The Intervention

After the second task of the Triwizard Tournament, the tension was palpable at Hogwarts. Harry had faced the aquatic creatures, solved the riddle of the dragon egg, and shown exemplary courage, but he still remained oblivious to what was going on around him. The Weasley twins continued to make advances on him, but Harry didn't understand the intent behind their actions, which became a source of frustration for everyone, including his closest friends: Hermione, Ron, and the teachers.

As the weeks that followed, the Hogwarts professors became increasingly concerned about Harry's inability to understand the twins' feelings and the dynamics that were playing out around him. Lupin, after having been in denial for a long time, had finally begun to face reality. Harry, who had survived so many dangerous adventures, now found himself immersed in a more intimate and emotional struggle: to understand that the Weasley twins were madly in love with him.

The plan to resolve this situation took shape in a teachers' room at the end of February. McGonagall, Lupin, Dumbledore, Hermione, and Ron met to discuss how best to help Harry understand what was going on. Although the professors, especially Dumbledore, were reluctant to force such a confrontation, they all agreed on one thing: something had to change. Harry, in his state of incomprehension, was in danger of losing himself in this situation without ever realizing the truth.

"We have to make him understand," McGonagall said, his tone firm but compassionate. "We cannot let him continue like this. The twins are too attached to him, and Harry, he's too innocent to grasp how they feel."

Lupin, still preoccupied but now out of his denial, nodded thoughtfully. "He has to understand. But perhaps a little more of a ... radical... could work."

Dumbledore, intervening wisely but tinged with sadness, added: "I am aware that this could be perceived as an intrusion. However, we have to take into account Harry's well-being. We need to make sure he doesn't get into a relationship based on ignorance."

The teachers agreed that a controlled situation should be created where Harry could not run away or ignore what was happening. He had to understand, in a clear and obvious way, how the twins felt about him. And to do this, they had decided to confront him with reality in a new way.

The plan was simple but radical. Dumbledore, though reluctant, had agreed to help them. Lupin, in his role as teacher and mentor, would take on the role of mediator. The Weasley twins were willing to accept this situation, although they didn't know exactly what was going to happen.

So, one morning in February, the professors put their plan into action. They locked Harry in a special room at Hogwarts with the twins, removing his wand to prevent him from escaping or casting a spell by reflex.

"Harry, you're staying here until you finally understand," McGonagall said authoritatively before closing the door behind her. "You need to see things from a different perspective."

Harry, still oblivious to the situation, frowned and tried to understand why he was there. But, as always, he did not grasp everything. The Weasley twins exchanged a hesitant look, but they knew that this was their only chance to get a reaction from Harry.

"Well, Harry... you can't say we didn't leave you clues," Fred said with a mischievous smile, though he was nervous.

George, more thoughtful, added, "We know you're completely out west... But it's time to understand."

Outside the room, Harry's teachers and friends, including Ron and Hermione, listened intently through a listening spell. This spell allowed them to hear without being seen, so they could monitor the situation without directly interfering.

All were tense, some worried that Harry would react badly, others hoping that he would eventually understand what was going on around him. Ron, pale with nervousness, wondered if this method would be effective, while Hermione, disappointed, still did not understand how Harry could remain in the dark.

"He has to understand... otherwise, we'll all lose patience eventually," Hermione whispered.

The twins began interacting with Harry in a way he had never experienced before. Fred turned to him and said, "You know, Harry... We've always been there for you. Not just as friends, but... as more."

Harry, as usual, remained totally impervious to this kind of statement. "Really? You mean we're friends, right?" he replied, shrugging his shoulders.

The twins, distraught, exchanged a glance before attempting a more direct approach. "You know, Harry, you haven't seen all the signs. We love you, and it's time for you to understand it."

Harry, still in his unconscious state, shrugged his shoulders, confused but more amused than anything else. "Uh, ok... But what are you talking about, exactly?"

At that moment, on the other side of the door, the teachers could hear the twins' growing frustration and Harry's confused reaction, who, true to form, remained in total incomprehension.

The plan had just begun, and the teachers hoped that this direct confrontation would make Harry react... But one thing was certain: the road would be long and perilous before he understood.
