Full Moons and Bad Moods

From that day on, they had an understanding.

Every month, when Regulus was suffering, Remus would appear with chocolate and sit with him. No questions asked.

In return, when the full moon wrecked Remus, Regulus would sneak into the Gryffindor common room and shove chocolate into his hands.

“You don’t have to do this,” Remus had muttered once, looking half-dead after a particularly bad full moon.

Regulus, already tucking himself under the blanket beside him, just said, “You owe me for every time I almost died under that library desk.”

Remus snorted. “Win some, lose some.”

Regulus rolled his eyes but passed him another chocolate bar.
