When monsters rage (Attack on Shibuya part 1)
Roars echoed over the city, flames and smoke bellowed up out of buildings as people screamed and ran. Buildings were crumbling and falling to the ground, destruction enveloped most a large chunk of Shibuya. Heroes scrambled around, trying to stop the rubble from crushing any more innocent people. Kirishima corralled people into escape and medical vehicles while Mina melted the rubble to free who she could. Jiro was in charge of search and rescue, listening for muffled cries and heartbeats. Explosions sounded as large foot slammed into the pavement, the sound of glass shattering as a loud roar erupted from the smoke. Momo’s eyes watered up slightly, watching as buildings fell. The massive Nomu’s carcas in pieces as she heard explosions reverberate from Bakugou’s hands. Green lightning darted around as Deku tried his best to help. Her eyes slowly trailed up from the giant blood-soaked foot, up towards the steaming hands, all cut and broken. Her vision soon trailed up to the raging face. The chocolate hair flowed over her shoulders as jaws stayed open, her cheeks non-existent as her teeth were as sharp as steel. Her eyes glowed a bright red, ear piercing roars coming from her jaws. She swung her arms at the number 1 and 2 heroes, steam starting to come out from her injuries.
Momo’s eyes soon fell onto a building entrance, a nomu limping towards the spinning glass doors, soon pressing itself against it as it groaned. The creator was about to say something when a massive, bloody foot rammed through the front of the building, crushing the nomu along with causing some of the building to crumble and fall, people screaming inside as some got cut off abruptly.
All the heroes watch in horror as they look at the titan rage. She roars more as her glowing red eyes glare at Deku, watching him throw a Texas smash at her left ankle. Thinking it would be enough of a distraction, Bakugou barrels towards her head. But he was sorely mistaken. Her eyes never left Deku as her right hand swung up in a flash, grabbing Bakugou by one of his legs. A pained scream coming from the blonde as she swung her left leg up causing Deku to miss, her right arm above her head as her eyes glared at the ground. In an instant, her foot slammed into the street, cracking it as her arm swung forward as hard as she could, releasing Bakugou. A loud crack and thud coming from his body that silenced everyone there as he hit the pavement. Her face looked eerily mixed between calm and serious. Her eyes darted to a mortified Deku, his eyes locked on Bakugou’s limp body. She spun on her heel, roaring quickly as she slammed her foot into him, her eyes narrowing as she felt him react at the last second. She saw him fly back, but not at the speed she thought. She slowly turned around, steam starting to bellow off her body as she glanced at the other heroes.
None of them could move, all frozen with fear as the Titan stood before them, flames and smoke surrounding her. Something had snapped in Sashi, something the others were brutally horrified about finding out.
Her stance widened as her foot cracked the pavement. She soon opened her mouth, letting loud roars escape her. She was feral, the only thing that could stop her was Aizawa or letting her wear herself out. But no one knew what set her off. Angered roars filled the city, growing in volume as they sparked a fear in everyone’s bones. A fear that has never been felt by humanity for 150 thousand years. A primal fear everyone has deep inside, the fear to make even the strongest person want to run.

6 hours earlier, Uravity agency:
Sashi slowly trudged into the agency building, rubbing the sleep from her eyes as she pet out a heavy sigh. This was the first night in a long time where she had an actually decent night's sleep. She watched as heroes and sidekicks buzzed around, talking and heading out onto patrol. She slowly headed into the locker rooms, her eyes glancing around as she made her way to her locker. Inside was all her equipment, neatly hung up and organized as she wanted. She slowly pulled the fuel tanks off, strapping them to her thighs as she pulled out the belt. Her eyes scanned over it as she put it on, soon making sure everything was hooked up correctly as she tightened it against her hips. She soon pulled on the harness, fastening it to herself as she connected the rubber tubes to the fuel tanks. She lightly squeezed one of the handle’s triggers, hearing the thruster burst to life for a second before letting go. She closed her locker as she hooked the handle onto her belt, slowly turning to walk out. The one thing she liked about her hero suit was that it wasn’t really a suit. It was just equipment she could strap onto her normal clothes, it wasn’t some skin tight spandex suit that she didn’t understand how people fit into.
Her hazel eyes swell with determination as she took a deep breath, pulling her hair up into her signature ponytail as she glances around the lobby yet again. Her eyes fall onto Uraraka and… Bakugou? What was the number 2 hero doing here. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she shrugged, spinning on her heel as she headed towards the elevator. As the elevator doors open up as a blonde girl about her height walks out. Her sea blue eyes fell onto Sashi as she gently put a hand on the brunette’s shoulder. “Good luck later, they’re planning something big” the blonde muttered, soon walking out into the lobby. Sashi’s gaze quietly followed the girl until she lost her in the crowd. She shook her head, choosing to write it off as just her filling her quota of weird for the day as she stepped into the elevator. She closed her eyes, listening to the elevator go silent as the doors closed, soon a soft humming could be heard as she was sent up.
She stepped out, adjusting her belt as she slowly looked around, seeing everyone milling about, doing what they normally do as she shrugged it off. Her boots made a soft thud against the carpet floors as she held her hands behind her head, puffing her cheeks as she made her way into Kaminari’s office, slumping down in one of the chairs as she let out an annoyed sigh.
“What’s your deal? You look mad” the blonde questioned, his gaze pulling off his work.
Sashi rolled her eyes, rubbing her hands over her face before looking over. “Life is my deal. I finally got a good night’s sleep, I was having a nice dream, and then my alarm decided NOPE! Time to wake up and go to work”. She huffed as Kaminari only laughed, leaning back in his chair as he smirked.
“Welcome to the club~” he teased, letting out another snicker as he glanced at her. “Ya hear the news?”.
She raised an eyebrow, glancing over as she sat up a little. “Something happen?” she questioned curiously, wondering what was going on. It seemed like everyone was a little amped today, but she just wrote it off as just being one of those kinds of days.
The blonde tossed his pen onto his desk as he looked at her, soon spinning around in his chair as he tilted his head to the side. “Uraraka and Bakugou are planning a bigass mission. Apparently there’s been some reports of ‘mysterious activity’ in Shinjuku and Shibuya and they think it’s part of that villain thing they’ve been all uppity about recently”.
The brunette let out an annoyed groan as she held her face in her hands. Were they really building some bigass mission based on some conspiracy theories? She shook her head as she slowly stood up, letting out a soft sigh. “I hope they realize that there probably isn’t some big spider web that everything is connected to. The rate of villain attacks is just up this year, it always does this. Hell, it’s been doing this since before we were even in highschool!”. She waved her hands in the air, shaking her head again before walking out of the Kaminari’s office.
She slowly trudged into her office as she shut the door slowly, letting out another groan as she fell into her chair, closing her eyes as she let her chair spin around. God damn, today was going to be a long day. The briefing for the mission was gonna take forever, let alone the actual mission would be long and grewling. Especially if they’re dragging in other agencies along for the ride. This was going to be long and tedious, knowing Uraraka, she’s gonna want every square inch looked at under a microscope. But she couldn’t complain too much, she signed up to be a hero, so she has to do the work that goes along with it. She puffed her cheeks as she laid her head on her desk, realizing she was starting to get hungry. She was always hungry, she was like a black hole when it came to food. Her mind floated to large plates of food, causing her mouth to water. She was deep in her daydreams as her door opened, causing her to shoot up straight and pretend like she was working in case it was Uraraka.
Her hazel eyes glanced up, noticing a large black ponytail as she visibly relaxed, dropping her pen as she turned her chair to face Momo. she felt her cheeks flush as she tilted her head to the side, a soft smile tugging at her lips as she looked up at the woman. She slowly got her mind back on track as she shook her head a little, clearing her throat. “U-uhm, can I help you? Ya need anything? Was the coffee girl flirting again?” she rambled out questions, watching the creator start to giggle as her cheeks grew more red.
Momo shook her head, walking over as she crossed her arms over her chest. Her smile was almost as bright as Kirishima’s. “No, no, and no~ i was just checking on you, you’ve seemed a lot happier lately”.
Sashi nodded, glancing at her hands as she squeezed them into tight fists a couple times. She let out a soft giggle as she looked up at the creator, her face filling with pride. “Yeah, I feel… I feel amazing! Ever since I've gotten control over my quirk, I feel I can do anything! I mean I know I still have a long way to go, but I feel like I can do it!”. She pumped her fist into the air, smirking softly as she stood up, messing with her harness as she sighed softly. Her hazel eyes glance at her clock, causing her to groan as she runs her fingers through her bangs. “I don’t wanna go to the 3 hour long runover of their stupid conspiracy plan…” she huffed, causing Momo to raise an eyebrow. “Like, say there is an attack, how can they know it’s connected? How will they know it’s their ‘holy grail’ attack they’ve been expecting?”. The brunette shook her head.
Momo only shrugged, turning to walk out towards the conference room.
Sashi paused, feeling her heart start to race. Her mind wasn’t exactly catching up with the rest of her as she quickly stepped forward. Her arms slowly wrapped around the creator’s stomach from behind as she gently pushed her face into their back. Her mind and heart were both blazing as fast as they could handle. But Sashi just pulled the girl closer as she closed her eyes, let out a worried sigh. “On the off chance they’re right, and some shit really does happen… make sure you come back to me in one piece… ok?”
Momo was quiet for a second, causing Sashi to start panicking inside. Did she mess up? Was she being too up front? Was she reading their relationship wrong? What if she just fucked up everything they had?! Her panicking was stopped as she felt Momo’s hands fall over her’s as they slumped back into the brunette, her head leaning back into Sashi’s shoulder.
“I’ll always come back to you… you big idiot~”

As the 2 walked into the conference room, Sashi spotted the Blonde girl from earlier. She was sitting at the farthest point from the door at the back of the room. Her sea blue eyes were half lidded as they stared up at the front, seemingly watching the other heroes set up. Her face was in what seemed to be a permanent state of seriousness/irritation. Her blonde hair was pulled back into a messy bun, however some fell down and fell in front of her face, much like Momo’s little sweep of hair, just shorter. Her suit was a lot like Sashi’s, just a bunch of equipment strapped onto a cream colored hoodie and white pants. She had brown, knee high boots with a little knee cover in the front.
Sashi tilted her head, slightly confused. Had they always been in these meetings? They seemed pretty quiet, so maybe they have been and Sashi just hadn’t noticed. Her mind wandered, trying to figure out if that girl was new or not and who she was as the door to the conference room swung open. Her eyes quickly darted to the door as Uraraka, Bakugou, and Kaminari walked in, the latter taking a seat by the brunette and Momo. Bakugou and Uraraka stand in front of a large map of Shinjuku and Shibuya.
“As some of you have heard and/or figured out, we are planning a large scale mission on these 2 regions of Tokyo later today. There have been sightings of smaller Nomu in the area, leading us to believe the League of Villains or a subsidiary of it is in play here”. Uraraka spoke, her tone of voice commanding and serious. There wasn’t a lick of sarcasm or exhaustion in her tone, all business. Bakugou nodded, stepping up as his eyes narrowed, scanning over the group.
“Our 2 agencies will be spearheading this operation. Deku would be here, but he was investigating something we believe to be involved with this. Anyways, since we don’t know exactly what will happen, we’ll be sending in a small group of scouts into each location, their findings will heavily influence the amount of heroes we send in”. His voice was calm yet strong. Which from Sashi’s limited time knowing him, was something very weird. “If they only find a few Nomu and/or villains, we will send in formation A, which is 3 groups of 5 heroes, to their location. In which the majority of other heroes will be on standby in nearby areas. However, if they find a large number of Nomu or villains, we will go with formation B, which is 5 groups of 7 heroes”.
That caused some mumbling and discourse among the conference room, Uraraka clearing her throat as she interrupted. “We understand that might sound like overkill, but we don’t have an exact number on what ‘a large number’ will be. It could be 15 or it could be 50. We want to send in as many heroes just in case of a worst case scenario. And if it gets to that hypothetical worst case, we will need everyone to be using their power in any way they can”. Uraraka’s eyes quickly glanced towards Sashi as she let out a soft sigh, glancing towards the board. “Now onto our strategy for how we enter the regions…”.
Kaminari smirked, gently bumping Sashi’s arm as he got up, wandering up front as he cleared his throat, putting his left hand in his jacket pocket as he glanced at the map. He let out a soft sigh as his eyes darted between the group of heroes before him and the map. “Ok, so, we will be splitting up into 2 sections, each section split among 2 groups. One section will go to Shibuya, one will go to Shinjuku”. He pointed on the map as he glanced towards Sashi then the others. “And group 1 will enter from the north, group 2 enters from the south. If either group encounters enemies, you notify the other group immediately. To which they will come to aid. Within each group of each section, you will follow the previous formation pattern elaborated by Ground Zero”.
More murmurs spread through the conference room as Kaminari sat back down, letting out a heavy breath as he glanced around the room. Uraraka stepped forward, placing her hands onto the table as she closed her eyes. “There will be 2 ‘commanders’ so to speak per group, so 4 total for each section. For the Shibuya section it will be Ground Zero, myself, Deku, and Red Riot. for Shinjuku, It will be Chargebolt, Jaeger, Shouto, and Froppy. Who you team up with and whether you go north or south is between you all. The rest of you have been notified where you’ll be and who your COs are”.
It caught Sashi off guard to hear her hero name said. She usually never went by it, so actually hearing it was weird. She felt Kaminari elbow her as he snickered, a wide smirk growing across his face. This was going to be a long day.

2 hours after briefing, northern Shinjuku:
Sashi flung herself across the city, her eyes darting around the streets. They have been out here for just over an hour, with no sign of any villains or Nomu. Maybe they’ll get lucky and nothing bad will happen. You couldn’t blame her for hoping that, it wasn’t like it was something horrible. She just wants the city to be safe, which would mean no large scale villain attacks. The harpoons pulled back into the boxes on her hips as the cable spun up into the wheels just behind the boxes. She landed on the sidewalk, stumbling forward slightly as she caught herself, walking over towards Kaminari. Her hazel eyes glanced around as she crossed her arms over her chest. “Everywhere in a 4 block radius is clear”.
The electric hero nodded, letting out a soft sigh as his eye glanced up towards the sky. “Good work. We made it to the station, which was our designated rendezvous point with team B. I'm assuming that they are running late, given how we weren’t notified about them engaging anyone”.
The brunette nodded, tilting her head. “I hope section 1 is having as good luck, if this keeps up we could go home toni-”. She was cut off by a loud explosion blowing out of the station, 2 large Nomu wandering out. Their beady eyes dart around, as if they were looking at every hero there, trying to find someone. Sashi let out a loud groan as she stepped back a little. She had to open her mouth and jinx everything. The Nomu stood about 8 feet tall, one was heavily built, it’s beak short and blunt as a low roar escaped it’s jaws. The other was much more thin, looking almost like an Evangelion as it’s beak protruded into a long chin, its arms and legs thin and long as it charged at some of the heroes.
Sashi pulled the handles of her belt, pulling the triggers as the harpoons shot out, stabbing into the heavily built one. She shot forward as she spun around it a few times, managing to land some heavy blows on it as she growled to herself. Stupid thing, why’d you have to show up? You could have just stayed in your little nest and left everyone alone. The Nomu roared as it swung its fist around, its eyes darting around trying to look at her. Lucky for her, her equipment made her faster than the Nomu could process. She kept hitting it before she saw yellow lightning spark off Kaminari. She smirked as she pulled one harpoon out, shooting it into the front of the station before pulling the other out of the beast, pulling herself up. She watched as the blonde shot rods of lightning into the larger Nomu, watching it’s body twitch as it screeched, soon falling onto the ground. He had used just enough to knock it out, but not kill it. The body slammed against the concrete with a thud as the two’s focus shifted to the thing gangly looking Nomu. it caught them by surprise when they saw a hero writhing in pain within the monster’s jaws. It swung its arms wildly, acting like an animal defending a fresh kill. Sashi’s eyes narrowed, her harpoons pulling out of the station wall and shooting into the Nomu’s chest. A loud screech left its jaws as she barreled into the Nomu, planting a kick square in its chest as her eyes narrowed.
The Nomu’s jaws released the hero as it fell to the ground, Sashi standing on its chest and throat. Her face contorted into a look of rage as she started slamming her foot into the Nomu’s throat, repeatedly stomping as she heard and felt it writhing in pain. Its arms were pinned down by other heroes as Kaminari quickly ran over. He quickly pulled her back, halting her assault on the Nomu as she glared back at the blonde, struggling to get free. “Why are you stopping me? It’s just a mindless animal”.
Kaminari sighed as his eyes narrowed, glaring down at the female as she managed free of his grip. “A mindless animal that was once human”.
Sashi remained quiet for a while. For some reason it had just been those 2 Nomu in the station however they stayed on edge. Several large screens played the news slightly deeper in the station. The heroes kept listening in incase they heard something about what was happening over in Shibuya. They all sat around for a while, talking among themselves as they waited for the all clear.
Suddenly a massive chain of explosions could be heard throughout the air. Heroes quickly scrambled up, looking around. The explosions hadn’t come from Shinjuku. Sashi quickly shot up to the station’s roof, looking around before glancing over towards Shibuya. Her eyes slowly widened as she saw massive columns of smoke and flames billowing up towards the sky. Her heart sank as she jumped down, landing down next to Kaminari, who’s eyes were focused on one of the large screens. The brunette quickly turned her attention to the screen. Her heart cracked as she watched. Her eyes were as wide as saucers as she felt the corners of her eyes start to sting with tears.
“Breaking news! The Massive Nomu has emitted some kind of beam! It caused several of the surrounding buildings to explode and catch fire! It looks like several pro heroes are injured!”
The image flashed to a hurt Momo, laying on the ground, a large gash in her side and on her left thigh. Sashi slowly went limp. Her eyes shook as she watched, slowly glancing to the ground, then her hand. A hysterical giggle left her lips as her face contorted into some psychopathic smile. “I’ll kill them all… I’ll kill every last Nomu and villain that hurt her…”.
Kaminari’s eyes widened as he heard what she said, quickly turning around as he saw her start to run off. He quickly chased, knowing exactly what she was about to do. He reached out, his hand millimeters from grabbing her shirt as the harpoons fired, yanking her forward and out of his reach.
She’ll kill them. All of them. Every damn member of the league was going to be killed by her hands. She’ll tear them apart piece by piece, limb by limb. Starting with all their pets. Her equipment launched her forward, her eyes glowing with rage as she snarled slightly. She was thankful Shinjuku and Shibuya were so close together. Her eyes narrowed as she saw the flames become more clear. She slowly saw movement within the smoke, seeing the 20-ish meter Nomu swinging its arms, probably swatting at Deku or Ground Zero. Oh well, it won’t matter soon. She’ll kill it, she’ll make sure it’s the most dead anything has ever been before. She let out a primal scream as she was just past the halfway point between the 2 mini cities. She used her thruster and her other equipment to launch herself high into the air. Her eyes glared at burning smoke and fire, at the giant monster within the smoke. Her eyes glowed, bringing her hand up to her mouth. Her jaws clamped down on the meaty part of her thumb, blood gushing out as orange lightning burst out around her.
Suddenly a massive orange bolt of lightning shot down onto her while she was midair. A massive explosion of steam burst around her, enveloping her and some of the buildings around her. Soon all that could be heard was an enraged, ear piercing roar that echoed throughout the city. Sending a chill down the spines of anyone who heard it.
