Days Out With Serena

Blair sighed to herself looking in the mirror. Serena and her decided to go to the cinema today. Usually, Blair wouldn't be this nervous. But after her latest conversation (close to being a shout match on her end) with Chuck, Blair wasn't sure what to say to Serena. What do you say to your best friend who you are trying to seduce for your own selfish reasons?

Blair had made sure Dan was distracted, spending the day with Vanessa. With slight help from Jenny Humphrey... Namely, a phone conversation filled with awkward small talk, sly planning (from Blair of course) and defensive questioning. 'Just don't act weird. Act sexy and seductive, but not too sexy or seductive. Maybe I can take her to Victorla afterwards...' Blair thought to herself anxiously.

There was a knock on the door which made Blair jump a foot in the air out of surprise. "Hey, B." Serena smiled oblivious to Blair's nervousness. "Hey, S." Blair smiled back as calmly as she could. It was surprisingly easy to pretend nothing was wrong. That Blair wasn't being blackmailed by frickening Chuck Bass to sleep with her best friend.

"Are you okay?" Serena asked frowning. So maybe she wasn't so oblivious after all. Her blonde is slowly fading away. "I'm fine." Blair lied. "Come on, let's go to the movie. We don't want to be late." Blair changed the subject tugging Serena down the stairs.

Blair rested her head on Serena's shoulder watching the movie play out on the screen. Blair blindly reached for the popcorn and felt a slight spark on electricity racing through her viens. Serena moved her fingers away and to her mouth. While Blair regained her composure and grabbed a pinch of the fatty, sugary goodness between the fingertips.

Out of the corner of her eye, Blair could see Serena giving her an approving look. Most likely pleased with how far her best friend had come over the years to be able to actually eat popcorn. A lifetime of Eleanor Waldorf's disapproving sighs and dieting tips had made Blair cautious of food, especially food such as popcorn and other calorie filled snacks.

Blair rolled her eyes but smiled anyway. It was such a shame that Blair had to do this to Serena. Who had been nothing but a good friend, despite her past mistakes.

"Where are we going?" Serena frowned. "You'll see." Chuck smirked. After the movie Blair and Serena's limo mysteriously vanished (read: Where the hell did Chuck Bass take Blair's limo?) so Chuck offered rather 'polietly' to take the pair in his limo. "Seriously Bass where are we going?" Blair asked. "I told you. You'll see." Chuck retorted.

The limo screeched to a halt in front of the Victorla. "Really? No, I'm not going there." Serena said shaking her head. "And why's that?" Chuck sneered. "Because Dan..." She started. "S, you need a night to yourself for a change. Plus he's with his rat of a friend anyway. So you can hang out with us." Blair replied seemingly understanding what Chuck was trying to do.

Serena let out an exasperated sigh but hopped out the limo. "This doesn't mean I'm getting drunk and having sex." Serena told them. "Of course." Chuck said rolling his eyes. But before Serena had a chance to reply Blair tugged her inside.

Serena sat down next to Blair and Chuck watching the handmaidens on stage. "This is stupid." Serena muttered. "I have something that could cheer you up." Chuck mumbled. Serena turned to him. "You're gross." Serena said wrinkling her nose at him. "No. Ask Blair about her dance moves. If you're lucky she might perform a little show for us." Chuck whispered.

"Blair isn't a stripper." Serena chuckled. She knew for a fact that Blair Waldorf would never get on stage with those girls. "Hey Blair! Why don't you show us some of your moves!" Chuck yelled. Blair frowned at him disapprovingly. "You're making me out to be some kind of slut." Blair sniggered.

Chuck leaned over Serena to whisper in Blair's ear. "I thought you'd like being close to so many hot girls." He sneered in her ear. Blair frowned. "Shut it, Bass." She frowned. "What would your mother say Blair?" Chuck smirked knowing that Blair would be on board after the question.

Blair scowled and Serena wondered exactly what they were talking about. What was so secretive that neither of them wished to tell her? Were they back together? Was this some sort of scheme? "Well, I do have some extraordinary dance moves." Blair said louder so that Serena could hear. "You don't have to, B." Serena told her.
