Wedding fake wedding real
The house woke up to a completely transformed set.
Gone were the usual colorful decorations. Instead, the living room was draped in soft white glowing curtains, gold balloons floated near the ceiling, and a long table was set with elegant dishes and at each place a wedding invitation.
It looked like an actual wedding ceremony.
As the contestants stretched and yawned, confused murmurs filled the air.
The intercom buzzed.
"Good morning players ! Today is February 14th—Valentine’s Day!" the host announced cheerfully. "To celebrate, you’ll be organizing a very special fake wedding between two of you!"
Cheers and excited shouts erupted from the contestants.
Except for two people.
Engfa and Charlotte exchanged a look.
They knew exactly what this was.
The production wanted to test them. To have good drama.
Make them struggle.
Force them into uncomfortable situations on live television.
But they were players in this game, so they acted delighted along with the others.
"Who’s getting married?" someone asked eagerly.
"Check the table!" Alicia pointed.
Each contestant had an envelope in front of their seat. One by one, they grabbed their invitations and ripped them open.
Charlotte’s heart sank the moment she read the names.
You are invited to the wedding of...
Charlotte & Charles
The contestants erupted into laughter and applause. Teasing Charles openly, the poor guy was blushing to his ear.
"Congratulations, bride and groom!" Maria teased, clapping Charles on the back.
Charlotte forced a laugh, playing it cool. "Guess I should start practicing my vows."
She hated it.
Not because of Charles—he was just playing the game like everyone else—but because it stung.
She wanted to marry Engfa.
And she couldn’t.
Not yet. Not legally.
She swallowed down the bitterness. It’s just a game, she reminded herself.
Meanwhile, Engfa frowned at her invitation, noticing a small extra note at the bottom.
She unfolded it carefully.
Engfa, if you manage to steal a kiss from Charlotte in front of everyone before the wedding, you’ll win $10,000. Good luck!
Her lips parted in shock.
These bastards.
She could almost hear the producers laughing in their control room.
The Wedding Preparations
The house split into teams, each handling a part of the wedding.
- Lou and Alicia were in charge of decorations, setting up fairy lights and arranging fake flower bouquets.
- Maria led the bachelorette party planning and was absolutely taking it way too seriously.
- The boys were assigned the bachelor party, but they mostly focused on drinking.
Charlotte sat in the dressing area while Alicia and Maria did her makeup.
She was trying to act unbothered, even to make everyone believe she was delighted to have everyone’s attention but Engfa knew better.
Engfa leaned against the vanity table, watching Charlotte’s reflection. "You look nervous, ‘bride,’" she teased.
Charlotte rolled her eyes. "I’m fine."
Maria, however, smirked. "I bet you’re just nervous about the bachelorette party."
Charlotte frowned. "What do you mean?"
Maria grinned.
"I asked the boys to prepare a striptease for you."
Charlotte choked on air.
The Bachelorette Party & Engfa’s Plan
The party was chaotic.
Music blasted through the house, drinks were passed around, and the guys —led by Lou—were dedicated to their ridiculous striptease routine.
Charlotte sat in the center of the circle, horrified as Lou and Charles unbuttoned their shirts, dramatically swinging them over their heads.
The contestants cheered while Charlotte hid her face behind her hands.
Engfa, sitting a few seats away, was having the time of her life.
Watching Charlotte be this uncomfortable was hilarious.
Then, an idea struck her.
It’s now or never.
Engfa stood up.
She walked toward the center of the dance floor, stepping between the guys who were still dramatically thrusting to the music.
Everyone turned to her, curious.
Then Engfa started dancing.
She smoothly joined the boys in a slow, seductive dance.
The air shifted.
More cheers.
Charlotte’s eyes widened, completely caught off guard.
Engfa’s movements were smooth, confident—teasing. She swayed her hips, locked eyes with Charlotte, and smirked.
Charlotte froze.
The moment Engfa was close enough, she leaned in—and pressed a quick kiss to Charlotte’s lips.
The room exploded.
Everyone screamed, laughing and clapping.
Maria practically jumped in excitement. "Now THAT’S a real bachelorette party!"
Charlotte, still stunned, didn’t even react as Lou and Maria took turns kissing her on the cheek as a joke. She just sat there, completely short-circuiting.
Meanwhile, Engfa leaned back with a satisfied smile.
Mission accomplished.
For now, no one suspected a thing.
The Fake Wedding: Charlotte’s Plot Twist
By the time the ceremony started, everyone was exhausted. The sun hadden set yet, but every contestant felt like they already lived this fake wedding for two days.
They had partied, danced, drank too much champagne—now they just wanted to get through the wedding as quickly as possible.
Charlotte stood at the altar next to Charles, dressed in a beautiful white outfit that the production gave to her.
Engfa sat in the front row, arms crossed.
The host played his role as the officiant, going through the fake vows, making jokes, keeping it fun.
He turned to Charles :
“Charles, do you take Charlotte to be your lawfully wedded wife for the next 24h?”
Charles, smiling, immersed in the joke said “yes” confidently.
Finally, he turned to Charlotte.
"Charlotte, do you take Charles to be your lawfully wedded husband for the next twenty-four hours?"
Silence.
Engfa held her breath.
Then—
Charlotte took the mic and, in a high-pitched, dramatic voice, said:
"NO!"
The room burst into laughter.
Even Charles bent over, laughing. "I got rejected at my own fake wedding?"
The host chuckled. "And with that, the shortest wedding in Secret Story history comes to an end!"
Cheers and applause filled the room.
Engfa, finally able to breathe again, just shook her head, grinning.
Charlotte turned, catching Engfa’s gaze.
And for a brief second—just one tiny second—time stopped.
Engfa’s stomach flipped.
Maybe Charlotte was playing the game, but Engfa knew one thing for sure—she was playing it for her. All of this ridiculous staging, only for money.

The Night After the Wedding Challenge
The house had finally settled. The laughter, the teasing, and the excitement from the fake wedding had faded into the quiet hum of contestants getting ready for bed.
Charlotte sat at the edge of her bed, still in her white outfit, staring at the fabric between her fingers. The game had been fun, ridiculous even—but something about it left a bitter taste in her mouth.
She should have been able to laugh it off.
But she couldn’t.
Not when every second of it reminded her of what she couldn’t have.
She wished it had been real. She wished Engfa had been the one standing beside her at the altar, slipping a ring onto her finger, vowing forever. But instead, it was a joke. She did a task. A game designed for entertainment.
Her chest ached.
Sighing, she stood up and made her way to the bathroom, hoping to escape her own thoughts.
In the kitchen, Engfa leaned against the counter, absentmindedly twirling a spoon in her tea.
The house was dim, and the quiet made it easier for her thoughts to drift where they shouldn’t.
She imagined Charlotte in a real wedding dress—soft lace, delicate pearls, a veil barely covering her mischievous eyes. She could see it so clearly: Charlotte walking toward her, smiling like she had no doubt in the world that this was where she belonged.
That moment at the altar, when Charlotte had said ‘no’ in front of everyone—it wasn’t just for show, was it?
Engfa exhaled sharply, setting her cup down.
Lou embraced her from behind
“You’re okay?”
Engfa liked him, he seemed sincere everytime he was with her. She felt like she founded a real friend in this game, someone she wanted to keep in touch once outside.
“I’m thinking about Charlotte’s secret”
Lou gasp and sat in front of her in the kitchen counter
“You found something new ?”
Engfa laughed amused by how excited he became in just the second.
“Not really, She talked about all of the vacations she went to, famous, luxurious places…”
Engfa felt her stomach ache, she was lying to him. It was harder than she thought.
She needed to stop.
This was a game. This was supposed to be fun.
She left Lou thinking alone in the kitchen, letting her lie do its work on Lou.
She rubbed her face and decided to get ready for bed.
The bathroom was empty when Engfa entered. Or so she thought.
Then she saw Charlotte standing by the sink,
Their eyes met through the mirror reflexion.
Charlotte had been crying.
Engfa approached carefully. Her fingers hesitated before softly caressing Charlotte’s arm, a silent question.
Charlotte tensed but didn’t pull away.
“Charlotte…” Engfa whispered, barely audible over the hum of the bathroom light. “What’s wrong?”
Charlotte finally turned her head, her eyes glistening. She looked at Engfa—really looked at her—then at her own hands, suddenly embarrassed.
Her throat bobbed as if she wanted to say something but couldn’t find the words.
Engfa frowned, she went to close the door and came back in a rush “Hey, talk to me.”
Charlotte inhaled shakily, then, in a voice so quiet it nearly broke Engfa’s heart, she whispered, “I wish I could marry you for real.”
Engfa’s breath caught.
But before she could react, before she could reach for her, Charlotte turned and walked out, leaving Engfa standing there—
Heart aching.
Unable to move.

Back in the show, Engfa and Charlotte are unaware of the political storm they’ve unintentionally ignited. But outside, the world is watching.
