When Kara crossed the portal from Earth 1, an enormous billboard with a picture of her next to Lena Luthor welcomed her. A picture she didn’t remember to have been taken, with a text that made her feel nervous: Welcome to National City, the safest city in the country, protected by Supergirl’s powers and L Corp technology.
