Bound by Fate II
The bond had been meant to protect them.
Now, it threatened to break them apart.
Endymion’s Departure
When Endymion left for the Moon Kingdom, the group expected the bond to weaken.
Instead, it only made things worse.
They could still feel him—his uncertainty, his determination.
And his pain.
Nephrite woke up in a cold sweat, clutching his chest.
Jadeite nearly collapsed in the middle of spell practice, his vision swimming.
Even Tranquility, usually composed, staggered in the middle of sword training.
“Something’s wrong,” Reiko whispered, eyes dark.
Clow’s expression was grim. “The bond won’t allow distance for long.”
Struggling for Control
The longer Endymion was gone, the more unstable the rest of them became.
Syaoran’s magic flared uncontrollably.
Yue’s emotions—usually so calm—became erratic.
Reiko and Tranquility found themselves drawn to each other in ways that were impossible to ignore.
“It’s like we’re being pulled back together,” Reiko muttered, gripping Tranquility’s wrist.
Tranquility’s golden eyes flickered. “Because we are.”
Clow, watching them all carefully, finally spoke. “If this continues, the bond will force you to reunite—whether you want to or not.”
A heavy silence fell over the room.
A New Danger
But before they could decide what to do, a new threat emerged.
The wards around Hogwarts trembled—distorted.
Something—or someone—was trying to break in.
Yue’s silver eyes narrowed. “It’s not Metallia.”
Reiko turned to Clow. “Then who?”
Clow’s voice was calm—but sharp.
“The only ones who could disrupt this bond... are the ones who created it.”
