The Life of a Wandmaker, not a really boring concept
Summary
Everyone expects the hero to save the world.....no one expected the blacksmith to change everything

I got stolen by Fate and all I got was Scary House Elves

Imagine my surprise that when I went to bed one night on a rainy Saturday  in my bedroom/library and woke up in a starry universe bending arena. Stars and galaxies abound, the sound of only my breath as it sunk in.  Did I die? Surprise number one I didn’t die but summoned in a circle of sigils. By who well it was the three robed ladies.

“We have a task for you.”

“In one such universe, it keeps dying before the Chosen One becomes an Adult”

“We tried many different ways and weaves to stop this but everything has dissolved.”

Get this, its the Harry Potter Universe. Well one of them. The main one that the TERF author wrote is set in stone and written. It’s the other ones, the ones that involve other ways to defeat the Dark Lord and who possibly else could raise the Chosen One, etc. One of these universes is actually affecting the other’s closets to it by how fast it unravels. Might damage the main one if its not stopped.

“…Okay so do you see the when or the why it’s happening?”

All three shook their heads.

“Then why am I here?”

“Summoned one who can change the fate of one, help save the world.” The three replied in unison. Oh ye gods give me a straight answer!?!

“Okay so Im changing someone’s fate, what am I getting out of the deal?”

They huddled and all I heard for twenty minutes was whispering and hushed yelling.

“You will be given some tools, what do you want to be in the world there?”

“There will be a bit leeway.”

“What is your first request?”

The first thought that popped in my head changed everything

“I want to be a Wandmaker and start a guild that challenges what it means to be one.”

Two of them looked surprised at my answer. Only the eldest was not.

“That is a interesting challenge, anything else that you would like?”

I smirked, holding up two fingers.

“Second, I would like to have a interesting and intelligent familiar. I do know how one way of magic is done but I’m gonna do some exploring and changing things around in this universe..if that is okay with you.”

The three of them nod.

“Third……before I state it, what time period am I going back to?”

The Eldest looks at the other two then to me with a sorrow in their eyes.

“During World War Two.”

Shit…..shiiiiiiit…I don't like this at all one bit. Especially if I am being sent to London during the worst of the bombing. But, it does give me an idea on how to tweak somethings..

“Dual citizenship with America and let the goblins know of this whole thing?”

The three crack a smile, the youngest then pouting

“Told you they would make a interesting choice.”

“Fine, owe you one pairing of Love.”

“Never bet on one of chaos my sisters.”

They turned to me as lights surrounded me. I close my eyes as the sounds of something rumbling is heard.

-1940 Britain-

I open my doors to see the next group of families enter. I usher them down below into the widen  underground that I had just finished furnishing with help by goblins and family magic.

“You the last lot of the town?”

A knock is heard before anyone can answer. I open it to see a familiar face.

“Mister Riddle, thought you would be at the countryside.”

“I was told to stay at the Orphanage Miss, then some of the Claws on the train said to go to you.”

“Come in, supper will be a bit cramped but enough for all. I can feel it in the air, its gonna be a rough night.”

So You May Be Wondering, why am I talking to the Future Dark Lord?  Well, everything is not what it seems….

Late 1930's

My first memory is waking up in a magical townhouse. I nearly had a fright seeing a pair of House Elves with raggedy pillow cases popping in and healing me back to health. Good news. I was in a townhouse. Bad news, the family that I was from is non existing since they died in America and I am the only one left.

Unbounded by expectations and held a bit back by health, I contacted the goblins and inquired more about what happens to me now. By Master Bonetooth’s ledgers  by the British Wizard’s law, almost an adult and not yet ready to step into society. By Goblin’s law, I had full control of the family wealth and accounts and can set forth. Plus the three additional vaults and accounts that were signed over to me by the Three. Now that was a time that I didn’t expect to surprise a Goblin or change up some rankings. Good times they were.

What the Three did not tell me was that now I was name Friend of the Goblins. Which opened some fun and interesting doors to my times of exploring before Britain had its first shock. With help of the Goblins, I got a small store. On the far end of Diagonally and in walking distance of the dark ally, it was almost hidden by the shadows of the other stores.

First glance, it looked like a hole in the wall store. It wasn’t until the second week in of cleaning that I found out why it was so hidden. Cursed and blessed at the same time that was now bound to me. I can recall it only just yesterday why the magical folk didn’t touch this store.

Two sides of a magical coin and a heap of curiosity would change everything.
