Connecting with a newfound twin
*Ginny's POV*
* at the burrow*
WHAT! I HAVE A TWIN! WHY DIDN'T MUM AND DAD METION THIS BEFORE? WHY DIDN'T I KNOW? WHY DID NOBODY KNOW? SURELY BILL, CHARLIE AND MAYBE PERCY REMEMBER? WHY DID NO ONE THINK TO INFORM ME!
"What? Why didn't you tell me Mum, Dad?" I questioned.
" To be honest Ginny, I didn't know either. It didn't mention in the letter that I found that I am a twin." Hermione, I mean Lilly, that is going to be hard to get used to, said.
" We didn't tell you Gin, because, we didn't want to drop the weight of you having a lost twin." Mum responded. " We thought it was what was best for you at the time... after Lilly was taken, we thought we had truly lost her." Me and Lilly made are way towards Mum and tightly hugged her.
" Oh Lilly, you should probably put the glamour charm back on, we can tell your brothers at dinner tonight." Mentioned Dad. So Lilly picked up her wand from where she had placed it on the table, and under her breath muttered the glamour charm, turning her back into the Hermione I knew. This adjustment wasn't going to be difficult. Me and Hermione were already so close, just like sisters.
" Oh wait, Mum, Dad," I said, everyone's attention turned to me, " Which one of us is older? I ant to know if I get older sibling privileges against Lilly."
*Hermioe/Lilly's POV*
I started to laugh, that was such a Ginny thing to say! Only her would care about who was older! I knew she was fed up of always being the youngest, so of course she would be the one to ask this question.
"Hmmmmm... I think it was ... I think it was Ginny who was the oldest." Awwww, I was kind of sad I wasn't the oldest, but I was glad that Ginny got her way. When she was mad, it was not a good thing. Her temper would get uncontrollable."
*Ginnys POV*
"YESSSSSS! I'M FINALLY NOT THE YOUNGEST!" I shouted, I am so sos so happy, finally not the baby of the family. All of a sudden, I had an excellent idea for a prank me and Lilly could pull at dinner.
" Lilly, come on, I have an excellent idea, come with me!" I grabbed hold of Hermione, practically dragging her to my room. Once I had shut the door, I excitedly said, " I have the mot excellent idea for a prank we can pull on our brothers! Basically, at dinner, we need to sit next to each other, and i lean over, grab something of your plate and say something along the lines of : Sorry Lilly, I get this blah-blah-blah, you know, older twin privileges!"
" OMG yes! That is such a good idea, but what if none of them catch on?"
" Well, Bill definitely will, he was 11 when we were born. Oh and Charlie will, if he is here, he would have been 9. Percy would have been 5, so he might, but George and Ron probably won't. George would have been 3, and Ron would have only have been 1."
" Wait Gin, I just realised, when I dated Ron, wouldn't I have been technically dating my brother? Ugh, imagine if we had stayed together, and have had kids, that would have been scary!"
" I know right! I wonder how all our brothers will take the news! I mean, finding out you have a sibling, but the person who is your new sibling was already your friend beforehand? There is a small world!"
" I know! Come on, we should twin with our outfits, and I can take the glamour charm of, we can style our hair the same, before I put it back on, so when I take it off again, no one can tell the difference! 2 pranks in one! Boom!" I high-fived Lilly, she had come up it's such a good idea, 2 pranks in one!"
