Blood on her skirt

Kagami Tsuragi was a lot of things a liar was not one of them, another was she didn't hesitate. But she really should have not lied to Marinette. And she should have hesitated when Marinette asked her to be ladybug but it was too late now she needed to get back to Paris no matter what.

20 minutes earlier

“So the bus won't be here for another month”Kagami said to an old man in Mandarin

“Yes, it will be about a month the closest town with an airport is technically East but it's all thick jungle.” The old man said chewing what appeared to be tobacco probably. “Thanks” Kagami bowed to the man

15 minutes later she got the call and turned back to the man and asked him “how long would it take if I walk threw the forest to nearest town”

The old man “about 5 to 6 days but it's full of animals you know and the fact that there and what knows what else” Kagami returned to the phone ”give me a week.”

The old man gave her a knife and wished her luck. It was about 9 inches long and had a serrated bottom. It was sharp, probably the second sharpest thing she's ever held. He also gave her a small pot, a large pouch, reusable water bottle that was empty, and a few empty butcher packs. He said that “I can't give you food since most of us barely grow enough for ourselves so you're going to hunt for your own food.”

Every step through this shit hole of a jungle Kagami could tell you was hell. Every step was calculated to sense us going to kill me no then go ahead. Her ears were open to such an extent that she looked at even the rustle of the wind her hearing way sharper. Her mind told her everything was trying to kill her. Her senses told her she's wrong for now.

She missed longg he had been her Kwami only a few times but she remembered what he told her last time they met. “Your my true dragon,I'm only telling you this because I probably won't be around when mutation start happening” longg the kwami of power said. Kagami looked a bit confused about “what do you mean”. “True Wilders of certain actually all miraculous get mutations some might be physical some only psychological. But for me pacifically you only will get sharper teeth and better senses and a high resistance to poison to basically immunity.” “okay, I understand a bit but how long will this be happening” longg took a second “honestly I couldn't tell you but I can tell you this there's a way to speed it up.”

“how?” Kagami asked “fight for your life, my domain is power means demonstrating power is in definition of how to speed it up but only something like fighting for your life give enough hormonal response to qualify and a speed up I mean depending on how much adrenaline flowing threw you it could be seconds instead of months”

It's been about two months since then. And she can see small changes but it's still far off from what she thought. Her teeth were sharper, her eyesight was better, and her senses of smell definitely got better because everything smelt like shit and wet. She also knew for a fact though her hearing was better because she could even hear her mom walk which wasn't something she used to not be able to do.

She hiked a small hill until she saw what appeared to be a chicken, no probably some form of ancestors she got lucky. She threw her knife at it hitting it spot on of course nothing less from her. She picked up the bird and continued walking. Wiping the knife on a tree cleaning off the blood.

Kagami wouldn't say she was the best at dressing animals since this would be her first time but she's seen their robots cook raw chicken before. This one just had feathers. She didn't have water to boil the feathers off but she cut the head off and drained the blood immediately. After that she carefully tried to slice off the top most layer of chicken feathers. Her pot wasn't big enough to boil them off of course. She packed whatever meat was clean enough to eat.

She walked for hours before she finally found her first spot to camp.as the sun was setting she found exactly one log and about 4 kilos in sticks. That was dry enough for a fire. She started rubbing sticks together and she was glad it wasn't monsoon season.

Kagami missed her bed after the fire started she took her time making sure it started. She started cooking whatever meat she had with a few sticks cutting the meat into some kabob sized meat. Mosquitoes sucked but she was lucky they always seemed to ignore anyways. It was warm to the touch. Her legs hurt already and she's scared. And yet her mind is yelling at her you have to make it to the airport. She can't disappoint Marinette but why can't she disappoint her.

Kagami Tsuragi was a Tsuragi that's what she tells herself when she falls asleep. If that's what you can call it her awareness was sensitive even a step out of place and she shot up. Kagami was Tsuragi, which meant she couldn't surrender no matter the odds. Fear was falsehoods to her. She twisted and turned non the less. An her dreams where all Marinette telling her to keep going.

She woke up tired almost but not really she ate some of the chicken she cooked last night. She packed any meat possible in her bag and then. She looked for a spring and collected water in her pot and put it in the fire starting to calm down. She boiled it until it looked clear and she skimmed everything off. She wished she could filter it more before putting it in her bottle. She went back to the spring and filled the pot. And dumped it on the fire damping it

She walked for another few hours before she found anything of importance, her feet sore and her shoes torn. Her uniform is more cloth than clothes. It had only been a day and a half and the jungle showed its unforgivable nature and the Kagami didn't even know how bad it would get yet. She didn't find anything that she thought she could eat or catch with just a knife. She's glad that the chicken thing gave a lot of meat. Water wasn't a problem yet she drank as she need.

Marinette owed her something she didn't know yet but she definitely owed something. That was the wrong way of thinking. Kagami knew it but she was miserable. She was glad she's far from Paris because she's certain that she would of been akumatized.

She got around to collecting sticks again and she flashed to a memory of Marinette.

It was a windy day and the Kagami skirt wouldn't stay down. She actually wished she wore pants that day. Her hands were sweating. She can't remember why Marinette was leading her around town. They stopped at Andre for the second time when they heard their soulmates changed. It felt weird to hear. They just ate their ice cream blackberry for her hair, blueberry for her eyes, and a cherry for her secret and her heart started beating for some reason.looking back Marinette lips looked so kissable. She shook her head and she finished picking up sticks. She started a fire and went to bed not feeling the eyes on her.

She got up and walked again. She was making it to the airport or dying trying. At first it was boring. She walked and walked. Until she heard the rustle of leaves. She started to run; she knew it wasn't the wind on an instinctual level. And when stopped only to look. She rolled out of the way. It was a tiger. It was the size of a bear. It felt like she knew it was smaller but in comparison to her it was inhumanely big. She ran again trying to zig and zag. She felt a clawed hand swat her and she flew into a tree, her back bruised breath knocked out.

She rolled next she took her knife and started swinging it. She missed by an inch her heart in her throat as she started running again. She was human and everything in her body yelled at her why she was doing this to herself. She thought why didn't I tell Marinette no. As the palm of tiger struck her back. She slaced at its stomach, nicking it giving Kagami a chance to get and run again.

Her heart was in her throat, lungs burning with fear, eyes blurring in pain and blood on her tongue. Until her feet stopped and something rang in her head. She fucking hate longg.

“What are the psychological effects?” “Well when you start mutating fully.”longg said waiting a second to think “you will want to hoard things and you can't say no to a fight”

She was smacked into a tree again, her eyes glazing over as the tiger crawled over. Blood flowing from her lip. Eyes swollen and her knife on the other side of the tiger. She was crying she couldn't run away anymore her body hurt so much she was going to die. The blood was rolling down her back. Her legs were weak, her arms numb and her feet sore.

As the tiger jaws open about to bite her. Her brain flooded with Marinette. Oh, how beautiful her smile was how soft her touch was on her cheek, how she laughed at everything, and how she never backed down no matter the odds. Oh Kagami loved her so much. An Kagami realized she can't die without letting marinette know she loved her. Oh Marinette, look at what you do to me.

In almost instinctual level of power filled her the adrenaline pumped would have been lethal if she wasn't actively evolving. Her teeth growing sharper, her eyes clearing even with a flood of tears she could even hear her own muscles screaming. She jumped forward, basically biting the jugular of the tiger's throat ripping it out. She rolled to the knife and screamed. “I’m going to turn you into a fucking fur coat you fucking cat.” her words unlike her but she didn't care anymore.

She leaped forward and the tiger clawed at each other trying to take each other out. Kagami physically couldn't stand down anymore. She stabbed it in the stomach. The tiger pins her and she slices it's throat with a clean cut. She rolls it missing her shoulder only by a bit. It launched at her and sliced its stomach again as it landed on her. It was dead on the spot. Crashed into her it wasn't too heavy to kill her but it was heavy

She spat blood after she got the tiger off her. She skinned the tiger for everything it was worth, its meat and packed it all up. She was going to have Marinette make her a fucking coat. She found a stream and stripped, cleaning the blood off and making sure none of the blood soaked into the tiger pelt.

She didn't have to tell people how she got it. But she was rocking tiger pelt for the rest of her life and everyone could fuck off for all she cared. She started hiking shortly after cleaning whatever fur couldn't be put in the bag she wore like a coat she skinned the tiger like she's done it a hundred times even if it was only once.

Each step was different now, her body knew a flood of information, her eyes told her almost how fast a bird flew. She was confident she could predict where it would be in 3 seconds and be able to throw her knife. She decided against it.

A few minutes later a snake bit her. She was worried at first. And then extremely worried when she realized it was a black mamba and less so again when nothing happened. Has she mentioned how much she hates this place yet.

As she continued to move she wondered how sharp her teeth were. She pricked her finger and she almost bled it. Her body was still flowing with adrenaline. She couldn't believe how much was actually flowing through her. She was convinced that if she stopped moving even when it went dark she wasn't getting up.

Longg didn't lie to her mutation changed from a few months to minutes. Maybe it wasn't complete. But it was close.

She moved for miles, her heart beating in her chest not stopping. When she finally felt the adrenaline losing its effect she started grabbing sticks for a fire she barely had enough time to start it. The night was roaring and her heart was slowing. As put some of the tiger meat on the cold side of the fire to basically smoke over night.

When she woke up everything hurt, she grabbed her food and started chewing. Found some water and poured it over the fire she didn't give herself time to rest because the more she relaxed the more she would stop.

She marched forward until an arrow landed at her feet. Has Kagami mentioned how much she hates it here. The man was wearing furs and light jewelry across his arm. His aim was true, his intentions clear. They had to fight.
