Dear Mrs Malfoy,

I know this letter may come as quite the surprise, but I just wanted to thank you properly for saving my life.
So, thank you.
How are you doing?
How is Draco?
I hope you and your son can recover quickly from the war, and I am sorry about your husband.
If you or Draco ever find that you need something, I'd be happy to do what I can to help.
It feels only right, as I owe my life to you.

Harry folded the letter.
He turned to Hedwig - yes, she had survived that fall. She had only been unconcious.
"Come on, Hedwig. I've got a little task for you."
The snowy owl hooted and hopped onto Harry's shoulder.
Harry smiled as she nipped his ear affectionately, as she always did upon departing.
After Hedwig had hopped down from his shoulder, Harry bound the letter around her leg and gave her a last seed, fuel for the flight.
Harry watched her fly off to Malfoy Manor.
