Gamer Rage
“I have so many questions.” Bucky sighed, looking down at the controller in his hands.
“Just go with it.” Steve encouraged though gave his own controller the same skeptical look.
“Oh come on boys,” [Y/N] said happily as she plopped down on the couch between them, “this’ll be fun!”
“What are we playing anyway?” Steve asked curiously as the Xbox loaded.
“Call Of Duty 3, I thought being that it takes place in World War II it would be fun for the two of you and would make it easier for you to get into.” The [h/c] haired woman explained.
The main screen of the game appeared and [Y/N] quickly set it up and they were soon playing.
“I just wanna be friends, why are you shooting me?” [Y/N] huffed then filled the group of Nazis in front of her with bullets, “That’s what you get for not being nice!”
“Damn it Steve!” Bucky shouted, pressing the button to shoot over and over.
“I’m sorry, he came out of nowhere!” Steve defended.
“Both of you shut u- fuck!” [Y/N] shouted, quickly shooting at the Nazis that approached.
“I’m out of ammo!” Bucky yelled in panic.
“AGAIN?!” [Y/N] growled in annoyance, “Wait a minute and I’ll be there.” She huffed then quickly found Bucky’s character and threw an MP40 on the ground for him, “Be nice to my gun and be smarter with your ammo soldier!”
“Yes, ma’am!”
“Uh guys we have a problem.” Steve muttered, pointing at the screen.
“Where the hell did they come from?” [Y/N] whined.
“Fire in the hole!” Bucky shouted and an explosion appeared on the TV.
“You are soooo lucky that didn’t kill me or you would so be dead right now.” [Y/N] threatened the brunette super soldier, shooting him a quick glare before continuing to shoot their attackers.
“I can’t-“
“Will you three shut the hell up?!” Natasha yelled from behind them, “It’s three in the morning and some of us are trying to sleep!”
The trio turned to stare at the red head, not before pausing the game of course, and gave sheepish smiles.
“Sorry Nat.” [Y/N] laughed, “I was showing the boys here some games and I guess we just got into it.”
“I can tell.” Natasha said, pursing her lips and crossing her arms in irritation.
“I guess we should be headin’ to be.” Bucky commented, looking at his two companions.
“That would be nice.” Natasha huffed, turning on her heel and leaving the three.
“See you two in the morning.” Steve yawned, leaving Bucky and [Y/N] to take care of things.
“Night.” The paired called after him.
“Well that was fun.” Bucky chuckled, watching [Y/N] as she put the disc back in its case and turned the TV off.
“I’m glad you enjoyed yourself, to be honest I haven’t played this game in years but Gods do I love it.” She said with a smile then sat back on the couch beside him.
A comfortable silence between and [Y/N] leaned her head on Bucky’s shoulders as she looked at the black screen in front of them wishing this moment would never end.
