Karaoke Night with the Weasleys
Summary
Percy can apparently sing. A Karaoke Night with the Weasleys is always unpredictable.

Disclaimer: I don’t know any Japanese, but you guys surely know what the Dream On meme said, right?

“Come on, Percy! Just have a little fun?” Ginny begged, breathing heavily after singing a song from the muggle world.

They were having a Karaoke Night - a little something that Hermione and Harry prepared because they wanted to see if anyone could sing. Ginny finished singing Fireworks, by Katie Perry, and it was the best sounding one so far. Fred and George Weasley sang Luck Runs Out, by Jorge Rivea-Herrans. Even Bill and Charlie gave it a try with Ron. Harry and Hermione just finished their songs. Luna Lovegood gave it a try, and so did  Fleur Delacour, who sang one of the most famous French Songs: Dernière danse, by Indila. “I don’t think I need to -” Percy started before his siblings interrupted him.

“You must!” Fred said, with his twin brother agreeing.

“Come on - you can’t be THAT boring!” George interjected.

“Please?” Ginny begged.

“I’m having second thoughts on this - I’m not sure he can really sing,” Bill stated, getting glares from his sibling, before he put his arms in a surrendering motion and backed away.

“Fine. . . ,” Percy gave in, sighing. “I guess there’s no escaping this time.”

“YES!” Fred and George shouted, hive-fiving each other. “Come on now!” They dragged Percy from the couch and made him stand up next to his roommate of seven years - Oliver Wood - and Lee Jordan, Fred’s boyfriend. Lee gave Percy a microphone to hold, and Oliver gave him a thumbs up. Fred gave Harry and Hermione a thumbs up, Harry grinned, and Hermione helped pick out the music. Dream On, by Aerosmith , was now playing.

The intro was long, so it gave Percy time to prepare himself before the actual song came on. Percy got his own verse when Oliver and Lee teamed up to leave Percy singing. (Oliver and Lee finished their verse together with Percy and left him to the rest.)

Sing with me, sing for the year,

Sing for the laughter, and sing for the tear:

Sing with me, if it’s just for today.

Maybe tomorrow, the good lord will take you away!

“I take back what I said,” Bill said, actually shocked that his younger brother could sing even without Oliver and Lee.

“Did you just leave me singing that part?!” Percy asked, feeling betrayal from Oliver and Lee, who were just grinning as the music continued with just the guitar playing.

“Yes, we did,” Lee grinned.

“Now that was a good singing voice you have there, Perce,” Oliver said, winking.

“Oh, hush you,” Percy scolded him, rolling his eyes.

“No flirting with our brother!” George shouted at Oliver, which earned laughs from their family members and friends.

The lyrics soon then came back on, and the three of them continued singing:

Yeah, sing with me, sing for years!

Sing for the laughter, and sing for the tear.

Sing with me, if it’s just for today.

Maybe tomorrow, the good lord will take you away!

More guitar music was playing, hyping the three boys and the rest of the Weasley Family, the Jordans, the Lovegoods, and the Delacours.

Dream on, Dream on, Dream on -

Dream until your dreams come true.

Dream on, Dream on, Dream on -

Dream until your dreams come through.

[Music continued for a bit longer] “Goodness, they’re at it!” Luna said, smiling to herself.

“I knew Percy could sing!” Ginny said, earning a glare from her older brother, who was about to continue to sing.

“You did not!” he replied before the lyrics started again.

"Did too!" Ginny shouted at him over the loud music.

Dream on, Dream on,

Dream on, Dream on - [insert Percy’s voice going into a voice crack]

Dream on, Dream on, Dream on -

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhh! All three Gryffindor boys screamed into their mics, leaving their families speechless, but their mouths dropped on the floor when Percy added something in Japanese while on his knees and then finished off with another scream.  “RAHHHHHHHHhhhhhhH!” Then, Percy collapsed onto the floor, breathing heavily after the scream. Sing with me, sing for the tear – The music was still on, but Oliver and Lee stopped to take a look at Percy.

“Did we kill him?” Lee asked worriedly.

“I hope not. . . ,” Oliver replied, still looking down at him. He was actually shocked that Percy knew Japense – or some random language he just spoke.

“Bed - now,” Percy replied, lifting his hand before dropping it dramatically. “And water, too.”
