Chapter 3
“If anyone was looking at the sky that night, they would have witnessed stars start to dance as constellations began to rearrange and Lexa’s lifeless body was stripped from this world only to be reborn in another. Her body fizzled as she turned into stars and was placed into the sky, an endless eternity of galaxies and stars. Lexa and Clarke were now part of that eternity, together, as she completed Clarke’s constellation.”
“And so Clarke was returned to The Kingdom above the stars and it flooded with joy as everybody rejoiced for their long lost princess was finally home. This time Clarke and Lexa would rule over the sky and stars together with no one stopping them. This time their army of stars would protect them.”
She flipped the page and continued “When people looked up at the sky that night they would see a new constellation: the outline of a lost princess who fell from the sky and was meant to rule over a kingdom one day, holding a sword that looked just like the last one the kingdom’s only blacksmith’s daughter had made.”

Octavia finished slowly and close the book. She looked around the room and smiled as she saw the infatuation in her student’s eyes. They just sat their quietly, thinking about the story they just heard. They sat for about two minutes until Maya flopped over dramatically and whispered “My heart just exploded”
Octavia smiled even wider than before and asked “so did you guys like the story?”
A million yes’ were shouted in her direction. She stood up and walked to her desk and placed the book in her bag as the students made their way to their own desks and off the carpet. Quietly she said “Well I’m glad you enjoyed it” more to herself then the children.
The kids began talking again, this time about nonsense, as if the story they just heard was forgotten. Octavia still smiled though, these children may be little but they won’t forget this story. For nothing is ever truly forgotten.
Once upon a time a princess was born in a faraway kingdom that only the planets and stars knew about. She was raised by her mother and father to rule over the sky with a kind heart. She was worshipped by all and learned to love the little things. The kingdom above the sky was content as they watched the princess grow throughout the years. Everyone was happy and everything was good for a long time.
Then again everything is fine until something happens and all the happiness just fades away…
The princess was stolen from the sky one night, not even her army of stars could protect her. Stripped from the heavens and forced down into the mortal world. The kingdom flooded with despair and sorrow for their lost princess.
But do not grow weary for every princess must receive a happy ending, even if it is not in the way we all expect it to be. After all this is just a story, some may even call it a fairytale…
At least that what they want you to think, and don’t ask who “they” are because that, that is for you to decide
