The air was tense as Endymion, Reiko, and Syaoran stood at the edge of the training grounds, staring toward the horizon. The disturbance they had sensed was growing stronger. The Earth itself pulsed beneath their feet, warning them.
Clow arrived moments later, his robes whispering against the wind. His sharp gaze took in the three of them, then flickered toward the unseen force ahead. “You felt it too.”
Endymion nodded. “Something is coming. The Earth is responding to it.”
Syaoran placed a hand on the ground, his expression darkening as he focused. “It’s not just any presence. It’s something foreign. Something that shouldn’t be here.”
Reiko’s grip tightened around the Earth Gem, feeling the energy inside it swirl in response. “Then we need to be ready.”

Without another word, Clow raised a hand, and the magic around them shifted. The wind stilled, the earth trembled, and suddenly, the very air thickened with power.
Reiko and Syaoran barely had time to react before a barrier formed around them—trapping them inside a dome of shimmering light.
Endymion turned sharply. “Clow, what is this?”
The sorcerer’s expression remained unreadable. “A test. You’ve been training for control, but now I need to see if you’re truly prepared for what’s coming.”
Inside the barrier, the twins exchanged glances before nodding.
“We’ll break through,” Syaoran said simply.
They reached for the bond—Terra awakening between them. The Earth Gem pulsed, responding to their call, and the power of Terra surged outward. The ground cracked beneath their feet as the barrier strained under their combined force.
Outside, Endymion felt his own magic flare in response. The Golden Crystal at his chest glowed, its warmth grounding him. This was more than just power—it was a connection to something ancient, something that had been passed down through generations.
But the moment he focused on his magic, the shadows lurking in the distance stirred.
A sharp pain shot through his chest, and he staggered, clutching at the Golden Crystal.
Kunzite was at his side in an instant. “What’s wrong?”
Endymion’s breathing was ragged. “Something… wants my power.”
The Unseen Threat
The shadow on the horizon moved closer, shifting like a storm cloud, yet it had no form. It wasn’t a person, but it wasn’t just energy either. It was something alive.

Reiko and Syaoran finally shattered the barrier, their energy rippling outward in a wave of gold and green light.
Reiko turned to Clow. “Then it looks like our test is over. Time to face the real thing.”
