Wanda lifts her head from her failed attempts to fall asleep. She nudges Agatha snoring loudly beside her which she ends up snapping the spaghetti strap of the lavender silk lace slip nightgown.
“Agatha.”
“Whaat?”
“I can’t sleep.” Wanda bites her lip as her green eyes meet with Agatha’s tiresome blue ones.
“Let me use your pillow to smother you and see if that works,” Agatha suggests, receiving a hard shove in return.
“I tried counting sheep. They took the night off.” Wanda shrugs.
“Okay, weirdo,” Agatha snorts. She huffs and then remembers something that could probably be a good idea.
“What about the boys’ lava lamp? Try staring at it ‘til you can’t.”
Agatha groans and covers her eyes with her forearm just as Wanda gets up and hurries out of the room.
Wanda brings the lamp back to plug it on top of the dresser and take a couple of steps back to admire the glowing neon red & orange globs floating inside liquid.
“I’ll leave you two alone,” Agatha yawns, sluggishly rolling herself around to face away from the glowing home décor.
Wanda parks her bottom on the edge of the bed staring immensely at the lava lamp with the disgruntled low sounds of Agatha’s snores releasing soon after.
