Girls Sleepover
It’s around 1am. The sleepover started a few hours ago, all the girls in class 77-b are in
Mahiru’s cabin. Well, all but Ibuki…
It’s at the point in the sleepover where they’ve ran out of activities to do so they’ve all just started quietly talking, playing the game of ‘Who’s going to fall asleep first’.
Chiaki is just quietly playing her video games in the corner of the room, Mahiru and Hiyoko are cuddling on Mahiru’s bed, Sonia is doing her skincare at Mahiru’s desk and the rest of the girls are resting on the blow-up mattresses Mahiru provided them.
“I still can’t believe she didn’t even show up…” Mahiru complains. “Seriously it’s just ignorant. She could have atleast told us she wasn’t coming! It totally messed up my planning!”
“We should just be glad that ugly loud bitch isn’t here!” Hiyoko cheers whilst she plays with Mahiru’s necklace “If she’s making you feel bad then why do you even want her fatass here?”
“It’s very unlike her isn’t it?” Peko remarks. “Ibuki is usually always at meetings like this”
“She is isn’t she?” Akane says. “She always wants to be the ‘life of the party’ or something… strange she isn’t here.”
“M-maybe she f-fell asleep.” Mikan suggests.
“Ibuki falling asleep so early? That’d be like me falling asleep early, it’s just unlikely.” Chiaki shrugs.
“Perhaps she’s with Kazuichi” Sonia giggles as she lathers moisturiser to her soft pale skin. “I mean, it’d make sense wouldn’t it? They recently started dating, maybe she’s spending time with him instead of us.”
“They’re dating?” Peko raises an eyebrow.
“I always thought Ibuki wasn’t exactly into guys.” Akane mentions “Also, I thought Kazuichi was into you Sonia?”
Sonia shrugs. “I think he moved on after me and Gundam started seeing eachother. And as far as I’m aware, Ibuki is bi.”
“Wait, so you’re telling me Ibuki abandoned the sleepover just so she could go see her boyfriend? That’s so messed up! See this is why I hate guys, they always ruin everything.”
“Of course that dumb slut is with her boyfriend! Disregarding all the work Mahiru put into this… it’s is so disgusting! Greasy punk no bodies is what they both are!” Hiyoko hisses
“Maybe let’s calm down girls.” Chiaki smiles, the light from her devices screen shine on her face. “I’m sure Ibuki had no ill intent. She maybe just forgot about the sleepover. Plus, we don’t even know for sure if she’s with Kazuichi. She could be ill or something. Maybe let’s just try move on and talk about something else. It’s not like shit talking her is going to bring her here.”
All the girls go quiet for a moment. Chiaki had a point. At the end of the day, they didn’t know for sure if that’s even why Ibuki wasn’t there. They felt bad for talking about her in such a way.
“I suppose you’re right…” Mahiru pouts.
“Yeah… I mean, we can’t blame her too much right?” Akane says “I mean, if Nekomaru asked me to stay over for the night I probably wouldn’t say no…”
“I s-suppose she c-could just be sick… She did look a bit pale today.” Mikan mumbles.
“Yeah you have a point Chiaki… we shouldn’t have been talking about Ibuki in that way.” Peko sighs. “And I guess if Fuyuhiko were to propose a similar offer, I too would have a hard time declining it.”
“Shall we ask her about it tomorrow?” Sonia asks.
“Definitely.” Mahiru says. “I mean, she still bailed on us. We deserve to know why.”
“Let’s ask her at breakfast then!”
Just as Sonia said that, a sound of snoring began to echo in the room.
Each of the girls look around to try find the source of the noise when they see it, Hiyoko soundly sleeping on Mahiru’s chest.
“Awhh.. You guys are the cutest!” Akane smiles.
Mahiru looks down at the sleeping Hiyoko on her chest. It feels nice knowing Hiyoko felt so comfortable with Mahiru.
“Thanks.” Mahiru whispers. “I think this is my sign to get some sleep too… feel free to stay up. I’ll see yous in the morning!”
