We love Strawberrys!
“So Éric how are you doing?” I ask looking into his eyes. Eric smiles and gets all mumbly. “I am quite alright…” His face turns a shade of bright red. Gray hits him and rolls his eyes. His curly golden locks bounce and I can see multiple girls pointing and chatting about him. I shoot them a small but sure glare and they stop quickly looking back at their plates.
We head to our corridors to go and unpack our luggage; Emelia and I have a dormitory with two other girls our age. One is a cute girl with straight black hair and brown eyes and has a loud full of attitude voice, her name is Tralivia Austin Child, when she was boasting at the beginning of the table about some nonsense about her diet and I caught one of the girls around her saying her name.
“Tralivia, can I ask who your parents are?”
“How very rude of you to ask! You should already know! MY MOTHER IS A VERY WELL-KNOWN WITCH! I’ll have you know that my mother dated a very charming boy in her fifth year! You know… He was the famous Harry Potter!”
“OH, MY DUMBLEDORE!” Emelia gasps.
“Is your mother Cho Chang the one who married the slug -no offence- of a muggle?” Emelia says with her head tilted and a sly smile peeking out.
“HOW RUDE!” “I’LL HAVE YOU KNOW THAT I HAVE A GREAT FATHER! Even though he drinks every five seconds and has a huge beer belly…BUT HE WAS VERY HANDSOME BEFORE I WAS BORN”
Nargle jumps on my lap and purrs as Tralivia and Emelia fight, I cover my ears and wave to the other girl who also doesn’t look like she talks much. I try to remember her name, then it clicks Eenid Willows, I was almost positive that she is the one who cried after some Slytherin called her a mudblood.
“Guys it’s late let’s just go to bed. Please?” Eenid asks.
“And just who are you?” Tralivia asks with an attitude.
“I’m Eenid, why?”
“Eenid? Who would be crazy enough to name their child Eenid?” Eenid dips her head and her beautiful strawberry blond hair drapes over her hands.
“Hm? Answer ME? Who?” Tralivia kept questioning her. I stood up and hugged Eenid while holding the urge to kick her.
“BLOODY HELL TRALIVIA! SHUT UP!” “I’m half tempted to call our head of house, Professor Hagrid!” Emelia spits in her face.
“Oh no what is he going to do! I DON’T CARE!” Emelia runs and tells Professor Hagrid, and he took Tralivia out of our dormitory and brought in another girl from a different dormitory.
“This is Zeir May Rogers.” Hagrid helped her with her luggage. Zeir had shoulder length black hair with a plaid bow, hazel eyes and lots of freckles.
“This is Emelia Dame Brown, Eenid Flairy Willows and Magenta Winter Lovegood.” Hagrid smiles at me and waves but keeps a calm demeanor.
Eenid then tells us that the name Eenid is her grandmother’s name and to call her Flairy. Every time I hear “Flairy” I think of a fairy with bright blond hair put into a bun and blue eyes with green wings.
My clock shows 10:30 and we are all in our beds, Flairy is chatting with Emelia and Zeir is sound asleep while I just lay in bed while reading Mum’s old article about “Where, how to find and not get bitten by Crumple-Horned Snorckacks.”
I hear Emelia and Flairy fall asleep while I slide out of bed, turn off the lamp and climb back up and lay back down to close my eyes.
The sun rises, almost as though someone was giving you a warm, bright, starlight hug.
