How To Turn A Frown Upside Down.
"Where's Fiore?" Ashley asked, looking around the room as they were missing a few people from each cast before they did the watch party.
Dahlia and Iris were talking to thier parents (they got that special privlage because they were both 16 and hadn't talked to their parents in about two months)
Rosa was making sure Sophia was up for watching it after how crazy the party got last night.
Grett was off to find Yul to force him to watch it (knowing it would be painful for him)
And Tabitha and Damian were still asleep, so Sophia went to get them up.
But Fiore was the only other one missing and no one saw her today!
"Barry said she wasn't feeling great." Dan noted.
Right, he was also seeing Iris and Dahlia's parents for the first time over facetime, they reused to let him duck out of it today, so she couldn't ask him that.
Ashley galnced at WIll who gently nodded.
"I'll be right back." Ashley gently said as she got up, and walking outside, trying to recall which room it was.
Looking the other way, she chuckled gently at Iris rambling to a phone in her hand, with Dahlia and Barry beside her, Barry didn't look to amused, but that was his resting face at this point, he at least seemed to be responding to questions.
Going over to the room she saw Alec leave this morning, she gave it a knock.
The tv in the room paused as FIore's voice was heard.
"Is that you Barry? I honestly thought you'd come abck 20 minutes ago." Fiore said.
So she was most likey making up a lie.
"It's Ashley Fiore." Ashley said.
"Oh?........ What do you want?" Fiore asked, at least the tone was more confusion then annoyed.
She was working on coming off annoyed at everything when inside she wasn't, luckily Alec is going over tone of voice.
"Fiore. can we talk?" Ashley asked.
"......why?" Fiore asked.
"I just want to talk. Please." Ashley said, before she heard a soft groan.
Maybe she didn't feel well, she was up till 1 last night...... yeah that party got crazy.
Ashley blinked as the door opened up.
Fiore didn't look sick at all. Or tired.
"Wy can't you watch the seasons?" Ashley asked.
"Is it that important that I watch them?" Fiore asked, despite looking unamused, Ashley could see a tiny bit of panik in her eyes. It was more easy to see now with FIore not being as anxious to be open with her feelings. Plus Fiore walked back to her bed, trying to avoid eye contact.
"Yes. You were the runner-up and won All-Stars, the other season players really want to hear your thoughts in moments." Ashley said, walking over to sit by Fiore as she sat on the bed.
"Well I'm not up to watching it..... I'm really tired." She gave a fake yawn as Ashley looked a little unamused, she knew it was a lie.
"Your not in your pajamas." Ashley noted.
"....... damn it." Fiore grumbled.
"So spill the beans, what's wrong?" Ashley asked.
"Do I have to answer?" Fiore asked.
"Everyone's wondering where you are, all Barry said you were feeling sick, and Alec's in the kitchen and no one wants to bug him while he's helping out." Ashley said, as Fiore gave a soft groan.
"Alright....... I lied to Barry about not feeling well, because I didn't want to watch season one, and knew he wouldn't let it go if I said no." Fiore gently said as she grabbed a cat plush she had on her bed and gave it a soft hug. She did it when stressed.
"Why don't you want to watch the season?" Ashley asked.
Fiore shook her head as she was thinking, clearly in distress.
"What's wrong? I thought you were proud of your gameplay." Ashley said.
"Part of it, some of it was great to get farther.... others not so much." Fiore said.
"Like slapping Will?"
"That. The argument I had with him, pretty much screwing over Jake and Tom's relationship...... and betraying Alelc." Fiore mumbled the last part.
"That's in the past." Ashley said.
"And what happens if everyone starts hating me again! I refused to watch it at my shitty boarding school, because watching that finale would just make me........ hurt me more.... knowing no one cared for me then.... or at that point..... I don't want to be like Yul with the season 2 cast." Fiore gently said.
"You won't be that..... look I know the history between you and me...... and anyone else with you wasn't great. But everyone waiting downstairs for you." Ashley said, gently patting her shoulder (being careful not to touch where Yul had shoved her yesterday.)
"They are?" Fiore asked.
"Of course! Dahlia didn't see you weren't there yet, and you know she wouldn't watch a minute without you. Sophia, Rosa, Lake, they want you there too! James and Hunter want to hear your humor and thoughts to it, Drew wants you there, and most from our season don't know you aren't there yet." Ashley argued.
"They..... all want me there?" Fiore asked, wiping her eyes gently.
"Like I said, everything from that is in the past, we'll all moving on, and seeing that past again, is something we can look back on with laughter knowing that now, everything's better for everyone. Tom and Jake are together. Grett's happy. You and Alec are way better. We can at least see that finale and not feel like shit." Ashley said as Fiore laughed a little.
"Your still feel like shit, everyone will." Fiore joked.
"Maybe your right, but to see if that happens, you'll have to watch with us." Ashley smirked.
".......alright I'm come down.... but I refuse to sit anywhere near Yul." Fiore said, getting up.
"Please, we're not gonna force that pain on you. He's in the corner of the season 2 cast, near Lake, who'll hit him again if he get's too dickheaded." Ashley joked, getting a laugh from Fiore as she got up.
"Alright, let's go!" Ashley smiled as she walked towards the door, but stopped at seeing Fiore not moving.
Luckily she said something.
"Uh..... Ashley?" Fiore asked.
"Yes?" Ashley asked, looking down at her with a smile.
"Can........ you give me a piggyback ride down? I asked Barry to last night..... but I changed my mind this morning before hand."
"Of course." Ashley smiled as she kelt down as FIore smiled a little, clming onto Ashley's back.
Everyone knew she loved when Barry or Dahlia did it, it let her feel more like a kid.
"Well they wanted to start it at 10, so we better get down there." Ashley smiled more, picking up her cat.
"Yeah." Fiore nodded with a smile, before letting out a laugh as Ashley went down the stairs, of course being careful not to trip.
Fiore loves horses, and Ashley can't fault FIore for being like this, her sister loved them too!
At least she was able to cheer Fiore up.
It wouldn't be a watch party of season 1 without her!
