Everything Left Unsaid

Her life is crumbling around her. What she did was wrong, Of course, she knew that, but Jacob had been so happy without worrying. Of course Newt had seen right through it, and of course Jacob hadn't been angry with her. He should have been, Perhaps that's why she had called him a coward and pushed him away. She should have told him then, even if she knew she didn't deserve him.

She was scared, so she went to the one person she always went to when she was scared, the one person she always trusted, Tina. She would tell Tina she was right all along, but it had gone wrong there, too.

Tina wasn't there, not officially, at least.

So Queenie stood there on the busy street for a while, feeling completely alone, completely lost. She didn't know anyone in Paris, or at least she had no way of finding people she knew. She stared blankly in front of her, holding her umbrella, thunder rumbled in the distance, it would be raining soon. She didn't care, she couldn't. Everything was just too much, Everyone's thoughts rang in her head, too loud, far too loud. Until...

"Could we at least stop for coffee or-"

Was that... Jacob? No it couldn't be, Could it? "Not now, Jacob." Newt? "Chocolat chaud or... Just for a second?...I don't know" "This way. Come on." "Pain au chocolat? Half a croissant and a bonbon?" "This way." Her mind immediately started racing, What where Jacob and Newt doing in Paris? Nonetheless, she began walking towards the voices of Newt and Jacob. She had to find him. She had to make this right.

"Jacob!" She cried walking down the ally from which she'd heard his voice she ran into a busy street filled with grim looking people all wearing dark clothing. No Jacob. Not a single sign. "Jacob?" Her voice more this time, more desperate. They voices continued in her head, something she could never stop from happening no matter how much she tried.

It was raining quite heavily now, she didn't realise it had started until people where shoving her trying to make it out of the horrible weather, she made no attempt to. Merely stood there feeling completely alone, completely helpless, completely exhausted. She sank to the cold, hard curb beside her and finally... she broke. The voices in her head were getting louder and louder by the second. She clutched her ears to her head as if that would help stop the hundreds of voices ringing, screaming in her head. She sobbed, hands clutched to her ears, sitting there, on the street, completely alone. Until she felt a tap on her shoulder and suddenly all the voices seemed to quiet.

"Madame?" The woman sank to the floor behind her "Vous allez bien, Madame ?" Queenie looked at the woman, and managed a small smile.
