A knock on the door makes Jayce jump from where he sits on the couch, book on engineering in hand, one he had left from last time he spent the night at Caitlyn’s house.
“I’ll get it.” She quickly says, standing up from where she sat next to him.
Jayce puts his book down after a slipping a bookmark in, immediately standing up and hugging Viktor when he walks in; trying to get back with that smell, the feel of his body. It was a lot different considering the newfound height difference, but he can move past it.
“I’ve missed you." He says, pushing his forehead against his.
He sees Vi do the same to Caitlyn in the corner of his eye.
“Dude times up give me my body back.” Vi says, punching his shoulder.
“How does it feel to be tall?” Jace teases.
“No seriously! All your clothes are ugly and I can’t bring myself to kiss my girlfriend.” She says.
“I didn’t do anything!” He says defensively.
“Well- take me back I don’t care.” Vi scoffs and sits down.
“It’s weird seeing me sit down.” Jayce says.
“I need a drink.” Caitlyn says, Viktor quickly agreeing and following to help her in the kitchen.
“Do they believe you?” Vi asks him when they’re in the kitchen.
“No.” He sighs, sitting down next to Vi. “That’s what I look like with stubble?”
“Yeah, it isn’t a good look.”
“It’ll look better grown out.”
“Fucking better, how do you live like this it’s so uncomfortable.”
Jayce chuckles before some drinks come into the room, Jayce takes himself a beer and Vi some wine.
“Jayce I thought you hated wine?” Viktor says.
“I’m Vi!” She complains.
“Are we gonna switch taste buds?” Jayce asks
“Hope not.”
Jayce takes a sip out of his beer, thankfully it still tasted nice.
“To the fact I now know the pain women go through every day and that ball pains are a minor headache compared to them.” Jayce says, raising his glass.
Everyone chuckles and agrees, clinking their glass and drinking.
“Hopefully when I wake up I’ll be me.” Jayce sighs.
Vi ──── ୨୧ ──── ೄྀ࿐ ˊˎ-
A few too many drinks in and way too many shots in everyone decides it’s time for bed.
That’s when things got hard.
“But you’re my cupcake I wanna share a bed with you.” Vi whines, leaning her head on Caitlyns’ shoulder
“Okay- but you’re Jayce, that feels wrong on so many levels.” Caitlyn counters.
“We’ve shared a bed before.” Jayce reminds her.
“When we were like 12 and 17 yeah.” She scoffed, the most sober out of everyone here.
“You only have two beds so everyone is going to have to double up.” Viktor told her, voice barely decipherable since his accent was so thick when he got drunk.
“What tha fuck did he say?” Vi asks poorly copying his accent which got a snort from him.
“How about we compromise and Jayce and Vi share a bed? No offence but I would not want to share a bed with Vi- Jayce- fucking.. Vayce.” Viktor grumbles.
“Oh that is smart.” Caitlyn agrees.
Vi and Jayce both protest but are quickly shut up by a shout from Caitlyn.
“Sorry plum.” Jayce mutters.
“It’s bedtime, come on..” Caitlyn says, standing up and giving viktor his cane while she takes everyone’s glasses to the kitchen.

“It feels weird seeing me rummaging in your drawers.” Jayce chuckles.
Vi rolls her eyes but grins nonetheless. “It’s nice being really fucking tall, I will say.” She shrugs, finding herself her biggest shirt.
“Fuck.”
“Need one.” Jayce agrees.
“Shut it, pretty boy. I ain’t got any bottoms that will fit your monstrously sized legs.” She says.
“I might have some in the guest room from when I was last here.”
“You don’t.” Caitlyn weighs in. “Remember I gave them back to you like ages ago.” She says and then hands them each a toothbrush since they didn’t know what to do.
“There’s probably a solution we can find in the lab to get you back if you don’t wake up normal, either way I’m going over this in The lab. Who knows, Jayce, maybe we can force it upon someone with the runes.”He says to Jayce.
It seemed only Viktor had believed Vi and Jayce, which isn’t surprising considering he knew that consciousness could change when he literally changed hundreds of people’s fate a couple years ago. Caitlyn was very sceptical, it didn’t help that Vi and Jayce would often pull pranks on their lovers.
“I’ll go to the lab with you.” He agrees.
“Top ten things I have never said.” Vi chuckles.
“It does feel very weird hearing Vi’s voice say that she wants to go to the lab.” Caitlyn chuckles.
“Get out now, and go sleep. Hopefully in the morning you’re back to normal.” Viktor says, pushing their shoulders when both of them have collected night garments.
“Night gang!” Jayce says, everyone goodbye-ing and they all go to bed.
