I'm Not Passive, But Agressive

The next morning Katsuki was wide awake, though this time it was more out of nerves than a nightmare. Glancing out the window he could make out that the sky looked like it had yesterday. He grabbed his new phone, which was charging on the nightstand next to his bed, and turned it on to see what time it was .

5:02.

It wasn’t too bad. Katsuki did have the habit of going to bed early so at least he was getting enough sleep. With his nerves he knew going back to bed was futile, but he also didn’t just want to spend an hour in bed. He thought back to yesterday. Technically Aizawa did give him permission.

With his mind made up, Katsuki decided to get out of bed. He changed as quietly as he could, afraid of waking Eri up as he, apparently, had yesterday. He also grabbed one of the new pairs of shoes Yamada got him, specifically for jogging. Apparently Aizawa had told him that Katsuki liked to jog when he delivered his coffee after he had caught him sneaking back in.

He’d never admit it, but he did appreciate having running shoes. Hopefully they’d be more comfortable to jog in. He grabbed his phone and carefully walked out of the room, heading out of the house just as he had yesterday. Only this time he was able to remember where to step so his exit was as quiet as possible.

As the fresh morning air hit him, he knew this was the right decision. Deciding on the same route he jogged yesterday, Katsuki took off.

When Katsuki returned he wasn’t surprised to hear the kitchen radio on. While he was still careful about entering the house again, he wasn’t as worried about being caught as he had been the previous day.

“Bakugou?” A voice, Aizawa, called out. Katsuki walked into the kitchen to see the man drinking a cup of coffee. The man looked up from his mug over to him. “Thought I told you to leave a note, kid. You have a phone now so a text works too.”

Katsuki shrugged as he took his phone out of his pocket. “I only got the phone last night. Nobody gave me any numbers.”

Aizawa gave him an unimpressed look and held out his hand. Katsuki rolled his eyes but passed it to the man. He leaned against the wall as the man unlocked his phone.

I need to add a password, Katsuki thought to himself as Aizawa did...something. He had a suspicion, but he wasn’t entirely sure what the man was doing. After a few more seconds he returned the phone to him.

“There,” He said, taking a sip of his coffee. “Now you have my number and Hizahi’s. I’m expecting a text if you’re gonna keep running in the morning.”

“Whatever,” Katsuki said, rolling his eyes. The man knew what he was doing so he didn’t see the point in telling him. But he had a feeling arguing with Aizawa would be different than with Yamada. At least when he argued with Yamada, he had a feeling he could win. With Aizawa, he couldn’t really say the same. He put his phone in his pocket as he turned from the man.

“Gonna shower,” He muttered, walking out of the kitchen. He didn’t say anything to him, but he assumed Aizawa had heard him if his small hum was anything to go by.

Katsuki stared at the mirror. It almost felt like he was dreaming, seeing himself in a U.A. uniform. Even with his reflection staring right back at him, it felt too unreal. Almost like the reality of everything hadn’t quite set yet, and most likely wouldn’t until he stepped into the classroom.

A bang on the bathroom door broke him from his thoughts. “Hurry up!”

Katsuki rolled his eyes and opened the door. Immediately, he frowned seeing Hitoshi.

“Finally,” He groaned, annoyed. “You take for fucking ever.”

“You need to get some fucking patience,” Katsuki said to him. Hitoshi huffed.

“I’ll work on it as soon as you get taller,” He told him. Katsuki glared up at the purple haired bastard as he walked past him. Though he did feel a hint of satisfaction as Hitoshi moved away from him, wanting to avoid getting hit like he had yesterday.

After a quick stop at his room to grab his shoes, Katsuki headed back downstairs towards the dining room. His jog did help get rid of some of the nerves he had this morning. So he was going to take advantage of it and eat breakfast before his anxiety came back and made him lose his appetite.

It wasn’t a surprise to see Yamada, Aizawa, and Eri there. This family obviously had a morning routine so Katsuki would have to get more used to it. But so far he’d say he wasn’t doing a shit job adjusting to it.

“Good morning Bakugou,” Yamada greeted, noticing him. Katsuki let out a small grunt as he nodded at the man and took his usual seat next to Eri. The little girl looked up at him with an excited smile.

“Good morning Kat!” She said, brightly. He let out a small sigh as he looked down at the girl.

“Good morning, Snow White,” He said quietly. Her eyes widened slightly before giving him a bright smile, obviously pleased with the nickname. Katsuki’s face warmed up. He knew that even though he was saying it quietly, Yamada and Aizawa had heard it and were looking at him. He ignored their stares however, and focused on his own plate, refusing to look up at either him.

He was relieved when Deku and Hitoshi entered the room, taking the attention away from him. Though it didn’t last long because it was still fucking Deku and Hitoshi.

“Morning Kacchan,” Deku said. Katsuki glanced up at him, but couldn’t be bothered to respond. Eri enthusiastically waving and muffled greeting was enough to distract everyone at the table.

“Oi, Snow White, swallow before you talk,” Katsuki lightly scolded before either Aizawa or Yamada could say anything. The brat nodded and did so before looking back at her brothers.

“Good Morning!” She said to them, a slight laugh in her voice. He could feel Hitoshi and Deku glancing at him, but thankfully the attention didn’t last as the two replied to the young girl.

Breakfast was, surprisingly, not as tense or annoying as usual. He suppose it had something to do with the fact that he was too wrapped up in his own worries. His mind preoccupied with mulling over everything that could, and most likely would, happen to him today that he couldn’t entirely focus on everything. Instead just picking up some bits and pieces of the conversation like fucking Deku mentioning that he was going somewhere today and Hitoshi asking if his blonde dumbass could come over again.

“Bakugou?” Someone said, breaking him out of his thoughts. He blinked and looked up from his plate. He could feel the others staring at him as he looked over at Yamada.

How long has he been talking to me? He thought to himself. He ignored the concerned look the man was sending him.

“What?” He asked.

“Are you alright?” He asked. Katsuki rolled his eyes.

“I’m fine. Stop your damn worrying,” He growled. Yamada gave him a look, but didn’t push. Instead the man looked over at Eri.

“You ready to go Eri?” He asked, standing up. Eri nodded excitedly.

“Lets go Kat!” She said, getting off her chair. Yamada gave her a small smile.

“Sorry sweetheart, but Bakugou isn’t coming today. He’s got his own classes to go to now,” He explained to her. Katsuki glanced down at the deflated girl. He rolled his eyes seeing her pout.

“Wipe that stupid look off your face brat. You’ll see me later,” He told her. She quickly looked up at him.

“Promise?” She asked, wide eyes staring at him intently. Katsuki huffed. He hadn’t expected such a small girl to be able to hold that intense of a look.

“Promise,” He grumbled. “Now go before you’re late.”

She nodded and waved to everyone as she ran out of the dining room, a small laugh coming from her. Yamada shot them a smile before following after her. Katsuki ignored the others' stares as he quickly finished up his food. Finally he glanced over to Aizawa.

“What?” he asked. Aizawa simply shook his head.

“Nothing,” He said. He stood up from his chair. “Ten minutes. If you’re not by the door you’re walking to school.”

Katsuki took that as his cue to leave the dining room. He quickly headed back upstairs to grab his things, Hitoshi and Deku walking behind him. From their constant whispering, he suspected they were talking about him. He didn’t say anything though, instead just walking straight into his room and refusing to acknowledge either of them.

He looked at his backpack. In ten minutes he’d be out of this house and heading to a new school. Except this time it was different. In ten minutes he would be heading to U.A. of all places for his first day. With a deep breath, he grabbed the bag before the nerves could come back.

“That’s the nurse's office. Though if you end up there the old hag will most likely nag you over something,” Aizawa said, motioning to a door they were passing.

It had been Aizawa that helped Katsuki get his schedule and was now showing Katsuki what he deemed important enough as the man walked him to his first class. As they walked down the halls Katsuki couldn’t help but wonder if the man had volunteered to do this or if Yamada had asked him to do so.

So far Katsuki had landed an opinion on everyone in the house. Hitoshi and Deku were fucking annoying, Eri was an energetic brat, and Yamada was a smiley dork. However he had no clue what to think of Aizawa. The man had mostly been neutral when it came to Katsuki. It was annoying, not being able to figure out the man. It was more annoying not knowing how the hell this man even felt about Katsuki being in his house. For all he knew, Aizawa could just be waiting for him to let his guard down to show his true colors. But he honestly wasn’t even sure if he believed that.

“That’s the library, as long as you don’t have class you’re allowed in there,” He said. Katsuki nodded. Even if he couldn’t figure the man out, he was glad for this small tour, if he could even call it that. He’d rather Aizawa show him some stuff than having to fucking ask someone something.

After walking down a few more halls, Aizawa stopped in front of a door. Katsuki stood behind him as he opened it. He couldn’t see much into the room, but he could hear multiple people talking, and a couple laughing very loudly.

“Everyone, in your seats,” Aizawa said, walking in. Katsuki stuck his hands in his pocket and made his face turn as blank as possible as he walked in behind him. Almost immediately, multiple people looked over at him. His plan was to ignore all of them, but that didn’t happen as someone smiled up at him.

“Yo Bakugou!” Denki said, slightly waving at him. Katsuki gave him an unimpressed, and borderline annoyed, look. It was strong enough for the boy’s hand to falter and his smile to be replaced with a look of confusion. He ignored the blonde dumbass as he looked back at Aizawa.

“Take whatever seat,” He told him. Katsuki nodded and grabbed a seat behind some blonde girl. But of course the seats behind him were taken up by Hitoshi and fucking deku.

Can’t even fucking get away from them at school, He thought to himself, scowling at the two boys. Hitoshi rolled his eyes while Deku gave him a nervous smile. He ignored them as he sat down and looked toward the front of the room.

“Everyone,” Aizawa said, standing behind a podium at the front of the room. “Get out your essays and hand them to the front.”

Katsuki stayed silent as he grabbed the papers from Deku and handed them to the girl in front of him. His hand twitched, still feeling multiple eyes on him, as Aizawa began collecting all the papers. He finally snapped when Aizawa made it halfway to the room and people still weren’t getting the hint he was ignoring them. He looked over at his fucking classmates and glared.

“Either say something or look somewhere else!” He called out loudly to them. It was almost amusing how quickly some of them looked away from him. The ones who didn’t just looked shocked at his outburst. He rolled his eyes and looked back towards the front of the room, opting to ignore them again.

This was gonna be a long fucking year, he thought to himself, already hearing some kids whispering. About what? He didn’t know, but he had a pretty good idea since he could tell some of them were still looking over at him.

When lunch rolled around, Katsuki was slightly relieved. He had only sat through four classes so far, and he’d admit he was able to keep up, but U.A. was definitely a lot more challenging than his other schools. It was something he was already slightly aware of, but it was different actually being in class than just thinking of attending it.

He could hear the others talking amongst themselves and guessed they were just as ready for a small break as he was. He ignored them all as he gathered his things together. As he did so, he could hear someone say his name. His eyes snapped over to see it was Denki who seemed to be talking to some other kids.

Right, that bitch actually knows my name , he remembered. He sent a silent prayer to literally anyone that they wouldn’t come up to him. Of course the world hated him because he could hear one of them exclaim “I’m just going to do it!” before walking away from them.

He stared as a red haired boy made his way over him. Just by the bright ass grin the kid was sending him, Katsuki knew whatever was coming was going to be a waste of time. So he didn’t hesitate to grab his bag and stand up. But he didn’t make it far before shitty hair stood in front of him.

“Bakugou right?” He said. Katsuki didn’t answer, instead just crossed his arms and stared him down as best he could. Of course this annoying kid was taller than him, but what else was new. Shitty hair let out a small chuckle as he awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck with one of his hands. He gestured towards a small group of kids, who were not even hiding that they were watching the two of them. “Denki mentioned your name when he was telling us about how you helped him out yesterday with the homework. Which honestly I have no idea how you did, I was struggling with that exact problem last night and it took me like forever to figure it out.”

Katsuki stayed silent as he continued to stare him down, unimpressed by his nervous rambling. Red head stopped talking and cleared his throat, obviously flustered from being stared down. But he didn’t let that stop him as he gave Katsuki a small nervous smile as he pointed back to the same group of kids.
“I know I’m rambling at this point, but since you’re new here and you helped Denki we were wondering if you wanted to have lunch with us.” He gave him a more confident smile. “I’m Eijirou by the way!”

“Lunch with you extras? Hard pass,” Katsuki said, moving past the red hair. He made his way towards the door but stopped in front of the blonde boy.

“Look at me again and I’ll gouge out your eyeballs,” He threatened in a low voice. His mouth twitched seeing Denki’s face pale. Though no one, thankfully, noticed so he just rolled his eyes and walked out of the room.

Katsuki was glad no one followed him out of the room. He’d rather get hit by a car than willingly talk to or have lunch with anybody in that classroom. But at the same time he was annoyed he hadn’t left the room earlier. Because if Katsuki was honest, he had no idea where the cafeteria was and the classmates that had already left were already far enough that Katsuki couldn’t really follow them. But he already made the scene of walking out of the classroom and he was not going to ruin it by waiting for someone else to walk out just so he could find the damn cafeteria.

After a small debate with himself, Katsuki decided to just head over to one of the very few spots he knew of the school. He quickly decided the library was his best option and walked back to where Aizawa had first shown it to him.

Lunch was a fairly quiet affair. Most of the kids in there were either from the same lunch period as Katsuki and had an equal distaste for the cafeteria or just kids who needed to pick something up for class. And since he didn’t really have much work to do he had just picked some random manga off one of the shelfs and read that for the rest of lunch.

The second half of his day was just as worse as his first half. His teachers were different than he was used to, the classes didn’t get easier - but Katsuki was proud to say he could follow along - and his classmates were very much still annoying.

But he was glad that his first day at U.A. did not end in disaster. Though it would have been a much better ending if he could have walked home alone. Since Aizawa actually had some meeting today after school Katsuki had to walk home, which he was okay with. However he was not okay with the fact that he was basically a third wheel to fucking Shinsou and his dumbass boyfriend. Honestly he was grateful Deku had plans today or walking home with all three of them would have been a real pain in the ass.

As soon as he saw Yamada’s house in view, Katsuki felt nothing but relief. He was ready to go to his room and lock himself away from the annoying assholes. He stood behind the two as Hitoshi unlocked the door. As soon as he walked into the house he heard a loud laugh.

“Kat!” Someone shouted. He froze as Eri hugged him. He didn’t push her off, but he also didn’t hug her back.

“I can’t believe you already replaced me as her favorite,” He heard Denki say. He glared at the blonde boy, but didn’t reply to him. He looked away from him as he felt her let go. She looked up at him, an excited smile on her face, and grabbed his hand. “Kat, come play with me and Mirio!”

He willed himself not to tense up as she attempted to pull him. Instead he just raised an eyebrow down at her. “Who?”

She pointed behind her towards the living room. “Mirio!”

He looked over to see a tall blonde boy, probably a little older than him. From his outfit Katsuki could tell that he was also a U.A. student. He assumed he was a senior or something if he was already here before Hiotshi and himself. The blonde boy, Mirio, gave him a slight wave as Eri went back and took a seat by him.

“Nice to meet you. Katsuki right?” He asked. Katsuki narrowed his eyes, but nodded at the older boy. Mirio grinned. “Eri’s been telling me a lot about you. She’s been waiting for you to get here.”

“And now that you’re here we can play!” She said. Katsuki’s lip twitched. The girl’s excitement and loud energy might have been annoying, but a part of him didn’t entirely hate it. However his ideal afternoon wasn’t spending playing make believe with a six-year-old, no matter how tolerable she was.

“Sorry squirt, but I got homework to do,” He said. He hated the guilt that hit him, seeing her eyes dim as a pout took over. He crossed his arms and averted his eyes. “If you want, we can play after dinner.”

Eri quickly sat up, eyes lighting up again. “Yes!”

He ignored the small smile Mirio sent him as Eri excitedly talked to him about what games to play later. Katsuki used the opportunity to silently slip upstairs. He didn’t hesitate to head into his room and shut the door behind him.

He headed over to the desk and took out his books. He let out a huff of breath as he looked down at his homework.

One day down, he thought. So many more to go.

The next couple of days went off in a similar fashion.

A morning jog, getting ready for school, and having breakfast with Yamada and his family. As the days went on the meals slowly became more bearable, but there was always a slight tension over the table. Mainly between him and Hitoshi. And as soon as he got to school he found himself glaring at his annoying classmates to leave him alone and shut up. As well hiding out in the library because he’d rather die than go into the cafeteria, no matter how many times shitty hair and dumbass attempted to invite him to their table. His days usually ended with homework, dinner -that was just as tense as breakfast- with everyone and either spending the night reading in his room or letting Eri bug him.

Before he knew it, Katsuki’s first week at U.A. had passed.

A week after his first day, Katsuki found himself walking through U.A.’s halls after school alone. Apparently Deku and Hitoshi both had plans that day and Katsuki was going to milk the alone time as much as he could. As tolerable as some of the people in the house were slowly becoming, a part of Katsuki was longing for some peace and quiet. Even if that meant walking all over U.A. before officially heading back to Yamada’s.

A voice broke Katsuki out of his thoughts.

“Ah don’t be so rude,” He overheard. He raised an eyebrow, he was sure most students were gone. He quietly turned the corner and frowned at the scene. It was a guy cornering a girl, who obviously wanted to get away from him. He had no idea who this motherfucker was, but his eyes narrowed as he looked at the girl with the ponytail.

He had no idea what her name was, but he had seen her before. She was in his class and, in Katsuki’s opinion, was less annoying than most of the damn extras in there. She was also one of the smartest people Katsuki had ever come across. Other than that he didn’t know much about her.

“I’m just trying to go home, can you just leave me alone please?” She said, a slight tremor in her voice, as she attempted to walk away from him. Katsuki’s fist clenched as the boy stepped in front of her.

“Calm down princess, you’re not that special,” He told her. Katsuki narrowed her eyes, seeing her look away. He noticed a frown on her face and that didn’t sit well with him at all. He didn’t give it a second thought as he stalked over to her before the guy tried anything else.

“She said move,” He spoke up. His voice was quieter than usual, but it still had an effect as both of them froze. Katsuki ignored Ponytail as the boy turned around. He looked down at the shorter boy, which was saying something coming from him, and raised an eyebrow.

“Didn’t you hear her?” He sneered and grabbed the front of the boy’s shirt, lifting him up a bit. “Leave her alone or else.”

The boy paled and gave him a shaky nod. Katsuki tsked and let go, dropping him to the floor. He glared at the motherfucker as he picked himself up and practically ran away. He rolled his eyes once the short bastard was out of his sight. He looked back and glanced up at the girl, who was staring at him with wide eyes.
“You okay Ponytail?” He asked. She blinked before slowly nodding.

“I’m fine,” She said quietly. Katsuki nodded and glanced away, giving her a moment to recollect herself. He glanced back over when he heard her speak up. “Thank you for stepping in.”

“Don’t thank me for doing the bare minimum,” He huffed. “Any other decent person would have done it.”

“Will you be alright to get home?” He asked her before she could argue. She nodded.

“My driver should be outside waiting,” She told him. His eyes widened a bit at her words.

Driver? He thought. Despite the multiple comments he’s made about the school being elitist, he forgot that some of these kids actually were a part of the elite.

“Want me to walk you?” He offered. She averted her eyes.

“If you don’t mind.”

“I wouldn’t have offered if I did.”

The walk to the car was quiet. Katsuki wasn’t interested in socializing and Ponytail either got the hint or wasn’t in the mood to talk herself. Either way, Katsuki was happy to not talk. Just because he stopped some creep did not mean he was looking for a friend.

When they got to her car, the tall girl looked like she wanted to say something to him. Katsuki raised an eyebrow. “If you’re going to thank me I already told you, don’t.”

“It’s more than the bare minimum, but I will respect your wishes,” She said. As she opened the door to get in, Katsuki stopped her.

“Oi, Ponytail,” He called out. She glanced back over at him. “If he pulls something like that let me know and I’ll be more than happy to deal with it.”

She stared at him for a moment before nodding. “See you tomorrow Bakugou.”

Katsuki nodded. Once the car door closed, he turned and started walking away from the school. The walk around U.A. might not have been as peaceful and quiet as he wanted, but hopefully the walk back to Yamada’s house would be.

When he walked into class the next day, it felt different. While his class usually found a way to be very annoying and loud in the morning, he had found a way to ignore them. But when he walked in that day he could feel someone staring at him.

He subtly glanced around the room and found Ponytail looking at him. The first thing he noticed was the frown on her face and how she seemed closed in on herself in her seat. He raised an eyebrow, the question going unasked.

She glanced away but gave him a small nod. Katsuki scowled but nodded back. He took a seat at his desk and looked toward the front as Aizawa walked up to the podium.

This place wasn’t too bad while it lasted, he thought before paying attention once Aizawa started talking.

When class ended for lunch, Katsuki glanced back at Ponytail. She had barely spoken up during class today. And If he had noticed then he was positive the other extras in the room noticed too.

“Bakugou, wanna get lunch with us?” Shitty hair asked, walking over to his desk. He glanced up at Eijirou. The red haired boy had been asking ever since his first day. It was like he couldn’t - or more like wouldn’t - take the hint that Katsuki didn’t want anything to do with this class. But now he was gonna need him if he wanted to find that purple bastard right now. With a small sigh he stood up.

“Fine,” He said. Eijirou’s eyes widened.

“Really?”

“Yes,” Katsuki growled. “Now lets go before I regret this.”

Hair for brains grinned and nodded, leading him to his friends. They all seemed shocked to see Katsuki with him, but they attempted to hide it with smiles and loud greetings.

“Bakugou! You’re not gonna regret this!” Denki said. Katsuki dodged him as he attempted to throw an arm around his shoulder. The blonde didn’t say anything, instead just grinned as he pointed to a tall plain looking boy and a pink haired girl. “This is Hanta and Mina.”

“Fantastic,” Katsuki replied. “Can we go now?”

Mina let out a small laugh. “Someone’s hungry.”

“Mina I literally saw you eating snacks during that last lecture,” Eijirou said.

“You had snacks and didn’t share,” Denki whined. Hanta snickered.

“Can you blame her? You’re the most obvious person ever man.”

“Not true,” Denki said. Katsuki couldn’t help but roll his eyes, noticing Denki’s pout. Maybe this was a mistake.

As if reading his thoughts, Eijirou laughed as he shook his head. “Whatever you say bro, let’s just go now.”

The rest of them easily listened and walked out of the classroom. Mina and Denki lead the way as Hanta followed behind them, a grin on his face as he listened to their stupid conversation. Katuski tried to keep his distance from them, but of course fucking Eijirou decided to walk right next to him. Katsuki didn’t talk, choosing instead to vaguely listen to their conversation.

“Hey Denki, is Shinsou sitting with us today?” Eijirou asked.

“Nah, he’s sitting with Izuku and his friends today.”

“What about Kyoka and Momo?”

“Kyoka said they were but she’s checking on Momo first since she was really quiet today,” Mina filled them in. Eijirou frowned.

“I hope she’s okay.”

Before any of them could say anything else they approached a set of double doors. Katsuki watched as Kaminari forcefully opened the door and Mina practically bounced inside.

“You guys need to chill,” Hanta said, an exasperated smile on his face.

“I didn’t have breakfast and I’m starving so let me live Sero!” Kaminari said loudly, quickly running after Mina. Hanta snorted and followed them at a much calmer pace. It was one of the weirder things Katsuki had witnessed because he had never been to a school where kids were actually excited to eat cafeteria food.

Katsuki wasn’t entirely sure what he was expecting as he entered the cafeteria. However three different lines serving food was definitely not it. As he and Eijirou walked farther in, he couldn’t help but notice that the food actually smelled good and admittedly did not look terrible. Though he ignored those thoughts as his eyes scanned the entire room looking for the short bastard from yesterday.

“Are you looking for a table?” Eijirou asked, probably noticing him looking around. “We usually take that one in the back over there. Only because-”

Katsuki didn’t hear the rest of the sentence. As soon as his eyes landed on a short bastard with purple hair leaning against a table talking to an annoyed group of girls he instantly knew it was him. He didn’t think twice about it, letting his feet guide him over.

“Hey!” He called out as soon as he was close enough. His lip twitched, noticing the kid tense up at hearing his voice. The kid turned to look at him, cowering as he made eye contact with him. He raised his hands up, almost like a surrender.

“Look man I-”

Katsuki didn’t let him finish. He really wasn’t in the mood to hear whatever the fuck this asshole had to say for himself. Without hesitation, he swung. He smirked, hearing the satisfying crack as his fist came into contact with his nose. He used one hand to grab the front of the kid’s shirt, pulling him closer so no one could hear him.

“I warned you,” He growled.

“I didn’t do anything!” The creep said, voice shrill, causing Katsuki to roll his eyes. He let go of his shirt, making him stumble back. There was a crowd growing now, but he didn’t care. He could hear multiple calls for a teacher and even hear some kids rushing to see what was going on. He ignored them and focused on the purple haired waste of space.

Not allowing him to catch a breath, Katsuki threw another blow to the face. Then another. And another.

There was probably one or two more before someone was grabbing his wrist, stopping him. He scowled and glanced back, coming face to face with Aizawa. He didn’t falter, but he did stop, moving away from the creep as a different teacher approached. He almost smirked at seeing him. It was gonna take a long while before the bastard’s face was back to normal.

Katsuki finally glanced around, taking note of all the looks of the gathered students. He wasn’t surprised to see most of them staring at him in horror. It was only a matter of time really. He didn’t dwell on it though as he managed to find Ponytail in the crowd. As he made eye contact with her he knew that this wasn’t something he regretted doing.

“Back to lunch!” Aizawa called out to the crowd, his voice loud and sharp. It was Katsuki’s first time hearing it like that so he could understand why no one hesitated to walk away. He did his best to keep a neutral face as Aizawa looked at him again. “Come with me, Bakugou.”

Katsuki pulled himself out of the man’s hold and nodded, following him out of the cafeteria.

“Bakugou, can you explain what happened with Mineta?” Aizawa asked. Katsuki shrugged.

“Bastard has a punchable face,” He answered. His actions were his own so he wasn’t gonna let this be tied back to Ponytail. Aizawa glanced back at him, but didn’t say anything. Katsuki narrowed his eyes, wondering what the fuck that look meant. Before he could give it much thought they arrived at a door. Aizawa didn’t even knock, instead opening the door and walking into the office, the silent command to follow him was there.

Katsuki crossed his arms as he did so. Just about a week ago he was taking the exam that let him into this school and now he was about to be kicked. He ignored the thought as he took a seat across from Nezu, who sat behind his desk. He narrowed his eyes as Aizawa whispered something to the white haired man, who nodded.

“That does change things,” Nezu said as Aizawa moved away from him. He gave Katsuki a small smile, if he didn’t know any better he would think the man was trying to be reassuring.
“However there still has to be consequences,” Nezu said. “Therefore Bakugou, you are to be suspended for the rest of the week and serve a month's worth of detention.”

His eyes widened. As hard as he was trying, Katsuki couldn’t school his expression into a neutral one. This wasn’t what usually happened. All of his past schools knew of his record, so the moment he slipped up they did not hesitate to expel him. Instead of voicing these thoughts he nodded. Nezu smiled at him.

“Very well, you’re dismissed,” He said. Katsuki nodded, not wasting a second to leave the room. He needed to collect his thoughts. This wasn’t what was suppose to happen. This never happens.

He gets into a fight, he gets expelled, and his foster parents either punish him or send him away. That was the pattern.

So what the hell happened for that to break.

He glanced over at the door as it opened up. He made eye contact with Aizawa, who was giving him an almost calculating look. The man didn’t say anything to him, but did hold his hand out to him. Katsuki glanced down to see a key. He looked back up at the older man, unsure of what he wanted him to do.

“Collect your things and head home,” He said, voices as neutral as ever. “Hizashi and I will see you there later.”

Katsuki nodded, finally understanding what was going on. Of course he wasn’t going to get kicked out. Not with Aizawa and Yamada as his foster parents. The pattern wasn’t entirely broken then. Aizawa’s words were enough for him to know that even if he wasn’t facing expulsion, he was going to get punished.

“Yes sir,” He said, voice tight, as he grabbed the key. The only surprising thing about this really was how long it took for them to get to this point.
