Chapter 6
Beth leaned against the counter, arms loosely crossed as she watched Viv move around the kitchen with an ease that was almost mesmerizing. Viv had always been a natural at cooking, and Beth enjoyed watching her, not just because of the way she moved—though she certainly wasn’t complaining about that—but because of how much care she put into it.
The lasagna was nearly done, each layer placed with the kind of precision Beth could never manage in a million years. The smell of roasted garlic, tomato sauce, and melted cheese had already started filling the space, making Beth’s stomach rumble slightly.
“I still don’t get why you won’t let me help,” Beth said, tilting her head as Viv sprinkled a final layer of cheese over the dish.
Viv didn’t even glance up, just hummed as she focused. “Because you’re my guest.”
Beth scoffed, nudging Viv’s hip lightly with her own. “I’ve been your guest plenty of times now.”
Viv’s lips twitched, but she still didn’t look away from her work. “Yeah, but I wanted to cook for you.”
Beth’s stomach did a little flip at that. There was something in the way Viv said it—so casual, so sincere—that made her chest tighten in the best way.
“Also,” Viv added, finally placing the lasagna into the oven, “you’d probably just get in my way.”
Beth gasped dramatically. “Excuse you. I am an excellent sous-chef.”
Viv finally looked at her then, lips quirking. “I highly doubt that.”
Beth grinned, watching as Viv wiped her hands on a towel, then turned back around—only to find Beth standing right there, close enough that their bodies nearly touched.
“Hi,” Beth murmured, a teasing lilt in her voice.
Viv blinked, her breath hitching slightly. “Hi.”
Beth smiled, tilting her head slightly. Her fingers lifted, brushing lightly along the hem of Viv’s shirt, where the fabric had ridden up just slightly.
“Dinner smells amazing,” Beth murmured, her fingers grazing just lightly against Viv’s skin.
Viv swallowed, her voice coming out a little softer. “Yeah.”
Beth’s smile deepened. “You know, if you keep cooking for me like this, I might never leave.”
Viv let out a breathy chuckle, shaking her head. “Maybe that’s the plan.”
Beth hummed, something playful in her expression as she leaned in—slowly, deliberately—giving Viv a chance to pull back.
She didn’t.
Beth kissed her, soft at first, but when Viv let out the quietest sigh against her lips, Beth curled her fingers against Viv’s waist and pulled her closer.
Viv kissed her back just as eagerly, her hands sliding up Beth’s arms before finding their way to the back of her neck.
That was all it took.
Beth deepened the kiss instinctively, tilting her head to slot their lips together more firmly. Viv’s fingers tightened slightly against her skin, and Beth felt warmth pool in her stomach, her grip on Viv’s hips tightening.
Viv pressed back slightly against the counter, but she didn’t resist. Instead, she let Beth move against her, let Beth kiss her deeper, slower, let Beth’s hands skim over her sides like she needed something to hold onto.
Beth wasn’t sure how long they stayed like that, lost in each other.
Long enough that Beth’s heartbeat had settled into a steady, eager rhythm.
Long enough that she could feel herself getting lost in it—the press of Viv’s body, the way her fingers curled just slightly in Beth’s hair.
Long enough that restraint started to feel like something distant, something fragile.
Viv’s fingers slipped under the hem of Beth’s shirt, just barely grazing skin.
Beth groaned softly, gripping Viv’s waist a little tighter, feeling the way Viv responded, kissing her deeper for just a second, before pulling back slightly, just enough for a breath, before coming back again.
They kept going, kept kissing—slow, lingering—until Beth wasn’t sure where she ended and Viv began.
Until the oven timer blared.
The sharp beeping filled the kitchen, breaking through the haze between them.
Beth pulled back first, sucking in a breath, her forehead resting lightly against Viv’s.
Beth let out a slow breath, forehead still lightly resting against Viv’s. Neither of them moved right away, both trying to steady themselves, the air between them thick with something neither of them had the words for.
Then Viv cleared her throat, blinking like she was trying to reset herself. Her hands, which had been gripping the counter behind her, flexed before she finally pushed herself upright.
“We should—” She hesitated, voice soft, before clearing her throat and trying again. “We should eat.”
Beth blinked, still catching up. “Right. Food.”
Viv gave a small, almost sheepish nod before stepping back, hands reaching for the oven mitts. “Go sit,” she said, voice a little more composed now, though Beth could still see the slight pink to her cheeks. “I’ll take it out.”
Beth smirked slightly but obeyed, pushing herself off the counter and moving toward the table. “You sure? I can—”
Viv shot her a look, already opening the oven door. “Beth.”
Beth put her hands up in surrender, grinning as she pulled out a chair. “Alright, alright. I’m sitting.”
Viv shook her head, muttering something under her breath as she carefully pulled the lasagna out, setting it on the stovetop. She turned the oven off, took a deep breath, and then finally looked over at Beth, who was watching her with an amused glint in her eyes.
“What?” Viv asked, raising an eyebrow.
Beth tilted her head, lips twitching. “Nothing. Just… you look cute when you're bossy.”
Viv huffed, but Beth caught the way her lips curved slightly, the way she glanced down for just a second before busying herself with grabbing plates.
They ate slowly, the warmth of the meal settling between them like something tangible. The conversation was easy, drifting between light teasing and Beth making sure Viv knew just how much she loved the lasagna. Viv, of course, had been shy about it, shrugging like it wasn’t a big deal, but Beth caught the way her lips twitched like she was holding back a pleased smile.
When they were finished, Beth stretched, rolling her shoulders back. “That was so good,” she said, sighing happily. “You seriously outdid yourself.”
Viv glanced up at her, a small smile tugging at her lips. “I’m glad you liked it.”
Beth stood, grabbing their plates. “Okay, I’ll clean up.”
Viv frowned immediately. “Wait—”
Beth held up a hand. “Nope. You cooked, I clean. That’s how it works.”
Viv hesitated, clearly about to protest, but Beth just pointed at the couch. “Go. Sit.”
Viv narrowed her eyes. “Beth.”
“Viv.”
They stared at each other for a beat before Viv let out a small, defeated sigh, shaking her head. “I really don’t like this.”
Beth smirked. “I know. That’s why it’s fun.”
Viv scoffed but, reluctantly, made her way over to the couch, mumbling something under her breath as she plopped down. Beth chuckled, shaking her head as she took the dishes to the sink.
She took her time cleaning, occasionally glancing over her shoulder to check on Viv. She had curled up slightly, scrolling through her phone absently, looking far too adorable like that. Beth smiled to herself, something warm spreading in her chest at the sight of Viv so comfortable in her space.
When everything was finally cleaned and put away, Beth tossed the dish towel onto the counter and made her way over to the couch, sitting down beside Viv—closer than usual. Viv glanced at her but didn’t move away.
Beth nudged her playfully. “See? That wasn’t so bad, was it?”
Viv huffed. “It was terrible. Next time, I’m doing the dishes.”
Beth grinned. “Guess that means there’s gonna be a next time.”
Viv blinked, caught off guard for a second, and then looked away, shrugging slightly. “I mean… yeah.”
Beth’s grin softened. “Good.”
A beat of silence stretched between them before Beth turned slightly, tilting her head. “Hey.”
Viv glanced at her, and Beth smiled, leaning in to press a soft kiss to Viv’s jaw, just below her ear. “Thank you for dinner,” she murmured against her skin.
She was about to pull away, but then—Viv shivered.
Viv tensed for just a second, a sharp inhale barely audible between them. But she didn’t pull away. If anything, Beth felt the smallest tilt of Viv’s head, like she was leaning into the touch without thinking.
Beth smiled against her skin, pressing one more lingering kiss just below her ear before pulling back slightly, just enough to see Viv’s face. Her cheeks were flushed, lips parted, gaze flickering down before meeting Beth’s again.
Beth’s voice was soft, curious, almost teasing but not quite. “Do you like that?”
Viv swallowed, her fingers twitching slightly where they rested on her lap. “I—” She hesitated, clearly debating whether to answer or brush past it, but the way Beth was looking at her—warm, patient, wanting to know her—made it impossible to do anything but tell the truth.
“…Yeah,” Viv admitted, quieter this time, eyes darting away again.
Beth hummed, tilting her head, fingers barely brushing against Viv’s wrist as she let the words settle between them. Then, even softer, she murmured, “I want to know what you enjoy.”
Viv exhaled, shaky but steadying herself. She searched Beth’s face, and whatever she saw there seemed to make her relax just a little. “…I don’t know,” she admitted, voice barely above a whisper. “I never really thought about it.”
Beth’s thumb traced absentminded circles over Viv’s wrist, her voice steady, reassuring. “Then we’ll figure it out together.”
Viv let out a slow breath, her shoulders lowering slightly, the tension she didn’t realize she was holding finally ebbing away.
Beth leaned in, lips hovering just over the spot below Viv’s ear again, close enough that Viv could feel the warmth of her breath. “Can I?” Beth asked, voice barely more than a whisper. “Or is this something you don’t want?”
Viv swallowed, and this time, she didn’t hesitate. “You can.”
Beth’s stomach fluttered at the quiet certainty in Viv’s voice.
She kissed her there again—slower this time, more intentional, waiting for Viv’s reaction. The way Viv exhaled, barely audible, had Beth’s heart racing.
The moment Viv leaned in, Beth met her halfway, deepening the kiss almost instinctively. It was slow at first, controlled, but then Viv let out the softest sound against her lips—something small, something that sent a rush of heat through Beth’s entire body—and she was gone.
Her hands roamed over Viv’s sides, fingertips pressing just enough to feel the shape of her beneath the fabric of her shirt. She felt Viv shiver slightly under her touch, felt the way she pulled her closer, tilting her head to kiss Beth deeper. Beth moved without thinking, shifting her weight until Viv was beneath her, lying back against the couch.
Beth’s kisses grew more urgent, more searching. Her lips found the curve of Viv’s jaw, trailing slow, open-mouthed kisses down the column of her throat. When she reached just behind Viv’s ear, she felt the way Viv tensed under her, the way her fingers curled slightly against Beth’s back. Beth hovered there for a second, brushing her lips over the same spot, testing.
Viv exhaled, barely audible, but Beth caught it.
“You like that?” she murmured against her skin, her voice lower than she intended.
Viv didn’t answer, not really. She just nodded slightly, her breath coming a little uneven, fingers tightening on Beth’s shoulders.
Beth hummed, the sound vibrating against Viv’s neck before she kissed her there again, lingering longer this time. Her hands moved more boldly now, trailing over Viv’s waist, brushing up under the hem of her shirt, fingertips barely grazing warm skin. Viv sighed against her, tilting her head slightly to give Beth more space, and Beth took it, kissing the soft skin of her neck again and again, like she couldn’t get enough of it.
She felt Viv shift beneath her, the slow roll of her hips just barely pressing up against her, and Beth’s restraint started slipping fast. Her hands moved without thinking, gripping Viv tighter, her mouth pressing more insistently against her skin, trailing lower before returning to her lips.
They stayed like that, tangled together, breathless and desperate, until Beth suddenly forced herself to stop. She pulled back just enough to catch her breath, her forehead resting lightly against Viv’s, their lips still close, her hands still cradling Viv’s waist.
“If we don’t stop…” Beth exhaled, her voice uneven, “I’m going to lose control.”
Viv didn’t answer right away. Beth was about to pull back more when Viv whispered, voice soft but sure, “What if I want that?”
Beth’s breath hitched.
Viv’s hands moved slowly over Beth’s back, grounding her. Then, quieter this time, but with so much certainty, she added, “What if I want you to lose control?”
Beth swallowed hard, forcing herself to stay still for just a second longer.
Beth’s breath caught in her throat as she looked down at Viv, taking in the flush dusting her cheeks, the slight part of her lips, the way her fingers were still gripping at Beth’s back like she didn’t want her to move away.
Beth swallowed. “Are you sure?” Her voice was quiet, but her hands were gentle, brushing along Viv’s side, giving her every chance to change her mind.
Viv nodded without hesitation.
Beth exhaled, kissing her softly—slow, lingering, like she was memorizing the shape of Viv’s lips. Then she pulled back just enough to whisper, “Let’s go to the bedroom.”
Viv blinked at her, breath uneven, before a slow smile tugged at her lips. She reached up, cupping Beth’s jaw for a second before pulling her into another kiss—deeper this time, more certain. Beth smiled against her mouth before she pulled them both up, fingers lacing with Viv’s as she led her down the hall.
They didn’t rush.
They kissed their way into the bedroom, stopping every few steps, Beth pressing Viv against the walls, against the doorframe, taking her time. Viv responded just as eagerly, her hands tangling in Beth’s hair, sighing into every kiss.
When they finally reached the bed, Beth kissed her once more before gently pushing her down against the mattress, following right after, settling on top of her. She took a moment, hovering slightly, looking down at Viv beneath her, how beautiful she looked in the dim light, her hair splayed across the sheets.
Beth brushed her thumb along Viv’s cheek, her voice quiet but firm. “You can say no anytime.”
Viv’s fingers traced light patterns against Beth’s back as she nodded. “I know.”
Beth leaned down, kissing her again—soft, slow. Between kisses, she murmured, “You’re sure, right?”
Viv didn’t even hesitate. “I really am.”
Beth let out a soft breath, pressing more kisses along Viv’s jaw, down to the spot behind her ear that she had discovered earlier, the one that made Viv shudder beneath her. She felt Viv’s hands tighten on her waist, her breathing quicken.
Then, through the haze of kisses, Viv whispered, “I’m just—” She exhaled, tilting her head slightly against the pillow. “I’m a little nervous.”
Beth paused, her hand still tracing slow, careful lines over Viv’s waist. She didn’t pull away, didn’t question it, just waited, giving Viv space to say what she needed.
Viv swallowed before adding, softer, “Last time… alcohol helped.” She let out a small, self-conscious chuckle, eyes flickering up to Beth’s before glancing away again.
Beth’s heart clenched at how shy she looked, how vulnerable she sounded. She reached up, tucking a loose strand of Viv’s hair behind her ear before pressing the softest kiss to her lips. Slow. Certain.
“You don’t have to be nervous,” Beth murmured against her mouth. “I’ll take my time.”
Viv’s breath hitched, her fingers curling in the fabric of Beth’s shirt as she pulled her in again. This time, when Beth kissed her, she felt Viv relax beneath her, melting into the moment.
Beth kissed her softly, hands trailing along Viv’s back, feeling the warmth of her skin beneath her fingertips. Viv was beneath her now, pressed against the bed, her breath uneven as Beth kissed just below her ear before pulling back slightly.
Beth hovered over her, lips brushing against Viv’s as she whispered, “Can I take this off?” Her fingers played with the hem of Viv’s shirt, waiting.
Viv swallowed, nodding. “Yeah.”
Beth kissed her again before gently lifting Viv’s shirt, pulling it over her head and letting it drop somewhere onto the bed. She took a moment to take her in—the way the dim light caught on her skin, the way she was breathing just a little faster.
Viv’s hands hesitated at the hem of Beth’s own shirt, her fingers brushing lightly against her stomach. Beth stayed still, letting her decide, giving her time.
“I want to,” Viv said softly, almost like she was telling herself.
Beth smiled, pressing a kiss to her shoulder. “Then go ahead.”
Viv pulled Beth’s shirt up slowly, Beth lifting her arms to help, until it joined the other one on the sheets. Beth kissed her again, deeper this time, hands trailing along Viv’s spine, feeling the way she shivered under her touch.
“You’re beautiful,” Beth murmured, lips grazing Viv’s jaw.
Viv’s breath hitched slightly, her fingers tightening on Beth’s waist before she kissed her again. The kiss was slower but deeper, more certain.
Beth felt herself getting lost in it, her hands gliding up Viv’s back, fingertips brushing over the strap of her bra. She pulled back just enough to meet Viv’s eyes. “Can I?”
Viv exhaled, nodding. “Yeah.”
Beth unclasped it easily, sliding the straps down Viv’s arms. Her breath caught slightly at the sight of her—how undone she looked beneath her. But then Viv’s hands were on her back, reaching for her bra.
Beth wasn’t prepared for how much that would affect her.
Viv’s fingers fumbled slightly, the clasp giving her trouble, and Beth could feel every single brush of her knuckles against her spine, every hesitant touch. Her body felt too warm, her breath coming a little faster.
Viv let out a frustrated little huff, still struggling. Beth swallowed, pressing her forehead lightly to Viv’s, trying to keep herself together. “Do you need help?” she asked, voice softer than she meant.
Viv shook her head quickly, looking determined. “No. I can do it.”
Beth bit her lip, fingers brushing over Viv’s sides as she waited, doing her best to ignore how badly she wanted her.
Finally, Viv got it undone.
Beth let out a slow breath, looking down at her, taking in how beautiful she looked—flushed, vulnerable, perfect.
Beth let out a slow breath, taking in how beautiful Viv looked—flushed, vulnerable, perfect.
She reached for Viv’s waist, her fingers brushing against the soft skin there, feeling the way Viv shivered slightly under her touch. Slowly, she moved lower, tracing the edge of Viv’s pants, her eyes flicking up to meet Viv’s.
“Can I?” Beth asked, voice quiet, careful.
Viv nodded, her breath uneven.
Beth pressed a kiss to Viv’s collarbone, then lower, trailing soft kisses down her stomach as she hooked her fingers beneath the fabric. She took her time, pulling Viv’s pants down gently, her lips ghosting over the newly exposed skin, feeling every shift of Viv’s body beneath her.
She let her mouth linger on Viv’s thigh, pressing slow, open-mouthed kisses there. She could hear Viv’s breath hitch, could feel the way her fingers curled slightly into the sheets.
When Beth finally sat back, she reached for the button of her own jeans, undoing them with ease before pushing them down her legs. She tossed them aside and moved back over Viv, straddling her lap, hands resting lightly against Viv’s bare sides.
Beth was about to lean in again, but then Viv’s voice—quiet, a little shy—stopped her.
“You’re…” Viv hesitated for a moment before continuing, voice barely above a whisper. “You’re stunning.”
Beth blinked, her lips parting slightly before a slow smile spread across her face. She tilted her head, shifting slightly against Viv, feeling the warmth between them.
“Yeah?” she murmured, her hands tracing light patterns along Viv’s waist. “What do you like about it?”
Viv swallowed, her gaze flickering over Beth’s body. She looked like she wasn’t sure if she could say it, if she should.
Beth leaned in, pressing a teasing kiss to Viv’s jaw. “Tell me.”
Viv swallowed, her fingers tightening just slightly on Beth’s waist. Her eyes flickered between Beth’s, then down, lingering over her body.
“I—” She hesitated, cheeks growing warmer, then exhaled softly. “Your hips,” she murmured, voice barely above a whisper. “The way they fit under my hands.”
Beth’s lips curled slightly, brushing a soft kiss against Viv’s collarbone. “Yeah?”
Viv nodded, her fingers grazing over the curve of Beth’s waist, like she was memorizing the feel of her. “Your thighs,” she admitted, voice dropping even softer. “They’re… strong. And soft at the same time.”
Beth smirked, but there was something fond in her eyes. “Go on.”
Viv swallowed again, hesitating for just a second before her gaze flickered up to Beth’s chest. “Your boobs,” she finally admitted, cheeks turning a deeper shade of pink.
Beth let out a small, breathy laugh. “Oh?”
Viv covered her face with one hand, groaning softly. “I sound ridiculous.”
Beth gently pulled her hand away, pressing a soft kiss to her wrist before whispering, “Keep going.”
Viv let out a small huff, but her fingers still traced slow patterns over Beth’s back. “They just—look really good,” she mumbled. “They always do.”
Beth’s lips twitched, watching Viv carefully, taking in the way her fingers still lingered at her sides, like she wanted to reach out but wasn’t sure if she should.
Beth leaned in, pressing a soft kiss just beneath Viv’s ear, her voice barely above a whisper. “Do you want to touch them?”
Viv swallowed, her breath hitching slightly. She hesitated for just a second before nodding.
Beth smiled, something warm and affectionate in her gaze. Slowly, she reached for Viv’s hands, guiding them gently, placing them over her chest.
Viv exhaled shakily, fingers flexing slightly before she settled them against Beth’s skin. Beth felt her own breath catch at the careful, tentative touch.
Viv was exploring, unsure but eager, her fingers tracing softly over the curve of Beth’s breasts, feeling the warmth of her skin beneath her palms.
Beth watched her, studying every flicker of emotion on her face. “Feels good?” she murmured, voice softer now.
Viv nodded slowly, her lips slightly parted, her thumbs brushing lightly over Beth. “Yeah…” she admitted, almost in awe.
Her touch grew bolder, fingertips grazing over Beth’s nipples. The reaction was immediate—Beth let out a soft, breathy moan, her body tensing slightly at the sensation.
Viv paused, eyes flicking up to Beth’s face, almost like she was trying to confirm what she had just heard. Then, slowly, she repeated the motion, brushing her thumbs over the sensitive skin again.
Beth’s breath hitched, a quiet, “I love that,” slipping past her lips before she even realized she had said it.
Viv’s fingers hesitated for a moment, her touch pausing as if she was still taking in Beth’s reaction. Her lips parted slightly, eyes flicking up to Beth’s face, searching. Beth, still slightly breathless, met her gaze and offered the smallest nod—encouraging, reassuring.
Viv swallowed, then traced her thumbs over Beth’s nipples again, watching how Beth’s body reacted under her hands. This time, she was more deliberate, pressing just a little more, circling the sensitive skin with careful, slow motions. Beth moaned softly, her fingers curling against Viv’s shoulders.
Beth could see the way Viv was looking at her, the focus in her eyes, the way her gaze kept flickering downward. She wasn’t sure if Viv even realized it herself, but she was staring, lingering, her lips parting like she was debating something.
Beth let out a shaky breath, tilting Viv’s chin up gently so their eyes met. “You can kiss them, if you want,” she murmured, voice low, careful.
Viv’s cheeks flushed, but she didn’t look away. Her gaze flickered down again before she nodded—tentative but sure.
Beth smiled, brushing her fingers through Viv’s hair, letting her take her time. Viv hesitated for just a second longer, then dipped her head, pressing a soft, almost reverent kiss against the curve of Beth’s breast.
Beth exhaled sharply, her grip in Viv’s hair tightening slightly.
Encouraged, Viv kissed her again, this time closer to her nipple, her lips warmer, lingering a little longer. She was slow, almost testing, feeling out Beth’s reactions. When she finally pressed an open-mouthed kiss over the sensitive skin, Beth let out a quiet, breathy moan.
Viv stilled at the sound, her breath warm against Beth’s skin, then, carefully, she did it again, this time flicking her tongue lightly over her.
Beth gasped, her hands gripping Viv’s back, pulling her closer. “Oh, God—”
Viv’s confidence grew with every reaction, and soon, her kisses became more purposeful. She took her time, tracing Beth’s skin with her lips, sucking gently, pressing slow, wet kisses, licking softly before closing her lips over her again. Beth arched into the touch, her body responding instinctively, her nails digging lightly into Viv’s shoulders.
When Viv pulled back slightly, Beth was breathless, her skin flushed, her chest rising and falling in uneven waves. Viv kissed the space between Beth’s breasts, then slowly worked her way up, trailing kisses along her collarbone, up the side of her neck.
Beth shivered, her whole body on fire. When Viv’s lips brushed just below her ear, Beth barely had the presence of mind to whisper, “I love your mouth…”
Viv smiled against her skin, still kissing her softly. “Yeah?”
Beth exhaled a soft laugh, then suddenly stilled, blinking as a thought crossed her mind. “I should be the one giving you pleasure,” she murmured.
Viv froze for just a second before she pulled back slightly, tilting her head to meet Beth’s eyes. “Why are you saying that?” Her voice was gentle, genuinely curious.
Beth hesitated. “I just… usually do.”
Viv’s expression softened. She reached up, brushing her fingers over Beth’s jaw before kissing her again, slow and sweet. “I want to give you pleasure too,” she whispered against Beth’s lips, her hands still warm against Beth’s body.
Beth swallowed hard, something deep in her chest tightening at the words. She had no idea how much she needed to hear that until now.
Beth’s breath was still uneven when Viv kissed her lips again, slow and lingering, like she was savoring every second. Beth kissed her back just as softly, her hands tracing up Viv’s back, keeping her close.
Then, just above a whisper, Viv murmured against her lips, “Let me give you pleasure first.”
Beth’s stomach tightened at the words. She swallowed, searching Viv’s face, finding nothing but certainty in her expression. Viv kissed her again, softer this time, like she was giving Beth a moment to process.
Beth exhaled shakily, then nodded.
That was all Viv needed. With gentle hands, she shifted, turning them over slowly, guiding Beth onto her back, settling carefully over her. Beth let her hands fall to Viv’s sides, feeling the warmth of her bare skin, the way she fit so perfectly against her.
Viv kissed her again, sweet and unhurried. Then she pulled back just enough to meet Beth’s gaze.
“What do you like?” she asked softly.
Beth blinked up at her, her breath catching at the sheer intimacy of the question. The way Viv was looking at her—like she truly wanted to know, like she wanted this to be good for Beth—made her chest tighten in the best way.
Beth’s lips parted, but she hesitated for a second, not used to being the one to answer. Not used to someone wanting to take care of her first. She let her hands slip up Viv’s back, holding her a little closer.
“Your mouth,” she murmured, her voice softer now, more certain. “On me.”
Viv’s breath caught slightly, her fingers pressing into Beth’s waist before she swallowed. “How do you like that?” she asked, voice quieter, careful.
Beth exhaled, her fingers skimming along Viv’s back. She thought about it for a second before answering.
“Slow, at first,” she admitted. “Soft. Teasing. Like you’re taking your time.”
Viv nodded, watching her closely, waiting for more.
Beth’s lips parted, her voice barely above a whisper now. “And then more. Deeper. When I start to lose control—keep going. Don’t stop.”
Viv’s pupils dilated slightly, her breath shaky as she nodded again. “Okay.”
Beth swallowed, suddenly feeling too warm under Viv’s touch. “I like feeling like I can’t think, like all I can do is feel you.”
Viv didn’t say anything at first, just looked at her for a long moment, something unreadable in her gaze. Then, slowly, she leaned in, kissing her deeply, hands sliding lower as Beth let herself melt into it.
Viv started slow, just like Beth had asked. She pressed her lips softly to Beth’s jaw, letting them linger before trailing down to her neck. She could feel Beth’s breath hitch beneath her, could hear the softest sound escape her lips.
She took her time there, letting her mouth explore, pressing open-mouthed kisses to Beth’s skin, sucking lightly at the places that made her shiver. When she found the spot right under Beth’s ear, she stayed there, feeling Beth’s fingers tighten in her hair, her hips shift slightly.
Beth’s breathing was getting heavier, and that only encouraged Viv more. She moved lower, kissing along Beth’s collarbone, down the center of her chest, across her ribs. Her hands skimmed along Beth’s sides, mapping out her body with her fingertips as she kissed every inch of skin she could reach.
She went lower still, kissing along Beth’s stomach, feeling how the muscles tensed slightly beneath her lips. She glanced up at Beth, finding her already watching her, eyes dark and half-lidded. Viv pressed another kiss just above the waistband of Beth’s underwear, slow, teasing, feeling Beth’s breath stutter.
She took her time, kissing along Beth’s hips, her inner thighs, her hands sliding over Beth’s legs as she made her way down. She could feel how warm Beth was beneath her lips, how she was already reacting to every slow movement.
Finally, she pressed a kiss over Beth’s underwear, feeling the heat of her through the fabric. Beth let out a small, shaky breath, her fingers gripping the sheets beside her. Viv lingered there, just enough to tease, her lips brushing against the fabric again, feeling Beth’s hips shift in response.
She pulled back just slightly, looking up at Beth, watching the way her chest rose and fell. She wanted to hear her, to feel her fully let go, to give her exactly what she wanted.
So, slowly, she kissed her again, just as soft, just as slow, her hands pressing gently into Beth’s thighs, holding her steady as she took her time.
Viv’s lips lingered just above Beth’s skin, her breath warm as she pressed slow, open-mouthed kisses over her inner thighs. She could feel how Beth reacted to every touch, every teasing kiss—her legs tensing slightly, her breath catching in anticipation. Beth’s fingers curled into the sheets, her chest rising and falling a little quicker now, as if she was bracing herself for what was coming next.
Beth let out a soft, shaky moan when Viv’s lips finally met the thin fabric of her underwear, her hips shifting instinctively. Viv exhaled, feeling the heat between them, feeling how much Beth wanted this. She kissed over the fabric again, slower this time, pressing a little more firmly, and Beth gasped, her fingers slipping into Viv’s hair, gripping lightly.
Beth’s fingers tangled in Viv’s hair, her voice breathless as she murmured, “Off… please.”
Viv hesitated only for a second, then hooked her fingers into the waistband of Beth’s underwear, dragging it down slowly. She took her time, watching the way Beth shivered beneath her, how she exhaled shakily, anticipation thick between them. Viv pressed a few more kisses to the newly exposed skin, letting her lips ghost over Beth’s hipbones, down the inside of her thighs, teasing, never quite where Beth needed her most.
Beth made a small, frustrated sound, hips lifting just slightly, and Viv smiled against her skin.
“Patience,” she murmured, her voice soft but teasing.
Beth’s only response was a quiet whimper, her fingers tightening in Viv’s hair as she exhaled a sharp breath.
Viv kissed her way back up, lips barely grazing Beth’s skin, her hands gripping Beth’s thighs just enough to keep her steady. Beth was already desperate for her, the tension in her body so clear, and Viv let herself enjoy this moment—being able to touch her like this, to make her feel good.
She flicked her tongue softly, just a light tease, and Beth’s body reacted instantly, a quiet moan slipping past her lips. Encouraged, Viv did it again—this time slower, more deliberate, feeling how Beth’s thighs trembled slightly around her shoulders.
Beth’s hips jerked slightly, and Viv tightened her grip, holding her in place as she settled into a rhythm, finding what Beth liked by listening to her body, her sounds, her movement. She alternated between slow, teasing licks and firmer, more deliberate movements, taking her time just like Beth had asked—savoring every sound, every reaction.
Beth was unraveling quickly, her moans getting higher, her fingers gripping Viv’s hair tighter. “Viv… please,” she gasped, her voice strained, almost desperate.
Viv knew exactly what she needed. She flicked her tongue a few more times before wrapping her lips around Beth’s most sensitive spot, sucking gently at first and then a little harder. The effect was immediate—Beth gasped, her back arching, her thighs trembling around Viv’s head.
“Fuck, Viv,” she moaned, her voice breaking as pleasure overwhelmed her.
Viv held onto her, keeping her in place as she sucked again, then alternated between fast, teasing flicks of her tongue and deep, slow strokes. Beth was close—Viv could feel it in the way her body tensed, how her moans became more desperate.
Viv pressed a hand to Beth’s hip, grounding her, then sucked a little harder, flicking her tongue at the same time. That was it.
Beth’s moan was louder this time, almost a cry, her body arching off the bed as she came, her thighs clenching slightly before trembling under Viv’s hold. She stayed like that for a long, drawn-out moment, breath catching in her throat as waves of pleasure crashed over her. Viv slowed down, letting her ride it out, pressing soft, lazy kisses to her skin as Beth finally sagged back into the mattress, completely spent.
For a moment, neither of them moved.
Beth’s chest was still rising and falling quickly, her fingers slipping from Viv’s hair, her body still warm and sensitive.
Viv kissed her one last time, right where Beth’s pulse was still erratic, then slowly made her way up, pressing soft kisses along her stomach, between her ribs, over her collarbone. She took her time, letting Beth catch her breath, feeling her body gradually relax under her.
Beth was still catching her breath, her body warm and completely spent as she lay there, sinking into the sheets. Her heartbeat was slowing, but the aftershocks of pleasure still pulsed through her, making her limbs feel heavy, her skin extra sensitive. She blinked up at the ceiling, trying to gather herself, when she felt Viv shift beside her.
When Beth turned her head, she found Viv watching her, hair slightly messy, eyes soft and a little uncertain, like she wasn’t sure what came next. There was a pause, the quiet stretching between them, until Viv hesitated and asked, “You okay?”
Beth let out a breathless, almost disbelieving laugh, shaking her head slightly before turning fully toward Viv. “Okay?” she repeated, voice hoarse. “That was… incredible.”
Viv’s lips parted slightly, like she hadn’t expected that. “Yeah?” she murmured.
Beth exhaled deeply, her gaze dragging over Viv’s face, the way she still looked a little hesitant, like she wasn’t sure if she had done well enough. “Viv,” Beth said, voice warm, sure, “that was the best head I’ve ever had.”
Viv’s cheeks flushed instantly, her eyes flicking away for a second before coming back to Beth, searching. “You don’t have to—”
“I’m not just saying that,” Beth interrupted, reaching out to tuck a strand of hair behind Viv’s ear. Her fingers lingered, tracing lightly along her jaw before she cupped Viv’s cheek, thumb brushing her skin. “You were perfect. Every second of it.”
Beth kissed Viv softly, letting the moment settle between them, the warmth of their bodies keeping them close. She stayed there, lips brushing against Viv’s, lingering. Then, in a whisper, she asked, "How do you like it?"
Viv swallowed, her breath catching slightly at the question. "I… I don’t know," she admitted, voice small, hesitant, like she wasn’t sure she was allowed to ask for something.
Beth’s fingers traced slow circles along Viv’s back, grounding her, keeping her close. "Tell me whatever you want," she coaxed gently, her voice softer now, reassuring.
Viv didn’t answer right away. Beth could feel her chest rising and falling quickly, could sense the slight tension in her body, like she was overthinking it. So Beth kissed her again—soft, steady, trying to take away any hesitation, any uncertainty.
It worked. Viv exhaled, melting into her, and when Beth kissed just beneath her jaw, she felt Viv’s fingers twitch slightly against her waist. "Maybe… fingers," she finally admitted, barely louder than a breath.
Beth smiled, pressing another kiss to her skin. "Any recommendations?" she teased, her voice warm, light, as if to remind Viv that this was easy, that there was no pressure.
Viv let out a soft, breathy laugh, but there was a hint of shyness in it. She hesitated before shaking her head. "Whatever you want," she said, voice quiet but certain.
Beth hummed in approval, trailing slow kisses down Viv’s throat, over her collarbone. "I like that," she whispered, lips grazing against warm skin. Her hand moved lower, fingertips tracing the curve of Viv’s hip before slipping beneath the waistband of her underwear. "Let me check how you are," she murmured against her skin.
As her fingers slid down, she felt the undeniable heat of Viv against them. Beth inhaled, feeling something deep settle in her chest, something that sent a wave of want through her. She pulled back slightly, just enough to lift her hand between them, her fingers glistening in the dim light.
Viv’s breath hitched, her eyes flicking from Beth’s fingers to her face, watching, waiting.
Beth brought her fingers to her lips, licking them slowly, savoring. Her eyes met Viv’s again, something dark and wanting behind them as she whispered, "Love how you taste."
She let her fingers slip from her lips, watching the way Viv's breath caught, her eyes locked onto Beth with something raw and unguarded. For a moment, neither of them spoke. The air between them felt charged, heavy with unspoken things.
Beth tilted her head slightly, her voice barely above a whisper. “Do you like seeing me do that?”
Viv inhaled sharply, her lips parting, but no words came. Instead, she gave a small, quick nod—then another, more certain this time.
Beth felt warmth bloom in her chest, something deep and overwhelming. She reached for Viv’s waist, fingers skimming over her skin before hooking into the fabric of her underwear. Slowly, she pulled them down, letting her touch linger as she guided them off completely.
Viv’s breath was uneven now, anticipation clear in every part of her. Beth took a moment, letting her eyes trail over her, taking in every little reaction, the way her hands curled slightly into the sheets, the way her chest rose and fell just a bit faster than before.
Beth leaned down, pressing the softest kiss to Viv’s jaw, then lower, tracing a slow path down the curve of her throat. Her hand moved between them, fingers barely grazing over Viv’s skin—just enough to make her shiver, just enough to feel the way her body reacted instantly.
Viv let out a quiet, desperate sound, shifting slightly beneath Beth.
Beth smiled against her skin, her voice low, teasing. “Already?”
Viv exhaled shakily. “You’re—” she started, but cut herself off with another soft gasp as Beth traced another featherlight touch over her, still teasing, still taking her time.
Beth hummed softly, her mouth trailing warm kisses over Viv’s shoulder as she continued her slow, torturous movements. Every little reaction, every small noise Viv made, sent something electric through her. She wanted to draw it out, wanted to take her time—wanted to make this something neither of them would forget.
Beth continued her slow, featherlight touches, tracing delicate patterns over Viv’s skin, savoring every reaction. She pressed warm, lingering kisses to Viv’s jaw, her throat, trailing lower but never quite giving her what she needed. She could feel the way Viv’s body was tensing beneath her, the quiet tremors of anticipation that made her chest rise and fall unevenly.
Viv let out a frustrated sound, shifting slightly.
Beth smiled against her skin, teasing, “Impatient?”
Viv didn’t answer right away, but the way her hands clutched at Beth’s arms said enough.
Taking her time, Beth let her fingers drift lower, grazing just barely over Viv’s entrance, feeling the undeniable heat of her. But she didn’t move further, didn’t press in. She stayed like that, her fingers just resting there, feeling Viv’s thighs tighten, her breath catch, her body trembling with expectation.
Then, her voice low and deliberate, she whispered, “Can I?”
Viv let out a shaky breath, her head tipping back against the pillow as she nodded quickly. But Beth needed to hear it.
“Tell me,” Beth coaxed, her lips brushing just beneath Viv’s ear.
Viv exhaled, her voice breaking slightly as she whispered, “Please, Beth.”
Beth hummed in satisfaction, pressing a soft kiss to her lips as she finally, slowly pushed inside, feeling Viv react instantly—the way she gasped into Beth’s mouth, her fingers gripping at her back as she adjusted. Beth kept her movements slow at first, drawing out every sensation, watching Viv, listening to every quiet moan, every hitched breath.
When she felt Viv starting to relax, getting used to her, she deepened the rhythm slightly, moving more deliberately, her touch both certain and careful.
Viv moaned softly against Beth’s lips, her body shifting with each movement. As the pleasure built, she started moving too, instinctively rolling her hips into Beth’s touch, seeking more.
Beth grinned, murmuring between kisses, “You like that?”
Viv only nodded, biting her lip, eyes heavy-lidded as she chased the sensation.
Beth groaned, watching her, feeling the way Viv was completely unraveling beneath her. “I love seeing you like this,” she admitted, voice rough with affection.
Viv whimpered, her nails dragging lightly over Beth’s shoulders, her movements becoming more desperate.
Beth continued her rhythm, keeping her movements steady but deep, watching as Viv completely surrendered beneath her. She could feel it—Viv was getting close, her body tensing, her fingers gripping Beth even tighter, her breathing growing more erratic.
Beth pressed a soft kiss to her cheek, murmuring, “You’re right there, baby. Let go.”
Viv whimpered, her thighs trembling, her breath coming in short, desperate gasps. Her hands clutched at Beth’s back, pulling her closer, anchoring herself as the pleasure mounted higher and higher.
“Beth,” Viv gasped, her voice breaking, her hips shifting restlessly against Beth’s touch.
Beth groaned at the sound of her name like that, at the way Viv was completely unraveling.
“Please,” Viv begged, her voice high and desperate, her body arching beneath Beth.
Beth curled her fingers just right, pressing exactly where she knew Viv needed, and that was all it took.
Viv let out a sharp, choked moan, her back lifting off the bed as pleasure crashed over her. Her thighs clenched around Beth’s hand, her body trembling as wave after wave hit her. She rode it out, completely lost in the sensation, moaning Beth’s name like it was the only thing she knew how to say.
Beth held her through it, keeping her movements slow, coaxing her down gently until she felt Viv start to relax. Only then did she carefully slip her fingers out, her touch lingering against Viv’s skin for just a second longer.
Beth shifted up slightly, watching Viv as she caught her breath, still looking thoroughly wrecked, her chest rising and falling quickly.
Beth brought her fingers up to her lips first, humming softly as she licked them, savoring the taste. But then she looked down at Viv, an idea sparking in her mind.
Slowly, deliberately, she pressed her fingers to Viv’s lips. “Here,” she whispered, voice thick with something warm and teasing. “Taste yourself.”
Viv’s breath hitched, her eyes flickering up to meet Beth’s, something unreadable in her gaze. But she didn’t hesitate.
Her lips parted, and she took Beth’s fingers into her mouth, her tongue flicking over them slowly, deliberately. Beth swallowed hard, watching every second of it, mesmerized by the way Viv’s mouth moved, the way she licked every drop from Beth’s fingers like she was savoring it.
Beth exhaled, her voice lower than she intended when she murmured, “Fuck, Viv.”
Viv’s cheeks were flushed, but she didn’t look away. She just licked a little slower, eyes locked onto Beth’s, letting Beth see exactly what she was doing.
Beth let out a quiet groan, her free hand tightening against Viv’s waist.
She leaned in, pressing a soft, lingering kiss to Viv’s jaw before murmuring against her skin, voice low and warm, “Good girl.”
Viv’s breath hitched, her fingers tightening against Beth’s side. A soft, almost involuntary moan slipped from her lips, her body reacting before she could even process it.
Beth smirked slightly, her nose brushing against Viv’s cheek as she whispered, “You like that?”
Viv exhaled shakily, not trusting her voice at first. Then, finally, she nodded, cheeks burning. “I—” She let out a small, breathy laugh, still catching her breath. “That was… a lot.”
Beth smiled, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead. “Yeah,” she agreed, voice gentle. “You okay?”
Viv hummed softly, nodding, her body still warm and pliant beneath Beth’s. “Mhm… just tired,” she admitted, voice barely above a whisper.
Beth chuckled, shifting slightly to lay beside her, pulling her close. Viv tucked her face into Beth’s shoulder, her fingers curling lazily against Beth’s side.
“Sleep,” Beth whispered, pressing another kiss to Viv’s hair.
Viv sighed contently, already halfway there.
Just as Beth was about to close her eyes, she felt Viv shift slightly beside her. A hesitant inhale, like she was working up the nerve to speak.
Then, so softly Beth almost thought she imagined it, Viv whispered, “Tomorrow… please don’t leave before I wake up.”
Beth felt something twist inside her, the raw vulnerability in Viv’s voice settling deep in her chest. She pulled back just enough to see Viv’s face, her fingers tracing slow, soothing patterns against Viv’s back.
“Hey,” Beth murmured gently, tilting her head to catch Viv’s eyes. “I won’t.”
Viv swallowed, like she wasn’t sure if she should believe her, like maybe she was scared Beth would slip away in the early hours.
Beth cupped Viv’s jaw, her thumb grazing over the soft skin of her cheek. “I mean it. I’ll be right here when you wake up.”
Viv let out a slow breath, her fingers tightening slightly where they rested against Beth’s side. “You promise?”
Beth’s chest ached in the best way. She leaned in, pressing the softest kiss to Viv’s lips—barely a brush, just a whisper of reassurance. “Promise,” she murmured against her mouth. “You’ll wake up with me right here, holding you.”
Viv’s eyes flickered shut for a second, like she was letting the words settle inside her. “Okay,” she exhaled, but Beth could still feel the faint tension lingering in her body.
Beth smiled softly, nudging her nose against Viv’s. “You gonna sleep better now that you’ve made me pinky swear on it?”
Viv huffed a small, breathy laugh, but when she spoke, her voice was smaller than before. “I just… don’t like waking up alone.”
Beth’s throat tightened. “You won’t,” she promised again, pulling Viv in closer, as if she could physically prove it. “I’ll stay. Always.”
Viv’s fingers curled against Beth’s skin, holding her there. Then, after a moment, she whispered, “Thank you.”
Beth kissed her temple, lingering there, letting the warmth of her breath and the soft scent of her hair fill her senses. “Sleep now,” she murmured, rubbing slow circles into Viv’s back.
This time, Viv truly let herself relax, her body melting into Beth’s as sleep finally pulled her under.
Beth stayed awake a little longer, just watching her, feeling the quiet rise and fall of Viv’s breath against her. And she meant what she said.
Viv woke slowly, her body still warm, her mind caught somewhere between sleep and wakefulness. For a moment, she didn’t move—just feeling the weight of the blankets around her, the quiet stillness of the room, and the comforting warmth pressed against her.
Beth.
She blinked her eyes open, shifting slightly, and there she was—Beth lying beside her, one arm draped lazily around Viv’s waist, her body comfortably pressed close. But she wasn’t asleep.
Beth was scrolling through her phone with her free hand, the faint glow of the screen casting soft shadows across her face. She looked relaxed, brows furrowing slightly at whatever she was reading, but she didn’t seem in any rush to move.
She hadn’t left.
Something inside Viv eased at the realization.
Slowly, she shifted, pressing herself closer against Beth, her fingers brushing over the fabric of her shirt like she needed to ground herself, to make sure Beth was really there. The movement caught Beth’s attention, and her phone lowered instantly as she turned toward Viv.
“Hey, you’re awake,” Beth murmured, her voice still rough with sleep, like she hadn’t been up for long.
Viv hummed in response, tucking herself more securely against Beth’s chest. “You stayed,” she mumbled, voice quiet, still drowsy.
Beth let out a soft chuckle, tightening her arm around Viv’s waist, like she had never even considered leaving. “Of course, I did.”
Viv swallowed, her grip on Beth’s shirt tightening just a little. “I know, I just—” She hesitated, searching for words before shaking her head slightly. “It’s nice waking up with you.”
Beth’s expression softened, something unbearably tender in her gaze. She leaned in, pressing a slow, warm kiss to Viv’s forehead. “Get used to it,” she murmured against her skin.
Viv exhaled softly, closing her eyes as she soaked in the warmth of Beth’s touch. She curled into her more, her arm slipping around Beth’s waist as she let herself melt into the feeling. Beth took the hint, shifting slightly to wrap her more securely in her arms, pressing lazy, featherlight kisses to Viv’s hair, then her temple, then just beneath her ear.
Viv sighed contently at the attention, tilting her chin slightly, letting Beth kiss her properly this time. It was slow, unrushed, Beth’s lips moving against hers like she had all the time in the world. When they pulled back, Viv let her forehead rest against Beth’s, eyes still closed.
Then, almost hesitantly, she whispered, “You’re not… doing this with anyone else, right?”
Beth stilled for half a second before pulling back just enough to look at Viv, her brows furrowing slightly. “No,” she answered, voice gentle, but certain. “I’m not.”
Viv swallowed, fingers still gripping lightly at Beth’s shirt. “You’re sure?”
Beth's eyes softened at Viv’s question, sensing the lingering doubt in her voice. She reached for Viv’s hand, lacing their fingers together under the covers. “I’m sure,” she murmured, squeezing gently. “I wouldn’t lie to you.”
Viv let out a small breath, nodding slightly, but she still seemed lost in thought. After a moment, she added, “I understand if… before, you did.” Her voice was quiet, careful. “Because we weren’t… you know.”
Beth frowned slightly, reading between the lines. Viv’s fingers traced absent patterns against her palm, like she was hesitating before speaking again.
Viv exhaled softly. “Because I wasn’t ready.”
Beth’s heart ached at how small Viv’s voice sounded.
“Hey,” she whispered, shifting onto her side so she could cup Viv’s cheek, tilting her head just enough to make her look at her. “You never have to justify that to me. I would have waited as long as you needed.”
Viv swallowed, her eyes flickering between Beth’s, searching. “Really?”
Beth’s thumb brushed softly along her cheek. “Really.”
Viv nodded slowly, her breath a little steadier, but Beth wasn’t done reassuring her.
“And for the record,” Beth continued, her voice unwavering, “even if we weren’t official, I wasn’t out there doing… anything with anyone else.”
Viv bit her lip, fingers still curled into Beth’s. “But if you did…”
Beth let out a quiet breath, shaking her head. “If I did, you shouldn’t be okay with it.”
Viv blinked, a little surprised.
Beth smiled softly, leaning in to press a kiss to her forehead. “Because I’m with you, Viv. And I don’t want anyone else.”
Viv stayed quiet for a long moment before she exhaled and melted further into Beth’s touch, pressing her face against her chest. Beth took that as a sign to hold her tighter, letting her settle completely against her.
“You okay?” Beth murmured after a beat, fingers threading lazily through Viv’s hair.
Viv let out a soft hum, nodding against her. “Yeah.” A pause. Then, in a whisper, “Thank you.”
