Chapter 1
Prologue
The years following the battle at Hogwarts where some of the hardest for Hermione. She and Ron have since long gone their separate ways. She tried to find her parents without any success. For the first time Hemione felt completely and utterly alone.
She had tried to reconnect with Harry but being an aurora kept him quite busy. Being a husband and a new father kept him even busier. Him and his wife Ginny had recently welcomed their first child James. She has found out from the daily profit. Clearly that friendship has fizzled out recently.
The only interaction Hermione had with anyone was online. She would sometimes sit in random chat room and would only chim in when she disagreed with anyone on their views on a certain subject. Sometimes she would talk one on one with people in hopes of making any type of connection. Romantic or not she didn't care. Just something to fill the loneliness was what she craved.
As month of this had gone on Hermione had become bored of the useless chatter online until one day she saw a familiar name. At first she thought she misread the name. She looked at it again and realized she has read it correctly. She clicked on the name a sent a simple message of Hello.
She instantly got a reply. Just one sentence of
"Hello Granger long time no see."
