Note
I have not read nor watched the movies in years so this is very ooc and not canon. English is also not my first language

Severus had learned young that life was neither easy nor fair.

He had seen how other parents looked at their children with love and care. At one point he would have done anything to get parents who looked at him in the same way. His home life had not been normal

Severus sat in the living room of his childhood home in Spinner's End, Cokeworth. He had inherited the house after his parents died. The house held memories, secrets and pain, yet Severus had nowhere else to live. Nor did he deserve to live anywhere else. At 5 years old he had learned that he was worthless His mother had been a witch, and a rather skilled one. But his father, a muggle, hated magic and anything to do with the wizarding world. His mother's wand had been locked away by his father and magic forbidden in the house. Severus knew that his father blamed him for the problems in his life, like his bad marriage. His family was poor and whatever little money they had his father spent mostly on alcohol. When drunk his father was angry and abusive. He would yell at both his wife and child, and throw objects and hit. Sometimes he would not allow Severus to eat for days. Severus was used to hunger and even as an adult he could not eat a lot at a time. He was skinny, his ribs visible under his many layers of clothing and his face sunken. Lily had made his life better, she was home and safety. Her parents were kind and their house was lively, unlike his. But Severus had ruined their friendship by being foolish and because of him Lily had died. Severus had killed her. He had found the body of his mother on the bathroom floor. Her eyes had been empty of any dim light they had once held. She had killed herself with sleeping pills. Severus had killed his mother when he was 13. Rather ironic, as thirteen was the unlucky number after all.

His father he had found dead on the couch in their living room. He had drank himself dead. Severus had not felt bad for the motherfucker, but he knew he would meet him in hell. Severus had been 17.

Severus snapped out of his thoughts as the mark on his hand started burning. The Dark Lord was calling him
