quarantine sucked.
...but it was a little bit better since you got to spend it with super cool gf.
...and everyone else in the dorms. they were so annoying at times, mina had to hold you back from throwing hands on multiple occasions. we don't talk about that.
currently though, you were hanging out in your dorm with you painting mina's nails while your playlist was playing on a low volume from your laptop.
while you were focusing intently on drawing daisies on her black painted nails, mina was admiring you.
the way the natural light from your window shined through the blinds and hit the side of your face giving your skin a golden glow, you're eyebrows furrowed and eyes squinted, concentrated on not messing up. you just looked so...ethereal. she couldn't help but blurt it out.
"you're stunning."
you paused in what you were doing and looked up at her, scoffing, "that's gay bro".
"ok but, you're still stunning though!" she exclaimed, her voice raising on octave.
"mina-i-you're distracting me.." you blush, looking anywhere else but at her. as much as you loved compliments (especially from her) you just got so flustered and it was embarrasing to say the least.
"well excuse me, but you know i can't help that you're a celestial being."
"says you! you're literally the prettiest girl i've ever seen in my life."
mina busted out laughing, almost messing up her nailpolish while doing so.
"you-you're hilarious y'know! have you ever thought about stand up comedy?"
"if you're kidding, shut up. but if you're being serious, well i have actually! i dunno i think i could do it...but that's besides the point."
"no, no. i think you could do it y'know, if hero-ing doesn't work out and all..though i might be a little biased."
you chuckled, "well whatever, just let me finish your nails. i'm almost done."
"fine." she leans down a bit and kisses your head, "i love you."
glancing up at her, you give her a closed-mouth smile, "i love you too."
