talked and threw it off the tower and it fell a bit before bouncing back up.
“It might work with a person,” Regulus whispered.
“It doesn't”
“But it mi-”
“It doesn't” Potter sounded so sure of himself when he said it, putting his shoe back on.
“How do you know?” Regulus asked as Potter stood up. ”Who did you see-?” He cut himself off knowing how disappointed his mother would be in him for how he is acting, he straightens posture up at the thought.
Potter shrugs and just before leaving he replies “Maybe you need to find different questions."
