Summary
Based on the Myth of Anastasia A young IceWing Princess survives the slaughter of her family, narrowly escaping with her life. Raised by the MudWings- she has to regain her memories- and reclaim her place as the true ruler of the IceWings. In the Sky Kingdom, a dragon with no fire nor no wings, struggles to be accepted. He wants to do great things for his tribe, and the world. The only dragon who truly believes in him is his sister, but is her faith in him enough? And on the continent of Pantala, the dragons start to form a new type of government. In the middle of this is a young LeafWing-SilkWing hybrid, who is soon to have an important role in the new system. Thousands of years after the destruction of the other mind, the world is once again changing- but whether it is for the better is unknown.

Chapter One

Aurora

 

 

The young IceWing Princess folded her wings behind her as she pulled herself out of the water, shaking herself dry. 

 

 

 

Aurora looked behind her, before flying off, carrying the seal body with her. She landed on one of the balconies, walking through the window. 

 

 

 

Just a few days ago, she turned six years old. One more year, and she would be officially an adult. 

 

 

 

She walked down the hallway, to her younger brother’s room. He had been born with

Seal had always been his favorite, so she had caught him one, since due to his condition, her father didn’t allow him to hunt on his own. 

 

 

 

 

Avalanche poked his head out of his room, holding a book he’d been reading. His face broke out into a smile when he saw the seal. 

 

 

 

 

“Thanks sis!” he beamed, nuzzling his head into her chest. She smiled down at him, gently wrapping her wings around him. 

 

 

 

“I know it’s your favorite.” she said, nudging him with her snout. 

 

 

 

 

He smiled once again before leaning down to start eating his meal. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. 

 

 

 

Her heart sank to the bottom of her stomach when she realized who they were. 

 

 

 

 

The guards. This had to be about the revolution. If they guards had to be here, right now, on a peaceful day, then things must have been getting really, really bad. 

 

 

 

 

“Your Highnesses… you must go to your parents and siblings right now. You must hide away. You have to save yourselves. The revolutionaries are coming for you. And if they do find you… you will die.”
