>>Bye<<, Lexa breathed, while watching Clarke leave. She didn't know what she was feeling. Her heart was beating fast after seeing the girl she had a crush on for four and a half years for the first time after that exact time.
It ached watching her leave...
Had Clarke maybe felt the same the night they first met? She was still wearing her ring though...
>>Yo, Lexa. Are you ready to leave? Or do you wanna run after her?<<
Lexa turned to her right. Her best friend stood next to her. >>No, Anya, I do not want to run after her. And yes, I'm ready to leave. So let's go and stop talking about things you don't understand.<<
Lexa turned around, placed her hand on the other girl's shoulder and dragged her with her.
Anya shrugged. >>You are right, I don't understand how you can have a crush on a girl you met one evening, while pretending to be somebody else in order to rob her family and neither see nor talk to her for years.<<
Lexa pushed the laughing girl away. >>If I had known what a beautiful, amazing person she is, I would never had planned to rob her family...<<
>>If you hadn't robbed her family, you wouldn't have met her in the first place!<< Anya reminded her.
>>Then we would have met differently and her father would still be alive...<<
>>You don't know that, Lexa! Her father was at the wrong place at the wrong time. It wasn't your fault! Stop telling yourself that!<<
Lexa shrugged. Clarke's father was dead because of her and noone could convince her otherwise.
Anya sighed. >>Fine. Let's avoid the topic forever, maybe one day your princess can convince you that it is not your fault...<<
>>First, don't you dare talk to her about this ever and second, don't call her princess, she doesn't like that<<, Lexa growled. But Anya was barely impressed. >>Don't worry, I don't plan on talking to her at all.<<
>>Commander, are you ready?<< Lincoln greeted her when Anya and her joined the rest of the group at the fountain, where they put their stuff before their show.
>>Yes, let's go home. I'm hungry<<, she greeted the others.
>>More like thirsty<<, Anya mumbled only for Lexa to hear.
The addressee threw her an angry look but choose to ignore her otherwise.
