Skele-ton of Feelings
You stood there for a moment, staring at the somehow snoring Sans on the floor. He was still asleep, on his stomach, face literally in the carpet, yet he slept like this was just a normal everyday for him.
With a raise of your brow, you sigh, already done with him as you throw a blanket over him, "So much for a good host.."
As you turned to head to the kitchen, seeing as you had permission to everything, you decided to make something quick and easy. You couldn't remember the last time you ate, and you assumed Sans hadn't eaten in awhile so you made some quick sandwiches. Not much since Papyrus wasn't going to be here for 2 da-
You stop, eyes wide as you just realized you're in the house alone with said snoring, 'helping out of the snow', random dance dipping skeleton in his house. What the heck were you thinking?! You look down at the partially made sandwiches, grumbling and deciding to finish them since they were almost done.
Quickly deciding it would be smarter at the Inn instead, you were trying to finish up the sandwiches to head out, when you tense, feeling arms wrap around your middle and a weight on your shoulder.
Knowing it was Sans made it worse, what the heck does he think he's doing?? "heh, just got here and bein a little housewife huh chika-dee?"
You blink, confused for one, and embarrassed for another, the flush on your face apparent as you elbow him back, hearing a soft oof, as you turn around to face him, "What in the world do you think you'-", you pause again when you see his smirk widen, making you take a step back against the counter when he steps forward.
"not doin anythin m'lady. don't have anything to grain. can't a skeleton come enjoy what you're makin in here?", he places his hands carefully on either side of you on the counter, leaning in closer to your face, inches apart, watching your face become even redder as his smirk gets bigger, "could just smell the sandwiches and let me tell ya, i'd just loaf to have a taste."
Sans eyes lidded as he moved even closer to you, causing you to use that as your cue to GET THE FUCK OUT OF DODGE
Immediately you dropped to the floor where you stood, using the adrenaline to crawl out the side from his legs and out of the kitchen, only just barely hearing the quiet chuckling in the kitchen as you left it behind.
What. The. Fuck. Was. That?!
Yeah, no you needed to leave, now. And with a loud slap to your cheeks to rid yourself of the full blush, you stood up, completely done with his antics as you trudge towards the door, reaching for the doorknob, only to run smack dab into something again causing you to stumble backwards, but blinks as something caught you into another dip.
You stare up into eye sockets as you see....Sans....again.
What was with this skeleton and dipping you?! You were beginning to tire of this. If that was how he wanted to play, then game on.
With a small smirk, you shift, minutely to grab his hand again, pushing him back into a twirl that catches him off guard, but was more prepared for the sudden move than he did before and he grins, catching your other hand, to lead you into the spin with him. Of course, with you being more flexible in ballet, had used the momentum to let go of his hands, leaning back to flip over slowly, landing on your feet a bit away from him, as he stared in surprise, but you didn't give him the time to gather himself, shifting quickly to wrap your arms around his neck, making him pause as his blush started to rise, watching as you slide your leg under him to do the splits to the floor, cupping his face to keep in close distance to yours with a lustful look, making him shiver at the look in your eye.
You could feel his bones tremble and the slight panting as he tried his best to keep his cool, but with a smirk, you flip your leg around on the ground to curl around his, making him tense in anticipation before you used the leverage to turn yourself behind him, landing on your feet in a twirl as you head to the front door, looking back at him as he was collapsed onto the floor, looking at you with wide eyes and a major flush.
Smirking, you left out the door, Sans realizing a bit too slow that you were leaving before he jumped up, panting still visible as the door closed, his hand placed on his side of the door as he tried to take a minute to get himself together, not realizing you were just leaning against the outside of the door trying to calm your own heart rate. Thought you should go soon before he comes after you, but before you did, you heard the small mumble coming from his side, making you grin wider.
".....holy shit...you sure are a spitfire...."
With that, you push off the door, grinning from both the event and the fun you had dancing, as you head in the direction of the town, only distantly hearing a door open, as you thought, "....maybe a cat and mouse game wouldn't be so bad."
Course, finding the Inn before Sans could find you was proving to be difficult when you could see him almost everytime you nearly went into a building. You had to keep hiding to avoid his searches, but it was only for so long till he caught up.
Luckily, you had managed to talk to one of the villagers before Sans showed up again, suggesting a trip to waterfall.
You had no idea what that was, but if Sans was this persistent in getting you to stay at their place, then you could keep the game going a little longer. Snickering, you decided to have a bit more fun with it, shifting a little to stand at the entrance to waterfall, seeing as it was really foggy where you were from the end of snowdin.
So you waited there, you honestly had such exhilaration from that earlier event that you didn't exactly want to stop. So you waited, and once you could see the silhouette of Sans' shape and the low call of "Y/N!", you knew he spotted you.
But he wasn't going to get you that easily, so once he was close enough, you chuckled, turning and making a mad dash towards the waterfall entrance. You had no idea where you were going exactly, but you know he was following when you could hear the tip tapping of his sneakers behind you. With the place being damp and semi-dark, you hid behind rocks to stay out of his direct view, but knew he caught glimpses of you.
"hey, wait!"
You only giggled, continuing towards what looked like a pathway of blue glowing flowers. If you had more time, you would have liked to see this place at a more leisurely pace.
As you followed the path, you kept looking back to see if he was still following, which he was, though his face was blue, was he out of breath? You weren't sure, he wasn't panting like he was earlier. But either way, after awhile you came across what looked like a pond or pool of a ethereal glowing blue water. It was gorgeous, why has she never seen a place like this before?
You stood in front of the water, forgetting the game for a moment, as you listened to the surrounding echo flowers as if they were singing a tune. It was.....oddly enchanting as if it came from a fantasy book. Closing your eyes, you took in the song and the calmness of the area, not realizing Sans had caught up, but instead of reaching for you he just stood there, watching you as if in a trance when you started to gently dance.
He was caught up in the moment as were you when it felt like you were the only one there. You lifted and lowered your arms carefully in a graceful manner as your legs did the same, matching the careful pacing of the singing flowers, that seemed to come out in your dance.
Sans was enraptured. He had never seen you dance like this before. He lifted a hand to his chest, feeling his Soul buzz in a weird tempo as he watched you, not realizing his eyelights shifted to hearts for a moment before he shifted his stance. It was odd....Sans had never been one to really go all out dancing, a little joke sometimes sure, but not fully dancing. He never had it in him anymore, not after the resets.
But seeing you calmly dancing, put him at ease, but eager enough to want to join you. Your dancing style was different than normal ballet, at least of what he's seen, but it was obvious you put your emotions in your dancing.
He thought you were beautiful.
Course, that also means he thought you were pretty guarded, it took you a bit of convincing to get you to stay in the house, but.......somehow, he thought you were worth the effort. He didn't know how long he was standing there, watching you, but he knew you both couldn't be out here for long. What with Undyne patrolling the area often enough...besides, he wanted more time with you alone, especially after that first 'dance' got him riled up.
Instead of calling to you though, he just walks over quietly, expertly sliding his hands into yours and leads your dance with you. The jolt he felt from you probably brought you out of your trance, which upset him a bit. Knowing you couldn't really relax in his embrace, but he ignores it, changing the tempo slightly, "heh, knew you were a great dancer but......"
He stops as he looks at you, you looking back at him as you both remain silent for a moment, for some odd reason, scared of breaking the moment.
It didn't take long, but he was disappointed when you looked away, his hand twitching to wanting to bring your attention back to him, but he held back. Watching you back away to look around as you try to come out of your stupor. He took a breathe and placed his hands back into his pockets, lightly clenching them as he waited, plastering on that grin again.
What had....?
It took you a moment, but you slowly came out of your haze, realizing that you were in waterfall and... Oh! Sans! that's right, you were running from- course that train of thought stopped when you see him standing next to you, looking down at you with some......look you couldn't describe.
It was a mix between admiration, fondness and....something else you weren't sure. But whatever it was made you look away in embarrassment, did you do something weird without realizing it? Though seeing the embarrassment, Sans coughed quietly into his hand and looked away, a slight blush to his cheeks, when you looked back at him.
"so uh.....we should....probably be heading back now...yeah?"
All you could do was nod silently, confused but walking back alongside him. The both of you were quiet, until Sans sneakily wraps his hand around yours, making you tense.
His in turn went tense and he side glanced you, but you forced yourself to relax, and continued walking, the flush on your face even more apparent, when you still didn't know what exactly happened back there. But you squeeze his hand back, you think it'll be fine for now.
On Sans end though, something tells him that he's just got a crush.
