More strange happenin-......who's house is this?
You woke up slowly, your mind in a fog after the day's events. Only barely registering that you were laying on something soft. You figured it was the snow, but the softness was strangely absent of the obvious cold feeling. But you weren't complaining as you cuddled further into the soft.......you peek an eye open to see what you were even laying on. It was very......green. Ah, must have been a couch, as you closed your eye again, hoping to get a bit more sleep, you paused.......wait....couch?
The realization that you weren't outside anymore, instantly tipped you off, as your eyes shot open and you look down. Roving your eyes over the couch, towards the carpet, and the table, eventually leading you to scan your surroundings, ".....uh...."
Okay....long story short, you were probably kidnapped as you were trying to nap in the snow last you remember...
You squint at that, trying hard to remember what happened to get you there. But you come up short. Your initial thought of being kidnapped was dashed as you come to realize the blanket over you, and the lack of chain- er....well aside from the ones you wore.
But that still didn't explain where the heck you were....and why the couch was a distinct green color that clashed harshly with the rest of the warm colored room. You frown, but don't make a verbal comment on it in fear of someone being able to hear you. But on that note, where exactly was anyone? From the looks of it, it looked like a living room? Your guess being because you could see straight to the messy kitchen and a staircase to the side of the couch. It still put you off on how a house could be so quiet, did anyone live here?
You shake your head and immediately stand, the pins and needles feeling making you lean over the table for a moment to catch your balance as the cold seemed to have done more damage than originally thought. Still after a quick minute, you shuffle quietly to what you suspect is the front door, checking back again to make sure there really wasn't anyone around, before opening the door quietly. That made you raise a brow, who would leave their door unlocked?
You shake your head again, no time for that! You have to leave before anyone came back!
With that, you quietly open the door, closing it just as silently, as you made a mad dash away from the.......rather nice looking house from the outside actu- gah!
You really need to get your thoughts in order... you turn to face a lot, and you mean a LOT of snow, but also some buildings in the distance. Hugging yourself, you would have really liked to go ask for help or stay somewhere sheltered but......Toriel's words rang clear in your mind, there were no humans here, just monsters. Albeit she told you friendly monsters, but you still didn't know anyone.
Turning your attention to the right, you spot the woods you....surprisingly remember coming from where the Ruin doors were. You perk up, the sight of the woods giving you a plan already, Toriel might take you back in!
Smiling wider, you get ready to run in the frost bitten cold, wondering why anyone would want to make magic snow so friggin cold! If it's magic, make it warm at the very least! Quickly running towards the woods, you miss the white eye-lighted shadow standing at the corner of the house, watching you run.
.....if you ever make it out alive, your not ever wearing dresses again...
Why did you wear this dress anyway? Usually people would keep their first ever achievements in their closet for safe keeping or a display case if your fucking filthy wealthy and want to be an overachiever.
You grumble quietly, "...damn rich people..". After getting over a couple of snow mounds, one being impressively and strangely shaped as a man in a pose that shouldn't be physically possible, a bridge and a empty stand, you make it back to the Ruins door. You smile in relief, as your shivering increases. You look to the left and right of it, wondering if there was any way to let her know you were back, knocking on it would more than likely break your hand if not be too thick for any sound to come from it. And you didn't see any doorbell or switch to alert her that someone was down there....
You furrow your brow for a moment, before you remembered she gave you a phone, "Oh! Right the phone! I can just call-", but the plan was short lived as you patted your dress to find it gone, "Oh no, where did it......the house.", the kidnappers must have taken the phone while you were unconscious!
If you could slam your head against the door for being so idiotic....
You sigh and frown as you look up at the Ruins door, not sure how to proceed. The cold was getting to you a lot faster since it must not have been that long ago since you were taken to the house.
You pause for a moment, glaring at the door in front of you in thought, before you remembered something she told you.
"The Soul is the door to the heart My Child. In some ways you can communicate with each other, in others it's a way of proving your passion. But if you are in ever need of me, just dance. Your Soul will sing your song to me and I will come aide you"
You hold your hands up to your mouth to blow hot air to regain some sort of circulation and warmth within your limbs. What she said made no sense to you, and you still don't understand it. Toriel didn't exactly have the time to explain to you fully of what she meant, but all you have to do is dance, right?
You tilt your head in confusion, but it was the only chance to call her that you had.
As you decide to stretch and warm up as best you could in the biting cold, you failed to sense another presence hiding behind one of the trees. After a couple of minutes, you seemed to have enough function to be able to dance, but it wouldn't be for long, the wind seemed to have picked up even more, so you'll have to do a short one.
Taking a deep breath, you close your eyes, and raise your arms carefully, pulling your leg back behind you as you bend over for your arm to brush past your dominant leg. It always felt like your dancing was in slow motion, but instead of the exhilarating feeling of you having fun, it was a desperate cry to come find you.
Your eyes remain closed, as you kick your back leg up straight and easily spin to face the opposite direction, throwing your arm out as if you were reaching for someone. The tempo picks up, like you can hear quiet music aiding you in your dance, as you spin again, bending low to leap up, landing back down on one foot to straighten your leg out higher, turning to pose your arms straight out to the side, as your legs cross. Pushing off again, you spin 3 more times, as you land back in the same position from earlier, like your reaching for someone.
However, instead of moving into your next turn......a sudden hand darts out to grab your waist and spins you themselves. The action making you shoot your eyes open wide as you land into a dip, by someone.
You were speechless, still overcome with shock before you cursed loudly, "Who the he-"
Before you could finish, the strangely blue clad monster placed a finger to your mouth to stop you from talking. You flinched as you see a grin widen from under the hoodie. The same finger slowly lifted to flick the hood from the monster's face and you paled.
"heh, never thought such a pretty woman would leave me in the cold like that. snow joke m'lady."
