The Prefects' Bathroom and Harry....
Between January and February, there was a palpable tension at Hogwarts as students prepared for the second task of the Triwizard Tournament. As the tournament was in full swing, the Weasley twins continued to think about Harry and their plan to seduce, which, while still in limbo, was not abandoned. They were still looking for a way to capture his attention and make him understand how they felt. However, Harry's persistent unconsciousness left them in a state of almost unbearable frustration.
One day, as the twins were walking through the halls, they stumbled upon Cedric Diggory, the Hufflepuff champion, who approached them with a serious look. Cedric, having already figured out that the twins had a plan to seduce Harry, came up with an idea that he thought could help them. He knew that Harry had not yet found the solution to his dragon egg and thought that the twins could play a role in resolving this impasse, while also attracting more attention from him.
"You know, don't you?" began Cedric, staring at them. "To solve the dragon egg clue, you have to dive into the icy water of the Black Lake. It's a key clue, but he hasn't figured out how to do it yet."
The twins looked at each other with shining eyes, immediately understanding what Cedric was getting at. An opportunity had just emerged.
"And why does it concern us?" asked Fred with a mischievous smile.
Cédric hesitated, searching for his words. "I think you have to be cunning to get Harry to react. He is too much in his bubble to understand otherwise. And I admit that the clue could be... at the bottom of the lake. To open it, you have to dive."
He leaned in slightly and whispered in a low voice, "I have the password to the Prefects' bathroom, and I know Harry needs answers, but he won't find them without a helping hand. The idea is to help him solve the riddle, while showing him that he has other things to discover."
The twins exchanged a furtive glance. Cedric suggested that they play on Harry's total unconsciousness, taking advantage of the fact that he remained impervious to attempts at seduction by revealing the clue to him underwater, while leading him to a more private place.
"And... Will that help him understand?" asked George, a wry smile.
"Of course, but we'll have to make him comfortable. Use the clues, the secret vibe, and the location. He won't understand everything, but it could open him up a bit."
Cedric, with a smirk, gave them the password: "Use this room. This is the perfect place for your little maneuver. "
The twins took the password, their eyes sparkling with mischief. They looked at each other excited by this new opportunity. Harry, meanwhile, would be even more oblivious than before, but the twins had a new weapon in their hands: the underwater clue and access to an intimate place that could help him become aware, in one way or another, of what was going on around him.
A few days later, the twins put their plan into action. They invited Harry to join them in the prefects' bathroom, claiming an important discussion about the Tournament and directions for the second task. Harry, true to form, didn't understand anything about their intention and agreed without question. He hadn't even noticed that the twins had, deep in their hearts, intentions that were very different from just discussing the tournament.
Arriving in the prefects' bathroom, Harry followed them without suspecting the twins' hidden purpose. The latter began to lead the conversation towards the egg clue. By showing him the place where he had to dive to solve the riddle, they subtly played on the fact that he was going to have to get wet, without revealing too much.
"So, Harry, did you think about the egg underwater? There's a clue in it... But you'll have to dive for that."
Harry, still utterly ignorant, raised his eyebrows as he looked at Fred and George. "Uh... I haven't figured out how to do it yet...", he says, rubbing his head, unsure.
The twins exchanged a satisfied look, preparing to launch their trap. However, despite their efforts, Harry remained completely oblivious to the twins' attempts to seduce him. He still thought it was just jokes and advice from friends, nothing more. When they tried to get closer to one of the corners of the room, he gently pushed them away.
"Okay, I'll practice solving the clue. You two are real cases."
The twins, despite their frustration, let out a small sigh as they looked at each other. "If you knew, Harry, if you knew...", Fred whispered to George.
Although the clue underwater was revealed and they showed Harry the way to the solution, the twins' attempt to seduce them was far from successful. Harry seemed totally lost, as if the whole scene was just boring him. The twins, frustrated but determined not to give up, exchanged glances and understood that they would have to continue their game of patience. But, despite everything, they knew that until Harry understood how they felt, their efforts would always be doomed to failure.
