Don’t make this a thing

Draco was giddy. Smiling to himself as bit into a green apple. Thinking about how he finally got on Granger’s good side…or so he thinks. He was a good boy! She said it herself. He proved himself at the World Cup.

“Drake. You are so whipped.” Blaise interrupted his thoughts.

He hadn’t seen her on the platform but he knew somewhere on the train his witch was probably reading. He tried to ignore the fact the weasel was probably there too.

He sighed deeply, still remembering Hermione’s hands on him. So delicate. So approving. It was addicting.

Pansy walked into their compartment and sat down next to Draco.

“Just saw your girl Dray, she sneered at me without me even having to say a word. Feisty that one. I like her.” She grinned.

“She’s perfect Pans.” Draco tossed his apple to the side and laid his head on her lap. All the snakes were close. They all grew up together. They were protective of each other. Just like he was protective of Granger.

Pansy ran her hands through his hair.

“Shes just- Gods you guys will never understand. The things she does to me.”

Theo laughed. “Mate, she hates you!”

“I can convince her I’m worthy!” Draco shot up from Pansy’s lap. He could be such a baby sometimes.

“By letting her walk all over you.” Blaise was the most sane out of all of them. Draco hated his honesty sometimes.

“You’ll see. She’s mine, she just doesn’t know it yet.”

Blaise and Theo just huffed. He always said that. This was the first time he’s actually making moves.

“Have you seen Longbottom? He seems taller don’t you think?” Pansy asked. He could see a slight blush creeping up her neck like she was embarrassed to admit it.

“Don’t tell me you’ve grown soft for a Gryffindor too. How the mighty have fallen!” Theo pretended to faint.

“Fuck you Theo. I was simply asking the obvious.” She got up. “We’re arriving soon, I’m going to change.”

He was going to see his girl in a few hours. The giddiness returned. He knew this year it would be different. He finally got her.

__________

“You never told us how you stayed hidden in the loo Mione.” Harry had been nagging her ever since the incident at the World Cup.

“I used a notice me not.” She sighed deeply. More like, Draco sodding Malfoy saved her life. Saved their lives too and they weren’t even aware. But of course she couldn’t say that. It was their little secret.

She didn’t know what she would do with him. Their relationship was weird. She didn’t want him, no. She was just… grateful? Who knows. She didn’t know what she was to do with him once they were back at school.

Her decision to give into his weird fantasy was a mistake. She was driven by emotion at the time. She didn’t know how else to thank him. Now he’s expecting…something from her. Expecting what? Who knows at this point.

But she was a Gryffindor. She’ll take on this weird request. How? Well she’ll have to improvise. This year would be interesting.

Once at school she caught his eye. They seem to gleam at the sight of her. Soaking her in. A hunger in his eyes. A playful smile tugged at his lip. She looked at him blank faced. She wasn’t quite sure how to go about this weird dynamic just yet. She did know though, that her friends cannot know.

The sorting began. Students were full of energy. Something important was happening this year. Guests were arriving.

Hogwarts was to host the Triwizard Tournament. Dumbledore introduced the schools. Beautiful girls and boys in blue waltzed in. Beauxbatons. Then stomping, flashes of red and coats. Durmstrang. Well she knows who they’re getting along with.

A strange professor arrived as well. A “Mad eye Moody.” Yes this year was certainly going to be interesting.

Dinner was coming to an end and all the girls could do was gush about the beautiful boys and girls of the two schools. Hermione had no interest in these things. She decided to call it a night and got up to leave.

She caught his eye again. Calculating. Debating on whether to follow her out. She scrunched her nose and mouthed “Don’t”. He frowned.

Ugh. This was strange. She didn’t know what to do with him and she wasn’t ready to be alone or near him just yet. He will wait. She did say it was when she wanted.

At the tower she was about to get into bed when she saw a note, a rose on her bed, and a blanket.

You left it at the lake.
It no longer smells like you. -D.M

Is he serious right now. Is this how he’s going to be acting from now on? They’re not a thing!

_________

Draco was in his bed giggling to himself. He could just imagine how angry it probably made her. He paid a first year to sneak the stuff in. She probably looked so cute and flustered picking the items up.

Usually he would end the night with a good wank but tonight his mind was flooded with dreams. Granger kissing him. Laughing at his cruel jokes. Holding his hand. Running her fingers through his hair.

He would continue to be a good boy so he could earn those things.

Everyone was talking about the tournament. He could care less. He had already won a tournament for Granger’s attention. He needed nothing else.

In class he sat close by. Looking at the back of her head. Trying to catch her scent from where he was sitting. He was also occluding furiously. If anyone could see what he was imagining doing to Granger on his very desk they’d clutch their pearls.

Ever since the riot he’s been avoiding Crabbe and Goyle. They keep talking about it triumphantly and he wants to rip their faces off. Blaise advised him to not blow his cover and just stay away.

The new D.A.D.A professor was a nutter. It seemed every year another pompous lunatic came into the role. Granger stood up to him. Pansy seemed about ready to jump out of her seat for Longbottom too.

Everyone was shuffling out of the class while she was still furiously stuffing books into her bag. He waited in the corridor for her to come out.

“Fuck, Malfoy!” She was startled. He wished she was screaming that in a totally different scenario, preferably under him.

“Did you get my note.”

“Don’t ever do that again. What if someone else had seen it first?”

“But no one did.”

He loved moments like these. Back and forth. Just them. All the attention on each other.

“What do you want.”

“You of course.”

She scoffed and crossed her arms. She closed the space between them and pushed her finger into his chest.

“You’ll come to me when I say so. This is not when you want it.”

She pushed him with her finger.

“Okay.” His breath was already quickening.

She grabbed his cheek forcefully with her hand.

“Did I make myself clear.” They were face to face now, their lips almost touching. Her nails digging painfully and deliciously into his cheeks.

“Yes.” He sighed staring into her soul then down at her lips. He leaned in, his lips were practically ghosting hers.

She shoved his head away.

The dents of her finger nails painted his cheeks red with irritation. It was sure to leave marks. But he wanted to be marked by her, even if it hurts.

She crossed her arms again and turned in her feet to walk away before he could get a word out.

All his blood was rushing down to his cock.

He hopes he can catch her like this everyday.
