Shortly after their goddaughter Sammy Leroux-Mewis was born Ali and Ashlyn annoucente that they were having a baby girl in April. Ali had purchased a baby pink mini surfboard with their due in engraved with big letters say “It’s A Girl”. Ali’s brother-law had gotten the surfboard for Ali since he knew where to buy them. Meanwhile Ashlyn changed into her wetsuit Ali set the new surfboard next to her wife’s board. The bright pink is the first thing she noticed that she just took a quick look and turned around to pick up and hug Ali. “We are having a princesses”
Alex and Tobin had hit the 5 month mark they were extremely excited to know what they were having. Alex wanted the nursery to be painted since they found out they were expecting however Tobin wanted to painted according to the gender either blue and green or pink and purple. Now that they lived in a house in the out skirts of Portland for privacy purposes. A 2 story house with several big rooms that had a spacious backyard with a small goal set up in the middle of the yard a porch with with a swing chair that both of then fit on.
With all the extra attention they were getting for the pregnancy Nike wanted more photoshoots and several other companies wanted Alex to be the face of the their company. End less shoots and press conferences paid off when Alex totaled up the earning more than enough to purchase their dream home. Baby companies without seeing baby Morgan-Heath born they wanted the baby to be the face of the company. The baby was already making money without even being born yet.
Alex made sure to book a photoshoot for Tobin on the day they would find out what they were having because she wanted to surprise Tobin. She had gotten gender releling ideas from a couple of friend and the internet of course. Tobin had been okay with it at because she wasn’t aware of the date however when she realized that she was missing one of the most important appointment of the pregnancy she groan and complained has she got dressed putting on whatever was her reach make a statement on how upset she was.
Tobin: “Do I really have to go to the shoot I want to go with you”
Alex: “Yes Tobin you have to go”
Tobin: “But wife … “
Alex: “But wife nothing now better get going before your late and make you stay longer but if you leave now you will make it back sooner and I will tell you once your home”
Tobin: “Ugh fine I love you babe”
Once her wife had left she went back into the room to get dressed for her doctors appointment. Yoga pants with a black over sized hoodie with black Nikes Ashlyn had rubbed off on Alex on black black on black style. Her baby bump wasn’t noticeable under the hoodie. Alex was thankful her wife had left first since the Jeep was in her way to open the BMW door. Neither wanted to give up their vehicles for a more baby safe car both being stubborn about it in the end they were okay with the cars they had since they weren’t sports cars.
Doctor Barrett’s office was empty as usual for when Alex had appointments since she wanted the couple to feel secure and way from the media trying to spoil what gender they were having before Tobin knew. Alex was glad their doctor provided them privacy. However her favorite part of her visits where that Dr. Barrett warms up the gel so its not cold.
Dr. Barret: “Lets see if baby Morgan-Heath is photogenic like usual they tend to act all shy when it comes to knowing what sex they are… Where’s Tobin? She was so excited when I told her the next appointment we would be finding out the gender”
Alex: “Well I want to surprise Tobin so I booked a photoshoot for her right now I have a planned a scavenger hunt for her after the shoot ”
Dr. Barret: “Thats so sweet I expect to see the video in your next visit, well lets see if baby is shy today”
The doctor applied the warm gel over Alex’s baby bump spreading it out evenly moved around trying to find the best angle to see the baby. Before the doctor spoke again she turned up the volume on the monitor so Alex should hear the baby’s strong heart beat “Looks like the baby is more photogenic than usual let me take a look here to measure. Well Congratulations Alex you guys are expecting a …” Alex was over the moon when the news she just kept looking down at the ultrasound her smile went for ear to ear .
Tobin groaned everything time they had her do more poses or changed into different outfits all she wanted was to be with her wife. 2 hours later they told her she was free to leave that they would contact her when they would release the new photos. She walked outside to her Jeep got in like usual until she noticed there was a paper taped to the wheel.

Tobin should of know her wife was up to something she though of the shoot on how they kept wasting time make her do weird poses that she had never done. Once she thought about the clue she started up the Jeep and headed out to the small coffee shop Alex loves to go.
She walked in examine the place before hearing her name being called by their favorite barista. “Tobin … Tobin …” She finally looked and walked her way to receive the next clue.
Barista: “Alex left this for you she said you can have your next clue once you join your usual cup of coffee and plain bagel. Find me when your done”
Tobin: “Thanks”
Taking her drink to her usual table looking out the window taking in the view she hadn’t seen for 5 months. Since the cup of coffee was bit to hot she began to respond to some emails and go on social media 10 minutes had passed by and she was ton with her coffee and bagel. Tobin gets up from her chair to look for the barista has she started to scan the room for her she shows up giving Tobin a little scare. “Here is your clue have fun”.

Alex had developed a thing for weird flavors of ice cream none that you could buy at any store. Tobin headed out to a small Italian ice cream parlor which that to have the weird random flavors that now happen to Alex’s favorite specially at night.
Luigi: “Tobin how nice to see you during the day Alex sending you for more of ice cream?”
Tobin: “No not this time she has me on a scavenger hunt looking for clues clue number 3 happens to be here”
Luigi: “Oh yes I almost forgot that she had came by earlier she said to give you this and to hurry”
Tobin: “Thank you I sure will”
~CLUE #3: I could have you go all over Portland but I don’t want to torture you. Now meet in the place we fell in love at ~
Tobin did not have to think twice about where her last clue was at. The Portland thorn stadium was a 30 minute 25 minute drive from the ice cream parlor that was now their favorite. She put urned up her radio sing and dancing her way to se her wife. When she pulled up into the stadium she went into the locker room first to freshen up change of clothes and brushed her hair.
Several small signs leaded Tobin to the middle of the field. 3 boxes where placed at the half circle Alex stood behind box #1. “Open them babe”. Tobin reaches over to open the box yellow balloons came out she said the sign “It’s” then moved on to the next box struggling to open the box the tape was hard to rip open. Yellow balloons again came out “A”. As she walked towards the 3rd box her heart rate began to raise palms began to sweat. After finally controlling her emotions she was able to the last box. Tons of different shade of pink balloons began to float from the box she didn’t need to read the sign to know they were having a girl.
Tobin: “You said the baby didn’t want to be photogenic today”
Alex: “Well I mmmmm kinda lied about that she was extremely photogenic today babe”
Tobin: “Well I want to see for myself”

Alex had the ultrasound to her wife who was over the moon about the announcement. Tobin got slower to the baby bump got down on one knee and began to talk to the baby only making Alex smile even more. Every time Tobin talked to their baby it made Alex’s heart swell and burst of happiness.
Allie came out of no where to show the couple the video. Her job was to help Alex come up and set the clues as well as text their teammates to go ahead an paint the nursery for the couple. Since Alex couldn’t be around the fumes of the paints it would give the paint time to air out.
Alex: “Allie your the best you got the whole thing We owe you big time we will be save you from babysitting duty”
Tobin: “Send them to me yeah please?
