Aethers PoV
I follow the rest of my House to a painting (Its not cannon, sue me.) one of the proffesors speaks. “I will now tell you the passcode. You must not tell anybody and when you enter the common room you have to make sure nobody is lingering. Am I clear?” She says.
“Yes m’am.” I say along with others and she nods.
“The password is, We Shall Not Loose Hope.” She says the painting opening behind her. “Now follow me in and I will get your room assignments and your skedual.“ She says. The password is ironic in my opinion considering that I am not in the same house of either of my sisters, my honorary sister, my aunt, or my boyfriend. I almost regret coming here only to not be able to achieve my goals as easy, key word almost. I follow the crowd past the painting wondering what is happening since Lumine and Xiao are in the same House. I see couches and chairs and it look comfy, it for some reason reminds me of the Jade Chamber. I sit on one of the chairs and see an orange haired person on the chair next to mine who reminds me of, wait what was his name? Ah Ron. I realize I'm staring.
“Hello, do you need something?” She asks rolling her eyes.
“Uhm…I uh sorry I didn't mean to stare you just remind me of someone.” I say. That felt like the most embarrassing conversation ever.
”Who?” She asks. “And I swear if you say Ron, Fred, or Gorge I will actually be pissed the fuck of.” She says. I gulp back because Ron was what I was going to say.
“It is actually Ron, how did you know?” I ask as she groans.
”He’s my horrible brother.” She says. “Im Ginny Weasley by the way.” The ginger says.
”Oh…Also he didn't seem that bad.” I say.
”Thats exactly what Hermionie and Harry think and I swear it’s not good. Do you know them? Also I mean have you met them?” She asks.
”Uhm yeah.” I respond. If this guy is bad for my sister despite only meeting her 1 time I will really want to warn her but she probably would not listen because Ron is her friend.
“Oh, what do you think of them?” She asks.
”They are cool.” I say.
”Anyways, whats your name?” She asks.
”Aether Star. I am one of the exchange students.” I say. She nods.
”I thought I knew who you were. Anyways.” She extends a hand to me, “Would you like to be friends?” She asks. I shake her hand.
”Yeah. It sounds fun.” I say. She grins.
”Yeah. Also again just a warning, don’t trust Ron.” She says seriously. I nod and she goes back to her confident and care free self. She seems like a nice friend to have. I wonder again how Lumine, Xiao, Celestia, and Paimon are doing.

Xiao’s Pov
”You should stay away from my brother you stupid adeptus.” Lumine says. I roll my eyes because I 1 can not chose who I love, and 2 will never leave Aether unless he wants me to.
”Or what, if anything you should stay away from him. At least I didn't make him go through all of Teyvat to find me and when he did I just leave him for something that is unsaveable.” I say. She scoffs.
”I was going to meet him at the end of his jurney. Also K’hanria can be revived!” She says. I notice people staring at us because we are speaking in the Teyvatian language yelling at each other. I hear people start to whisper. I decide to yell at her more, she started it after all.
”You really believe that bullshit. I swear to Morax you need to shut the actual fuck up. I don’t give two shits on whether you want to save your presious destroyed K’hanria but you hurt Aether and you are a piece of crap.” I say leaving her astounded. I don’t think anything until she slaps me and leaves. I am tempted to use my ability to teleport to get over there but I know Aether would be pissed off so instead I switch to English and humiliate her. “That was weak, I was expecting more from you since your Aethers sister but wow. You are weak in the mind, restraint, and strength. Come on, I know you are able to fight me. Now fight me right like the bitch you are.” I say. (I don’t give two flying fucks if he is not being canon rn! In this he is different for Aether trust 😭) She turns around and I ignore the oohs, and holy shits.
“Fine. You asked for this.” She says. She uses her wand and uses that to summon her sword like Celestia taught us to do if necessary. I do the same and feel the familiar metal of my spear. She charges, I block with my polearm with the handle. I kick her away and disarm her. I get up close to whisper. “It’s like you haven’t trained in 500 years abyss princess.” People are stunned by what just happened. We put away our weapons with totally using our wands.
