The Eternal Bond

The days leading up to their departure were filled with preparation, both mental and physical. Tranquility and Endymion spent hours with the others, refining strategies, training, and ensuring they were prepared for the dangers ahead. But there was one thing they couldn’t ignore—the looming threat of Metallia’s corruption.

The Queen was not just powerful; she was insidious. Her magic twisted minds, sowing chaos and destruction from within. Even the strongest wills could be bent to her control.

They needed protection, something stronger than mere mental barriers.

It was Clow Reed who, after days of research, found the answer: an Eternal Soul Bond, a forgotten ritual capable of anchoring their spirits together.

"This bond is unlike anything known to modern magic," Clow explained as he stood before them in the grand hall of the Hogwarts estate. His voice was steady, though the weight of his words was unmistakable. "It is more than a simple connection. This is a binding of the soul itself. Once completed, your spirits will be permanently linked. If one of you falters, the others will feel it. If one of you suffers, the pain will be shared."

A heavy silence filled the room.

Syaoran was the first to break it. "So if something happens to one of us…"

"We all suffer," Yue finished, his silver eyes unreadable.

Endymion straightened. "If this is what it takes to protect ourselves, then we do it."

His four guardians exchanged glances before stepping forward. "We swore to stand by you," one of them said. "That vow doesn’t change now."

Reiko turned to Tranquility, searching his face. "Are you sure about this?" she asked softly.

Tranquility met her gaze, his golden eyes unwavering. "I’d rather be bound to you forever than risk losing you."

Syaoran sighed, glancing at Yue. "Fine. Let’s do this."

Clow gestured for them to form a circle. As they stood facing one another, he began chanting in an ancient language, his hands tracing symbols in the air. The room pulsed with golden light, the magic swirling around them like threads weaving them together.

At first, it was slow—a gentle warmth, threading through their cores. Then, the true nature of the bond awakened.

A deep pull settled in their souls as their essences intertwined.

Memories surfaced. Reiko gasped as she saw herself standing with Tranquility beneath twin suns. Syaoran saw Yue reaching for him in another lifetime. Endymion saw his guardians at his side, just as they had always been.

The bond deepened, drawing in their thoughts, emotions, even their very existence.

Endymion's guardians stumbled slightly as their minds were opened to the connection. "I can feel him," one whispered, eyes wide. "I can feel all of them."

Another clenched his fist. "This is… overwhelming."

Tranquility felt Reiko’s emotions before she even spoke—a mixture of love, concern, and unwavering trust. It was overwhelming, but it was also comforting.

Syaoran’s thoughts echoed through his mind—his fierce need to protect Yue, his silent worries. Yue’s quiet strength surrounded them like a steady pulse. And through it all, Endymion’s presence remained strong, a constant anchor, as his guardians melded into the connection, their loyalty becoming a part of them all.

At last, Clow’s voice rose in finality, sealing the bond.

"This bond is complete. You are now linked—mind, body, and soul. Trust each other. Protect each other. And above all… never break."

The light dimmed, but the connection remained—undeniable, inescapable, eternal.

Tranquility opened his eyes. He felt them—all of them. Their hearts, their emotions, their presence. They were now as much a part of him as his own soul.

Syaoran exhaled, rubbing his forehead. "I can feel you all in my head."

"Get used to it," Tranquility said, smirking.

Reiko turned to Yue. "What about you?"

Yue met her gaze, then glanced at Syaoran. "It is… different. But not unpleasant."

Syaoran shifted slightly, then nodded. "Yeah. Same here."

Endymion placed a hand over his chest, feeling the pulse of the bond. His guardians looked at him, and for the first time, he didn’t need words to understand them.

They were bound. Forever.

Reiko squeezed Tranquility’s hand. "No matter what happens… we’re together."

"As one," Endymion said firmly.

They knew that whatever lay ahead—Metallia’s darkness, fate’s trials, even death itself—they would never stand alone.

The Eternal Soul Bond had made sure of that.

And nothing—not even Queen Metallia—could break them now.
