The talk

“Okay talk.”

“Not here.”

Remus grabbed her hand and helped her up. She quickly waved goodbye to her friends and followed Remus back into the castle to an empty classroom.

“Yes, I need to brew the potion for a friend but I can’t find the recipe anywhere.”

“You could just buy it.”

“I don’t have enough money and it’s for a minor. We don’t have parental consent.”

Lilly hesitated for a second but continued speaking.
“The recipe is in a book in professor Slughorn’s office. You’d need to break into his office. It’s also in another language so you’d need to figure out which one to be able to translate it. You’d be breaking many school rules and the law once this minor you speak of has consumed it.”

“Okay thank you. I’ll figure it out.” He turned to walk away.

Lilly quickly grabbed his hand, turning him around. “Who said I wouldn’t help?” She smiled.
“Once you have the book you could show it to Regulus, from what I heard there are a million books in different languages at the Black manor. Chances are with a few words he’ll be able to figure it out.”

“I don’t know, I don’t know him very well, I doubt he’d help.”

“Talk to Sirius, he’ll be able to convince his brother.”

“I could ask Sirius to do it.”

“And he’d do it?”

Silence. “No.”

“Excactly. Either Sirius convinces him or I do.”

“You know Regulus?”

“No but I know Evan a bit. He’d sneak me into the Slytherin commonroom and I’ll talk to Regulus. It’s what you prefer.”

“I don’t know if I can trust Sirius with this..”

“I’ll do it.”

With that she left the room, heading to the great hall for dinner, which was starting in five minutes. When she arrived the door was open and her friends were already there.

She sat next to them and luckily they didn’t question her unusual exit not long ago. She watched Remus sit alone instead of with his friends. That was odd.

She started to wonder who this friend of his could be. Is there anyone who was absent on the nights of the full moon? She’d have to pay attention to it. The next full moon was in two days so she didn’t have to wait long.

She was going to figure this out one way or another.
