Bunny joins on patrol

Izuku was honestly a little scared.

He always thought he would be the one to find Chisaki, not the other way around. It had been a concern, sure. But the probability was close to nothing.

Yet. Here he was. Watching as the Yakuza members patrolled his neighborhood.

He had been hearing the rumors of how they would patrol a neighborhood for a week before moving on.

Of course they were looking for him and Eri.

Maybe it was time he told Eraser the truth about her. If anything were to happen to Izuku the only person he would trust with his little sisters safety was that hobo looking man.

He wasn't prepared to fight Yakuza yet. His biggest catch so far had been a human trafficking ring. Yakuza was Japan's mob. He couldn't fight mobsters.

He looked over at Eri's sleeping form. For once she was asleep on her bed, no nightmares having woken her up just yet.

He really wasn't comfortable leaving her alone in the apartment while he was out on patrol.... and he has to go on patrol tonight to let Eraser and Tsuka know he was alright.

Sighing he let his position near the window and went to their small kitchen. He bent down and opened one of the bottom cabinets where an unassuming brown box waited for him. Pulling it out he placed it on the top of the counter and opened it.

He was met with the costume of Bunny.

He had decided it was too risky to hide her costume with his own so he had hidden it away. Only to be used in emergencies.

Tonight could be considered one right?

If Eri was going to join him then he couldn't do any real vigilantism. But that's okay, he could just take her sight seeing and may they would just happen to run into Eraser.

He walked over to Eri and shook her slightly. "Imouto. Wake up, I have surprise." He whispered, continuing to gently shake her shoulder.

The tired girl stirred a bit before releasing a large yawn and sitting up.

"Izu-nii?" She asked, rubbing her eyes tiredly. Izuku let himself smile at the sight. He ruffled her hair a bit. She took in the sight of him in full vigilante gear, confusion clouding her eyes.

"I was thinking. What if you join me tonight? You could meet Eraser for the first time and we could see the city together. What do you say?"

It took a moment for her sleep addled brain to comprehend what he was saying. When his words finally registered she instantly become more awake.

"Really Izu-nii?"

"Yep! Now, let's get you suited up."

Half an hour later she looked exactly as she did when he brought Shinsou over.

Her hair tightly secured and hidden by her black hoodie. Her blue bunny masquerade mask covering the top of her face, one of the ears helping hide her horn. A black and blue tutu on too of some black leggings. Her favorite white sneakers covering her feet.

"Let's go!" She cheered, practically vibrating in place.

Chuckling he picked her up. "Hold on Imouto."

Teleporting to a block away, the top of an office building if he was correct. He never really knew what they did but it wasn't criminal so he let it slide.

Izuku looked over the edge for any Yakuza members. They were in the clear for now but who knows how long that could last.

He picked Eri up and prepared to rooftop hop.

They leaped between buildings, Izuku keeping an eye out for any threats. Eraser's route was a little far from his apartment but on the plus side there were a few things to show Eri on the way there.

Like when you were on top of a skyscraper and you could actually see the stars in the sky. Or the slushie place that was open at all hours.

When they finally did line up with his patrol route they sat down on a roof. He was supposed to be there soon.

"Are you excited to meet Eraser?" Izuku asked, keeping his senses heightened as he listened for any approach. He actually has a theory that somehow he's connected to the shadows in some weird voodoo way that let's him feel if they are disturbed in any way.

"Yeah! Toshi's really nice so his dad should be too!"

"That is some flawed logic Imouto."

"Hey! It's not my fault I'm only six!"

Izuku couldn't help but laugh at his little sister. Sometimes he did forget she was so young. Life really wasn't fair was it? But currently he would have it no other way.

He heard Eraser approaching from behind him. Perfect. Great. This is going to be so much fun.

"Kid? Thank God you're alright." The man sighed. Eri ducked quickly out of Izuku's vision.

"You're Mr. Eraser! Hello! You can call me Bunny!" She announced, pointing proudly to herself. Izuku quickly snatched her up into his arms. If she got too close to Eraser he might just decide to take her for leverage.

"....what the fuck." Eraser's face was slack with shock. Guess a very illegal vigilante bringing one of his only vulnerabilities to meet a pro hero was a new experience for the man.

"You heard the girl. This is Bunny. My little sister." Eri was squirming in his arms whining for him to let her down.

"Problem Child. Why?" He sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose.

"Hey, can you give her your scarf? So she can play with it?" Eri froze in his arms and instead gave the man her biggest pair puppy dog eyes. Glad she agreed with the idea.

Eraser could only sigh once again and hand over the capture gear. Izuku let down his little sister and she immediately grabbed the scarf and darted off to farther down the roof.

Keeping Eri in his line of sight he dropped his voice and started talking.

"She's only here because she wouldn't be safe at home." Izuku hissed. "I've kind of deceived you for a while about her." He couldn't look at the pro hero as the words started flowing.

"Bunny isn't my biological sister. She's still my sister but we don't have the same parents. I actually got her from the Yakuza boss, Chisaki."

"You did what!?" Eraser's voice was louder than Izuku would've liked so he shot the man a look.

"I'm telling you this because I've seen them around my neighborhood and I need your guarantee that if anything happens to me or, god forbid, they take her back you will have my back. Her safety is top priority." Izuku was almost growling at the man.

It was quite for a moment as the watched Eri play around at the other end of the roof. He heard Eraser sigh. Man, he sure did that a lot.

"You have my word on her safety. But kid, you're safety is also top priority so don't do anything stupid. I can't imagine Bunny would be able to deal with her big brother's death as well."

Izuku didn't answer. He had lost his sense of self-preservation the first month of the Leagues torture. It was kill or get killed now.

Aizawa needed a coffee. Patrol had ended a little over half an hour ago and he still couldn't process what Rogue had told him.

He had to be joking. No way that kid was stupid enough to piss of the local Yakuza right? Even the craziest pro heroes Aizawa knew weren't that goddamn stupid.

He numbly grabbed his phone and dialled Tsukauchi because this was certainly a development. Whether it was good or bad had yet to be determined.

"Eraserhead? Is everything alright?"

"No. Everything is not alright. I ran into the kid tonight and I have a new lead for his identity." Maybe Tsukauchi could find the lie. He hopes Tsukauchi could find the lie.

"You've lost me. How exactly is that a bad thing?"

"Because he pissed off the Yakuza Tsukauchi. It turns out Bunny is from Chisaki's Yakuza branch. We thought that they were living with abusive parents but they're being hunted by the Yakuza."

"....Shit. We've got to find out who they are before Chisaki does. I'll call Nighteye first thing in the morning since I know he's had his eye on the bullets Chisaki has been producing. Maybe he'll know something about Bunny."

Aizawa closed his eyes. Now they had a race against the clock to figure out who Rogue was. Before it wasn't the most concerning thing. The kid was helping people and Aizawa had a constant eye on him so they would know when his morals shifted. But now they had to find them before Chisaki did.

"Don't worry Eraserhead. We will find them first. I swear by it."

They talked about how they were possibly going to go about this for a while before ending the call. By the time the call had been ended Hizashi had woken up and was looking at him worriedly.

"Is everything alright Shou?" He asked quietly, coming to sit by Aizawa. Aizawa leaned into him and buried his face in the crook of his neck.

"Rogue and Bunny are in trouble and we don't have a solid lead to their real identities." He mumbled against his Husband's neck.

"Everything will work out. If you and Tsukauchi ever need any help I'd be glad to lend a hand."

They fell asleep like that. Curled up together on the couch, in their own little peaceful bubble.
