I'll Bury My Future Behind
Yuu realized almost immediately that running off was a bad idea. He had no idea where anything, excluding the front door and kitchen, was. I mean, sure, he could go and ask Guren or Shinya, but he preferred to not return right after an argument. Luckily for him, the house wasn’t too big, and apparently, what little things he owned had already been moved to his room so, he could hopefully find it on his own.
He wandered down the hallway and tried the last door on the right.
As the door slowly opened, he poked his head through the crack, allowing him to see a velvety looking bed. Beside the bed on the left side sat a black end table. On top of the table sat a lightly tarnished picture frame. As Yuu stepped forward to inspect it, he realized it was Guren and Shinya. The two men were wearing matching suits, though Shinya’s was black with a white bowtie, and Guren’s was white with a black bowtie. The fifteen-year-old was surprised to see that a grin sat on Guren’s usually smug face. Both of them were blushing, and Guren had his arm gently wrapped around Shinya’s waist. Rings that Yuuichiro had probably overlooked in person hugged their fingers lightly.
After staring at the picture for a few moments, Yuu scurried from the room, not wanting to be caught snooping. He crept across the hall and opened the other door. He released a small sigh of relief when he saw his bag sitting on the pristine white covers.
This room, like the rest of the house, was fairly dull. The walls were a dark grey with forest green accents lining the baseboards.
After creeping in and shutting the door, Yuu tossed his clothes haphazardly into a small dresser. He flopped down on the bed and stared up at the ceiling, his mind drifting. It wasn't too long before he'd fallen asleep.
