Never abused mentally or physically by anyone. He grew up learning all about magic and the stories of his biological parents. Never went a day without feeling loved and cared for. He grew up knowing Sirius and Remus weren’t his real parents but also loved them like they were his biological parents. Harry Potter was blood and magically adopted by Sirius Black so Harry’s last name was Black. Harry always corrected anyone who was used Potter not because he didn’t know who his biological parents were but because he would always be a Black.

This is my first ever fanfiction so i hope you enjoy it. I don’t know how often I will post but if it gains the slightest bit of attention or if I see even one person enjoying it I will post more frquently.

The boy who lived no longer went by potter but by black because he would always be a Black. After all, it was Sirius Black who had magically and by blood had adopted him. He knew who his biological parents were but also knew that he wanted the world to recognize the two men who raised him. Sirius Black and Remus Lupin or to Harry, dad and pops, were the two men who stepped up and raised him in a home full of life and love.
He didn’t grow in 12 Grimmauld Place he grew up in a manor not too far from Draco Malfoy as the black family had many estates all over the world. Harry grew up surrounded by people who loved him and only wanted the best for him including Narcissa Malfoy-Black, Andromeda Tonks, Lucius Malfoy and their father Cygnus Black. Cygnus, knowing Sirius’s parents and Harry’s biological grandparents on both sides were no longer alive and stepped up as Harry’s grandparent and spoiled both Harry and Draco endlessly. Narcissa and Andromeda reconnected after Sirius got Harry to help him raise the boy. Lucius only showed his kind and loving side to his family so Harry didn’t grow up fearing the man but knowing that he could trust him. Harry grew up with Neville Longbottom, Draco Malfoy, Theodore Nott, Blaise Zabini, Pansy Parkinson, and Mattheo Riddle.
Since most of the other families he grew up around were mostly slytherin harry grew up knowing that Slytherin house isn’t and inherently a bad house just a house that has a bad reputation but he was still sorted into gryffindor though Sirius thinks that is just because harry wanted to be like him and Remus. Harry became friends with a red headed boy and curly haired girl. Who both took some time to adjust to his childhood friends simply because they were Slytherins who were also kind of crazy at times but they were quickly added into the group of chaos.
