Swords, Spells, and Stolen Moments

Training continued as fiercely as ever. The mornings were spent with Godric Gryffindor, whose swordsmanship was as brutal as his teaching methods. The afternoons were devoted to Salazar Slytherin, who trained them in stealth, strategy, and dueling. Evenings were filled with spellcraft from Rowena Ravenclaw, and battle formations from Helga Hufflepuff.

Endymion, ever the disciplined warrior, excelled in both magic and swordplay. His four guardians—Jadeite, Nephrite, Zoisite, and Kunzite—trained alongside him, often sparring against Tranquility and Syaoran. The friendly rivalry between them had led to some truly spectacular duels.

But Yue and Syaoran were becoming a different kind of spectacle.

Reiko and Tranquility sat on the sidelines one afternoon, watching as Yue personally guided Syaoran through his control of moon magic. The normally composed guardian had been spending more and more time with the young warrior, and it was becoming painfully obvious why.

Yue’s cold demeanor softened around Syaoran. His patience extended beyond the usual stoicism he offered others, his touches lingering just a fraction too long when correcting Syaoran’s form.

And Syaoran—normally stubborn and prideful—actually listened.

“They’re ridiculous,” Reiko muttered as she watched Yue place his hand over Syaoran’s, guiding his spellwork.

“Very,” Tranquility agreed, amused.

“Should we say something?”

“Absolutely not. This is far too entertaining.”

Reiko smirked. “Agreed.”

As the days passed, the estate where they lived became more like a home. Even Godric and Salazar, despite their own complicated romance, had taken a liking to their students.

It wasn’t perfect—there were still rivalries, challenges, and looming threats from beyond their peaceful training. But, for now, they had each other.

And, for Tranquility, that was enough.
